Child labor is common in some developing countries with poor economic conditions, as many families struggle financially. When families experience issues like the death of the head of household, low incomes, or a lack of emphasis on education, children often have to work at a young age to help support the family. This can negatively impact children's health and development, as they may have to work long hours in the morning or evening, lack proper nutrition, and be exposed to unsafe working environments and communities. The author is a childhood expert who holds several degrees related to social work, NGO management, education, and childhood development.
