Child abuse can take several forms including physical, emotional, and neglect. While abuse by strangers occurs, most abuse is committed by family members. Addressing child abuse requires establishing more protection agencies to intervene in abusive situations and educate the public that abuse can seriously harm children, as some abusers are not aware of the impact of their actions. The most common types of abuse are physical and neglect, and face-to-face abuse is more prevalent than cyber abuse.
