Hodgkin's disease is a type of lymphoma cancer originating from white blood cells that affects lymph tissue. Common symptoms include enlarged lymph nodes, fever, night sweats and weight loss. Treatment depends on disease stage and may involve chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or both. Lymphadenitis is an infection of the lymph nodes caused by bacteria, viruses or fungi that causes swelling. Treatment involves antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and surgery if abscesses form.
