The New CSR Law
The new Companies Bill, passed by of the two houses of Parliament,
prescribes the following CSR rules for companies:

CSR in Current Environment The New CSR Law The new Companies Bill, passed by of the two houses of Parliament, prescribes the following CSR rules for companies: Where: Who: Every company with a net worth of Rs.500 crore or more, or turnover of Rs.1,000 crore or more, or a net profit of Rs.5 crore or more during any financial year How Much: 2% At least of its average net profit in the last three years The Bill lists nine broad areas, which encompasses much that results in social good.
