WHAT IS BUSINESS ANALYSIS?
Business analysis is the discipline of identifying business needs and determining
solutions to business. Solutions often include a systems development component, but
may consist of process improvement, organizational change or policy development. The
person who carries out this task is called a business analyst or BA.
Business analysis, as a discipline, has a heavy overlap with requirements analysis
sometimes also called requirements engineering, but focuses on identifying the changes
to an organization that are required for it to achieve strategic goals. These changes
include changes to strategies, structures, policies, processes, and information systems.
CERTIFIED BUSIENSS ANALYSIS PROFESSIONAL (CBAP®/CCBA®)
The Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®/CCBA®) certification is done by hands-on
work experience in business analysis through the (CBAP®/CCBA®) application process,
and requiring candidates to pass a multiple-choice examination.
CBAP are experts in identifying the business needs of an organization in order to
determine the best solutions, a role that is increasingly seen as a vital component of any
successful project. More and more companies in Pakistan are recognizing the CBAP
certification and the value and expertise that these professionals bring to their
organizations.
TRAINING METHODOLOGY, OBJECTIVES AND KEY BENEFITS
This training will discuss the basic concepts and techniques of business analysis through

Mr. Asad-Ur-Rehman is a Senior IT Consultant with extensive
experience in software development and implementation. He
has over 22 years of experience in IT industry in various roles
and capacities.
He is Executive Director at OISOL Pvt. Ltd. His last position was Director Sales
and Operations at Business Beam. Prior to this, he was COO at Plexus. He has
worked as Chief Technology Officer at large manufacturing and distribution group
(Kolson), heading their IT department. He is CBAP Qualified.
As a Business consultant he can identify the business need of organization.
Through analysis of business requirements a workable solution can be suggested
to that particular business (enterprise).
He has been associated with Muhammad Ali Jinnah University and PAF-KIET as
adjunct faculty. Also served as trainer at PICQ; teaching Software related
courses. He has delivered many sessions as guest speaker at local universities on
Quality Assurance and Career Guidance.
He has delivered public sessions on Business Analysis for professional CBAP &
