A 50-year-old housewife presented with decreased distance and near vision for 15 years. She was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa. While she could do her daily activities independently, she wanted to enhance her vision. Her visual acuity improved to 0.9 LogMAR with glasses, and a monocular telescope improved her distance vision to 0.3. She was prescribed glasses, convex lenses, and counseling and asked to follow up in 3-4 months.

Synaptophore in ophthalmology

through the optic nerve allowing an object to be perceived .
fixation disparity
Fixation disparity occurs when the visual axes of the eyes are not perfectly aligned on an object being fixated. It results in a small misalignment that falls within Panum's fusional area. Different types of fixation disparity include exo and eso disparities. Fixation disparity is a more useful measure of binocular vision status than phoria, as it can be measured under normal binocular viewing conditions, unlike phoria which requires dissociating the eyes. Fixation disparity curves provide information about the relationship between phoria and fixation disparity.
Aniseikonia
Aniseikonia refers to an unequal apparent size of images seen by the two eyes. It can result from differences in refractive errors between the eyes (refractive aniseikonia) or differences in the distribution of retinal elements (basic aniseikonia). Symptoms include headaches, asthenopia, and difficulties with mobility or fusion. Aniseikonia is usually caused by anisometropia above 1.50-2.00 diopters and analyzing ocular components can help determine if it is due to refractive or axial differences.
Fitting assessment of soft contact lens

Soft Toric Contact Lens
Soft toric contact lenses are used to correct astigmatism by having different powers in different meridians. They come in various types depending on the surface curvature (front toric, back toric, bitoric), material (hydrogel, silicone hydrogel), wearing schedule (disposable, extended wear), and color. Silicone hydrogel lenses allow for higher oxygen permeability. Toric lenses are suitable for astigmatism patients wanting colored lenses. Disposable lenses are worn daily to monthly while extended wear lenses can be worn continuously for up to 30 days. Soft toric lenses are indicated for astigmatism over 0.75D when spherical lenses are insufficient or rigid lenses not tolerated.

Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. She reported that she having problem in recite The Holy Quran but she was saying that She can do his work independently , she was satisfied with his daily activities ,She used glasses for distance.She had not any addition disability.She visited low vision clinic to enhanced his distance and near vision.

- 10. Management: 1. Distance glasses. 2. Convex lenses for near work. 3. Counseling (Genetic,Home management) 4. Follow up after 3 to 4 months.
