This document outlines the process for analyzing a case study on launching a proposed sports daily newspaper called Bharat Sports Daily. It identifies the management decision problem of whether to launch the daily and determining first year demand and profitability. Through discussions with experts and research, the management research problem is defined as understanding awareness, perceptions and purchase intentions for a sports daily. Key variables are identified like dependent variables of demand and sales, and independent variables of attitudes and demographics. The research aims to test hypotheses about the impact of attitudes and literacy on purchase intentions.
