Carpentry tools are used in construction to cut, shape, and install building materials. Some common carpentry tools described in the document are hammers for driving nails, levels for measuring straight lines, pull push rules for measuring, wire nails for fastening materials, electric drills for drilling holes, crosscut saws for cutting wood perpendicular to the grain, electric planers for creating flat surfaces, and personal protective equipment like gloves and goggles to protect carpenters. The document provides information on the uses of basic carpentry tools and safety equipment.
ELECTRICAL TOOLS
Like any other repair or improvement project around the house, electrical work requires tools.
There are also some specialty electrical tools that come in handy from time to time, and these are readily available at most home centers, hardware stores, electrical supply stores, and online retailers.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

sudden impact) to an object. Most hammers are hand
tools used to drive nails, fit parts, forge metal, and break
apart objects. Hammers vary in shape, and size.
4. Pull push rule
The definition of push-pull is a method to achieve action
by pushingand pulling. An example of something push-
pull is a knob that turns an appliance on by pulling the
knob and turns off the appliance by pushing the knob.
5. Level bar
• carpenter's level - a straight bar of
light metal with a spirit level in
it. bar - a rigid piece of metal or
wood; usually used as a fastening or
obstruction or weapon; "there
were bars in the windows to

6. Common wire nail/CWN
In and construction, a nail is a pin-shaped object
of metal (or wood, called a tree nail or "trunnel") which is
used as a fastener, as a peg to hang something, or
sometimes as a decoration.[1] Generally, nails have a sharp
point on one end and a flattened head on the other, but
headless nails are available. Nails are made in a great
variety of forms for specialized purposes. The most
common is a wire nail. Other types of nails include , spikes,
and cleats.
7. Electril drill
• An electric drill is a drill which is driven by
an electric motor. The invention of the electric
drill is credited to Arthur James Arnot and
William Blanch Brain of Melbourne, Australia
who patented the electric drill in 1889.[ In 1895,
the first portable handheld drill was created by
brothers Wilhelm & Carl Fein of Stuttgart,
Germany. In 1917 the first trigger-switch,
pistol-grip portable drill was patented by Black
& Decker.[2]
8. Crosscut saw
• A crosscut saw (thwart saw) is
any saw designed for
cutting wood perpendicular to (across)
the wood grain. Crosscut saws may be small
or large, with small teeth close together for
fine work like woodworking or large for
coarse work like log bucking, and can be
a hand tool or power tool.
9. Electric planer
• The term planer may refer to several
types of carpentry tools, woodworking
machines or metalworking machine tools.
Plane (tool): a hand tool used to produce
flat surfaces by shaving the surface of the
wood.
10. Personal protective equipment/PPE
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) refers to
protective clothing, helmets, goggles, or other garments or
equipment designed to protect the wearer's body
from injury or infection. The hazards addressed by
protective equipment include physical, electrical, heat,
chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particulate matter.

related occupational safety and health purposes, as well as
for sports and other recreational activities. "Protective
clothing" is applied to traditional categories of clothing,
