This document investigates the effect of various process parameters on the material removal rate during the grinding of AISI H11 hot work steel under different cooling environments (dry, wet, and compressed gas). The study uses a Taguchi orthogonal array to optimize and analyze parameters such as feed rate, depth of cut, and wheel speed, revealing that depth of cut is the most influential factor on material removal rate. Results indicate that compressed gas environment significantly enhances grinding efficiency compared to dry and wet conditions.
