Business Plan Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Business Plan" presents a unique set of challenges. Firstly, it
demands a comprehensive understanding of business principles, including market analysis,
financial projections, and strategic planning. Without a solid grasp of these concepts, developing
a coherent and persuasive essay becomes exceedingly difficult.
Furthermore, creating a business plan essay necessitates meticulous research. One must gather
relevant data, case studies, and real-world examples to support their arguments effectively. This
process can be time-consuming and requires discernment to sift through vast amounts of
information to find the most pertinent sources.
Moreover, articulating complex business ideas in a clear and concise manner poses another
hurdle. Balancing depth of analysis with readability is crucial to ensure that the essay resonates
with both academic and practical audiences.
Additionally, the task of structuring the essay is challenging. A well-organized essay should flow
logically, with each section building upon the last to present a cohesive argument. Achieving this
coherence requires careful planning and revision.
Lastly, writing a business plan essay demands creativity and originality. While drawing from
existing frameworks and theories is essential, synthesizing them in a novel way that adds value
to the discourse is no easy feat.
In summary, crafting an essay on this topic requires a blend of theoretical knowledge, research
skills, writing proficiency, organizational acumen, and creativity.

Themes In Jurassic World
Humans, beings of vast intelligence, are often single minded by thinking of what we
can do instead of what we should do. Michael Chriton takes this theme of
thintelligence, to the extreme in his novel Jurassic Park. Wealthy man, john
Hammond, creates dinosaurs for his theme park, which inevitably goes wrong. Colin
Trevorrow continues Chriton s ideas through another film adaptation of the book,
Jurassic world. Colin creates a well directed representation ,which honors Crichton s
novel Jurassic park, with Jurassic world. Colin does this by using foreshadowing, and
Karma along with other themes and styles.
The theme of karma is well explored in both Jurassic park and Jurassic world. Both

Foreshadowing is used in both Jurassic park and Jurassic World. The indoinus rex
was created a result of ingens genetic tamperings. Owen asks Claire what its made
from, and she says its mainly T Rex and the rest is... classified (Trevorrow, Jurassic
World). This hints that the creature is more than one animal together. Later on it is
found out that the Indominus rex has acquired the characteristics and skills from its
DNA donors. This makes the dinosaur more of a threat, as it can effectively
communicate and camouflage. Before the creature is able to break out it is shown
to preview its intelligence which rivals that of a human. InGen worker, Nick,
states It was just here as the presence of the Indominus is questioned after it has not
eaten it s food yet(Trevorrow, Jurassic World). Whilst still encaged the Indominus
is able to outsmart thermal cameras. These doors haven t been opened in weeks as
workers truly believe it is not in the cage(Trevorrow, Jurassic World). The hybrid is
briefly showing just what it is capable of, and that its not just an animal with more
teeth (Trevorrow, Jurassic World). Jurassic Worlds foreshadowing technique is
effective, Jurassic Park is also able to prove its value. There have been mysterious
injuries before the introduction of Jurassic park, which give insight to what s going

Web Site Credibility Essay
This paper examines how students determine the credibility of information derived
studies from World Wide Web sites, mainly Wikipedia, a web site encyclopedia. The
research methods applied to define credibility, its determinants, and vested interests,
contributes to the importance of establishing credibility of web site information. Two
studies, with opposing variables, conducted with college enrolled students to evaluate
differences in determining credibility. The participants in the study consisted of two
groups of universitystudents; one group with computer science and education
background and the other, solely computer science. As a result, the analyzed data
found that high credibility web sites focused on author, relevance, and education. In
contrast, unreliable web sites focused on lack of information corroboration, biases,

The paragraphs focus on web site credibility; more so, the theme flows entirely
through the writing. Klemm et al. (2001) introduces the first paragraph through
reasoning and defines exclusively the word credibility . The topic, web site
credibility, is continually influenced throughout the article. In a similar way, it relates
to the public accepting the information on the web site as what they read as certainty.
This mainly represents high numbers of people who revert to investigating what they
read are mostly college educated.
Furthermore, the Thematic style enhanced the definition to justify the possibility of
pursuing further additional credibility research varying in subjects or topics. As a
result, the areas of concern, medical, commercial, and educational are determining
factors that distinguish one study from another. In this study, they compared to

Alternative Cars And Its Effect On The Environment
Background Conventional vehicles burn fossil fuels and emit exhaust fumes to the
atmosphere. Not only have gasoline vehicles depleted natural resources, they also
have caused severe environmental pollutions, especially in some populous nations
such as China and India. [1] CO2 is the main contributor of the greenhouse effect.
97% of greenhouse emission is carbon dioxide. And in turn, road transportation has
become the largest sector in producing carbon dioxide. [2] Because of the decreasing
natural resources and the increasing environmental pollution, scientists focus more on
new technologies that can help reduce those consequences. However, even though
scientists hope hybrid cars could substitute traditional cars in order to reduce... Show

The most apparent difference is that hybrid cars have an internal combustion engine
accompanied by an electric motor. When a car is moving at a low speed, the ICE
(internal combustion engine) only provides power to the electric motor and the
motor drives the entire vehicle. Thus, an electric motor helps reduce fuel
consumption as well as car emission. Moreover, a smarter management of power
called the regenerative braking system is introduced to hybrid vehicles. It converts
kinetic energy to electrical energy during braking so that heat energy due to
friction will not be wasted. The electrical energy can be used to charge the storage
battery. [4] In addition, the aerodynamics and weight of the car body are carefully
considered so the power supplied to drive the car can be lower than usual. Hybrid
cars also have an adaptive strategy at traffic stops and idle periods. The engine shuts
down so that exhaust will not accumulate at places such as traffic stops.
Apart from technical aspects, governments also take efforts to popularize hybrid
cars for home use. In March 2013, the Chinese government extended the subsidy on
electrical and hybrid cars for three more years. [3] And in certain traffic crowded
cities such as Beijing and Hangzhou, electrical and hybrid cars have privileges on
traffic restriction days. Nevertheless, customers still won t buy hybrid cars because
they do not believe that the technology is mature enough to replace traditional ICE
cars with new energy
The Cost Of Wood Floors
Dollar for dollar, there aren t many home improvement projects that enhance the
look of your home and increase it s value like adding wood flooring. Wood
improves the appearance of any room, and a top quality, well maintained floor will
provide benefits for generations to come. In fact, the cost of woodfloors can be
amortized over decades.
Wood flooring is easy to care for, and as a rule, it doesn t show dirt or stains. Another
added benefit is that it s better for people with allergies than carpeting. If you have
children or pets, wood floors are probably a better choice than wall to wall carpeting.

Engineered wood floors are usually prefinished with several layers of urethane. And
there s a huge selection of available finishes. When installed properly, engineered
floors are virtually impossible to tell from solid wood floors.
Acrylic impregnated wood floors.
Also known as Pergo floors, acrylic impregnated wood flooring is even more durable
than solid wood flooring. In fact, because acrylic resin is baked into the material, it
s 300% harder. Because the stain is added before curing, impregnated wood floors are
also pretty color fast.
The water resistance makes it a good choice for kitchens, bathrooms and other
settings with a lot of moisture. And because it hardly shows scratches, it s also ideal
for high traffic areas that get a lot of wear.
Impregnated floors lack the sophistication and elegance of real wood floors. But they
are a less expensive, durable alternative that may be preferable to
The Flea John Donne
This quote is from John Donne s The flea .
In this quote, it stated in the beginning, lines of 1 7 exemplifies the flea sucking
the blood of the speaker and his wife. The action of the flea to suck the speaker and
his wife s blood inspired the speaker to invite his wife to engage in physical love.
The poem displays the couple s relationship before they were married, showing the
wife s refusal to interlock in physical love with him because she was afraid to lose
her honor and reputation. Her innocence jilted before marriage would cause her to
lose her acceptability and dignity. She also believed engaging physical love before
marriage was illicitly wrong and would be seen as committing an act of sin.

Analysis Of The Movie Meet The Robinsons
I believe that the film Meet the Robinsons is the best story. The reason being is
because of the illustrations and characters Walt Disney studios gives them. Also,
this story I feel relates to everyone s lives because it displays true things that
happen to people every day. One thing that this story has that makes it the best
story in my opinion is the moral of the story. It teaches us a very important moral
to Keep Moving Forward. Therefore, I feel that the story Meet the Robinsons is the
greatest story ever made. First, the plot of the story is imaginative and keeps the
viewer interested. The story is about a 12 year old orphan named Lewis at first tries
to find his real mother by creating an invention which helps him scan the user s...

Writer, Kasey Stobaugh, also tells us that it s Goob that truly makes the movie.
Old and young, I believe every single person can relate to Goob and his negative
but hopeful mindset. Let s face it: there are days where we just feel like spewing a
rant that sounds similar to; No! Everyone will tell you to let it go and move on,
but don t! Instead, let it fester and boil inside of you! Take these feelings and lock
them away. Let them fuel your actions. Let hate be your ally, and you will be
capable of wonderful, horrid things. Heed my words, Goob! Don t let it go.
(www.moviepilot.com). I personally feel I can connect to Goob because I have
also let things bother me constantly and never get over it and to try to use this as
some sort of motive for me. However, I realized that in the long run, it is not a
healthy decision to let things bother you and to hold grudges, but rather to let it go
and keep moving forward. Hence, the characters of this story are relatable to
everyone and thus makes a story that is relatable for everyone so they don t feel
that they are alone in what they are dealing with. I feel that what makes this story
the best is the moral of it. The moral of this story that Disney tries to convey to us
is to keep moving forward. Even though we may hit points in our lives where we
feel that everything is hopeless and that we should just give up, this film tells us that
we shouldn t give up as there is always another way. When Lewis s

The Blitz and St Paul s Cathedral Essay
The Blitz and St Paul s Cathedral
When the Blitz began over Britain in the fall of 1940, Londoners were frightened
and unsure of what the Nazis had in store for them. However, their uneasy emotions
would later change into feelings of nationalistic pride and perseverance, as London
became a city full of active resistors to the Nazi forces. This change would be
prompted from a variety of sources, including Winston Churchill, the media, as well
as the emergence of inspirational symbols. St. Paul s Cathedral is undoubtedly the
most powerful of these symbols, becoming a timeless image associated with the Blitz,
encapsulating sentiments of hope and courage.

At least 2,000 fires erupted and transport was disrupted for days. The attacks were
concentrated on the Fleet Street area and the West End, and over 1,200 people were
killed. The last massive attack took place during the nights of May 10 and 11, 1941.
The raid consisted of over 800 tons of explosives and produced over 2,000 fires.
Prepping the City
In order to deal with the threat of the bombing of London, the British government
took on a variety of precautions. From a militaristic standpoint, the R.A.F. bomber
force was built up in hope that fear of reprisal would keep the Germans away. But
when it came to the point that an attack was more than likely, the British government
sought to camouflage targets as best as they could. Individual targets were hidden by
smoke and paint during the day and a total blackout, over all of Britain and Northern
Ireland, was mandatory at night. The blackout made it difficult for the bombers to
find their targets and did result in a spreading out of the bombs, instead of
concentrated attacks on selected areas.
Prepping the People
With the threat of gas, high explosives, and fire, the people of London called for
protection. The British government had plans to distribute respirators even before the
war began to deal with potential gassing. As far as dealing with bombs, the
government faced a variety of problems. First, it was estimated that there would be
only seven minutes warning

The identity of the Alfa Romeo Giulia can be a bit confusing at the start but once
you take a closer look you can see the identity of the car. The car itself is
technically a rival to the BMW and Mercedes but the Alfa stands in a different
class, it is a sports saloon car that wants to be a sports car such as a Ferrari and in
many ways it achieves that. Some styling of the car is like a doubling of the Ferrari
as the interior has a look of quality from the placement of the buttons on the steering
wheel and the layout of the cabin. (Pictured below)
The Giulia has a new form of Italian blending design, which creates the appearance
and sensation inside which is crucial for communication between the car and human.
It has a sporty sense and comfortable look at the same time which is a huge identity
for the car as this is what you d expect from an Italian car

The Influence of the FLN on De Gaulle and Algeria s Independence
In 1957, French Forces were able to militarily defeat and temporarily subdue FLN.
However, to the surprise of the whole world, French President Charles De Gaulle
opted for a political solution and announced independence for the Algerians in 1962.
To what extent did the activities of FLN influence De Gaulle and what other factors
can be identified which led to his surprising decision to grant independence to
Algeria?
Introduction
1. The Algerian War of Independence (1954 62) was a period of guerrilla strikes,
maquis fighting, terrorism against civilians on both sides, and riots between the
French army and colonists in Algeria and the FLN (Front de LibГ©ration ... Show

Aim
5. To carryout a study of the activities of FLN and other contributing factors which
led to the decision by the French government to give independence to Algeria.
Sequence
6. The sequence of presentation will be:
a. PART 1 (1) Geography.
(2) Historical background.
(3) Genesis of FLN.
(4) Activities of FLN / Conduct of War.
b. PART 2. Other Contributing Factors.
(1) Diplomatic Achievements of FLN.
(2) French Weaknesses.
c. Conclusion.
PART I
Geography
7. Algeria is located in northern Africa with Mediterranean Sea on its north and
Tunisia in the northeast , Libya in the east, Niger in the southeast, Mali and
Mauritania in the southwest, Morocco and Western Sahara in the west . The country
is formally known as the People s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
8. The name Algeria is derived from the name of the city of Algiers, which in Arabic
al jazДЃ ir, translates as the islands, referring to the four islands which lay off the
coast until becoming part of the mainland in 1525.
9. About 90% of the Algerians live in the northern, coastal area; although there are
about 1.5 million people living in the southern desert most of them in oases.
Justice And Justice In Shakespeare s The Merchant Of
Venice
In Shakespeare s The Merchant of Venice, there is a conflict between two
understandings of justice justice as the letter of the law and justice as mercy.
Because this play is typically classified as a comedy, it is natural to view the trial s
ruling against Shylock as just, since this best fits in with the genre of Comedy. My
aim is to show that this interpretation is not without its problems, and is in fact
called into question by the text. I will accomplish this analyzing the legal aspects of
the court s ruling and the tribal behavior of the Venetian Christians, as well as taking
a close look at the supposed mercy shown by Antonioto Shylock. After dissecting
these ideas, I will relate them to several modern questions of justice and their
accompanying tradeoffs.
Without further ado, et us meet our plaintiff turned defendant, Shylock. While his
motives are questionable (to say the least), Shylock does remain logical in his own
defense, at one point saying:
Till thou canst rail the seal from off my bond,
Thou but offend st thy lungs to speak so loud.
Repair thy wit, good youth, or it will fall
To cureless ruin. I stand here for law.
(4.1.141 4) Here, Shylock stands firm in his argument, essentially asserting that his
right to contract is unassailable, regardless of the emotional attacks his Christian
opponents throw at him. This is quite representative of the trial as a whole: Shylock
remains dispassionate and uses sound argument, while his adversaries are emotional

The Debate Of Wisdom Literature
Introduction
Wisdom literature has long been part of the Jewish tradition with a large section of
the Old Testament devoting itself to it. Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Sirach, the
Wisdom of Solomon, and the Wisdom Psalms make up this literature. Job, dates from
the tenth century B,C and has a philosophical and theological reflection on why the
righteous suffer. The suggestion is that this is an orderly made cosmos and ultimately
all injustices will be turned to good. Proverbs, written in its final form in the third
century B.C. is a collection of aphorisms and poems within the relationship between
wisdom, righteousness and religious devotion. In tone and form wisdom literature
differs from divine revelation and is grounded in observation of and human
reflection upon experience. Furthermore, unlike the laws of the Pentateuch, which
were proposed in coming from God, and unlike the prophets, who claim to speak
the word of the Lord , on God s behalf, wisdom does not purport to be truth (Borg:
2001:148). The conventional world view of some wisdom writings is that
righteousness leads to an ordered universe.
Wisdom literature comes in two major categories: Proverbial wisdom consisting of
short, succinct sayings which provide basic rules for personal happiness and welfare.
The book of Proverbs is a classic example of this within Holy Scripture. Speculative
wisdom consists of monologues (e.g. Ecclesiastes) or dialogues (e.g. Job). This form
of wisdom literature is practical and
The Importance Of Objects In My Life
Most individuals have an object that holds a high value to them and affects their
life in one way or another. Behind each object, is a story to be told. Like most
people, I have an object in my life that I cherish dearly and will always appreciate
because of the positive effect it has on my life. The object is soft to the touch, is a
variety of colors, and can be made into a tangible object. The object is extremely
important in my life because it has taught me a life lesson that I will always
cherish and the object also reminds me of an individual that pushes me to be the
best individual I can possibly be and strive for greatness no matter the state of a
situation. I first encountered this object when I was about eight years old. I
encountered this object when I was at my grandmother s house on a Saturday. My
grandmother was sitting down underneath the porch and I was right beside her. The
view was unbelievably astonishing! Although my grandmother and I were just in
the backyard, I remember the grass, trees, and plants being greener than ever and
reflecting the light off that came from the sun. It was a beautiful day; the weather
was warm, there was a slight cool breeze, birds were chirping, and the sun was
glistening beautifully on my grandmother s skin and mine as well. When I first
encountered the object, the only people that were involved was my grandmother and
I. I patiently watched my grandmother precisely while she worked her hands with the
yarn and created
What I Have Learned From Watching Blood Diamond And
Babel
All around the world, people go on with their daily lives focusing on what is
relevant to them at that given moment. Very rarely do we stop and think about how
our actions affect someone in another part of the world, and even more rarely do we
care. Every once in a while we donate, send our prayers over Facebook, or rally
against unjust treatment and terrorism. However, what I have learned from watching
Blood Diamondand Babel is that more often than not, we unknowingly contribute to
the very instances we seek to fight against. Every action we do, especially in affluent
countries, has a global affect. In the movies, the intertwined story lines of seemingly
separated characters impressively demonstrates themes of globalizationsuch as the
effect of war and affluence, the interconnections of countries and their habitants, and
cultural differences that can lead to violence and shock. The effects that shadow
networks and war have on the world deems them astonishingly global. The most
obvious case of this is in the movie Blood Diamond. The movie takes place during
the war between the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) and the government in
Sierra Leone, West Africa. The plot follows Danny Archer, a diamond smuggler for
the powerful Van De Kaap Diamond Company as he tries to find a rare diamond.
However, the most effective and global part of the movie is how it demonstrates the
shadows that run the economy. Archer describes for a journalist, Maddie, how the
system of the shadows

Hartford Urban Observation
I decided to write this paper about two zones of Hartford, Connecticut due that I
was doing an assessment of the areas of the city for another class. A little of

consider one of the largest cities of Connecticut after Bridgeport and New Haven.
The city is located in the center of the State and has access to the principal highways

companies have their headquarter in the city.
Hartford is divided in 17 neighborhoods each of one had a diversity of cultures and

neighborhoods that impacted me and that I will describe in this paper are:

Pros And Cons Of Increasing Military Spending
Following the controversial win of this year s presidential election, President
Donald Trump s initiates his first budget proposal to be increasing military
spending. More explicitly, he not only seeks to see a sharp $56 billion dollar
increase in military spending, but also to cut funding from nonmilitary programs such
as education, poverty and the environment to name a few. This increase might not
seem like much considering that some can arguable say that an increase of military
spending can create more job opportunity and that protecting our nation at all cost
should be National Security first priority. However, if the bigger picture is being
looked at, funding from many government assistant programs like Medicaid,
Medicare, Social Security... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These people are supposed to work harder and more efficient because they believe
the government has their back. Even though there seems to be many reasons to
believe that higher military spending will bring a better life to people in a short
term, the long run of high defense spending may impede growth and development.
More precisely, high military spending tends to neglect the economy s ability meet
people s basic needs, such as food, housing, and medical services. This can be seen
first hand with trumps budget proposal. His plan, in return for the increase on
military spending, is for the same amount of money to be cut from other various
government and federal programming. Trump s budget would cut off funding
entirely for several agencies, including arts, public broadcasting and development
groups, and proposes steep cuts to agencies like the State Department and
Environmental Protection Agency , says CNN. Virtually every agency will see
some sort of cut, with only Defense, Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs getting
a boost, they added. Cutting funding from everyday needed aid programs can make
the government appear to cares less about the life of their citizens and more about
how to make a better weapon. One example is North Korea, despite being a
developing country with lower incomes
Patrons And Artist In Late Fifteenth-Century Florence
During the late Fifteenth, the number of woodcarvers were more prevalent than
butchers ( Patrons and Artist in Late 15th Century Florence ). This example indicates
that art was a more prioritized commodity than meat, which subsequently means
artists were greatly valued. People who treasured art ranged from upper class to
middle class, or lower class ( Patrons and Artist in Late 15th Century Florence). Much
of the artists that were called by patrons in the courts because their projects came
from southern Netherland cities such as: Burges, Brussels, Ghent, and Toumai
(Davies et al. 476). Apparently, the patrons harbored a lot of jealousy of the unique
status their artistic charges, that of independency in addition to the privileges

is about a publicly respectable gentleman but privately a thief and rakehell. The
novel had been considered by some people, mainly the higher ranked and
important persons of the 19th centaury, as a criticism of Victorian double morality
meaning they felt it was presenting a false image of what went on in London. They
may have also have felt that it was encouraging other people to do things
considered wrong like. This shows duality between the novel and the behaviour in
London during the 19th centaury. The novel also creates a lot of tension as you
progress through the text. It rises every time something is discovered in the
mystery of Hyde which strengthens it s the detective/mystery genre. At the
beginning all is calm but as Hyde comes to life, the tension rises. A really damnable
man this shows us how much Hyde is hated, but this also shows us where the
tension begins to rise. The tension is near enough sky high when the quotes
something wrong with his appearance and He must be deformed are used to make
the audience worry and wonder what will prevail from the mystery of Hyde. The
weather is a ladder for the tension, described as a wild, cold, seasonable night of

mysterious side of London. Although it doesn t show much duality, it does play a part
in making the novel s mystery
The Importance Of Foreign Policy In The United States
Foreign Policy is an issue that affects most, if not all, of the people in the United
States of America today. Foreign policy, for us, mainly consists of three things in our
country. We work with our allies, we help those who share the same values that we
hold dear to us, and we fight against terror, tyranny, and hatred among other countries,
and even internally within our own. Many people have different ideas of what
foreign policyis, but many can agree about the three listed above. Although, many
can also agree that our ideology and our actions can be very separate from each
other. Sometimes we say we do one thing, and do another thing that can be the polar
opposite from the 3 values listed above,

Americans have the right to vote on laws that pertain to any aspect of our country
s well being and decisions. We as voters should be making the best decisions we
can to make our country the best it can be and pave the superior path for our
children, because this issue affects them just as much, if not more, than it affects
us. Foreign policy decisions often have long lasting consequences. Even more
often, the people making those decisions won t live long enough to experience the
full effects of them. We most likely will. We will have to pay in the future for the
decisions being made today.. We are already paying through taxes for the actions
of generations before us. The costs of the war in Iraq is a big factor in our national
debt, and national debt and interest payments are rapidly increasing because of this
war and many others we take part in. The consequences for these decisions are also
hard to reverse, and our children will probably be suffering still from the decisions
that the generation befor us has
Dualism and Artificial Intelligence
Mind body dualism is usually seen as the central issue in philosophy of the mind.
The problem with mind body dualism is that it is unknown whether the mind really
is a separate entity from the human body as Descartes states in his argument, or
whether the mind is the brain itself. Descartes believed that in a person existed two
major components, the physical body and the nonphysical body which was called
the mind or soul. As a scientist, Descartes believed in mechanical theories of matter,
however, he was also very religious and did not believe people could merely be
mechanical creatures that ran like clockwork. And so, it was Descartes who argued
that the mind directed thoughts. To account for this, he split the world into two parts,

Turing, a physicalist, believed that artificial intelligence could be achieved in the
future. Turing argued that the mind was merely due to the physical aspects of the
brain and so a machine could one day be created that has a mind of its own, i.e.
artificial intelligence. He created a test called the Turing Test to determine whether a
machine has artificial intelligence. In the Turing Test, an interrogator asks two
subjects a series of questions. One of the subjects is a person, the other is the
computer. The goal is for the person to imitate a computer and the computer to imitate
the person. If the interrogator is fooled into thinking that the computer is the human
then the computer, according to Turing, is concluded to have the ability to think and
thus, have a mind. Turing argued that machines passing the Turing Test were
sufficient for ascribing thought. There were those who did not agree with Turing s
belief that computers would one day pass the Turing Test or that artificial
intelligence could be created. A philosopher by the name of Lady Lovlace challenged
Turing s theory. She argued that machines could never learn and adapt and so nothing
creative could ever come from a machine. She claimed that machines
Summary Of Utiima By Ultima
In the novel, Antonio s uncle, Lucas, was on the verge of dying due to a curse
placed upon him by witches. A priest and a doctor had tried to deal with Lucas
illness, but were unsuccessful at their attempts at doing so. It was noted that Lucas
had witnessed Tenorio s daughters performing a satanic ritual, also known as the
Black Mass . Afterwards, Lucas had tried to test whether or not Tenorio s daughters
were indeed witches, but they had ran away once they noticed a makeshift cross. As
all other measures had been taken, Lucas brother, Pedro, had asked Ultima to help.
Ultima had agreed to help, but before Ultima would attend to Uncle Lucas, she has a
confrontation with Tenorio. Within the story, the reader comes to understand that
Ultima blames the curse placed on Lucas on the daughters of Tenorio. I have come to
lift a curse. It is your daughters who do evil, that are brujas. (Bless Me, Ultima pg.39).
This upsets Tenorio, and creates an argument between the two. Ultima goes on giving
Tenorio an ultimatum if he does not try to convince his daughters to lift the curse on
Lucas. After Ultima, threatens the daughters with an ultimatum, Tenorio goes on to
call Ultima a bruja . Later in the novel, news arrives that Tenorio s daughterhas died.
Narciso had told everyone in the MГЎrez home that Tenorio and a mob were on their
way to see Ultima, as they have claimed to have found Ultima s herbal pouch under
the daughter s bed. Once the mob has arrived, it was noted that a
Workplace Violence Categories
Mathis, Jackson Valentine (2013) provide examples of workplace violence
categories as physical assault, threats, harassment, intimidation, and bullying. These
acts are deemed to be violent in nature, can be directed towards someone at work or
on duty and can be instigated by a criminal or a customer. In my company, I have yet
to witness or bear part to any form of physical assault, threats, harassment, or physical
intimidation. I view bullying as the most prevalent workplace violencein my
organization. I define bullying as an intentional violent act either physical or non
physical, against a person or a group of persons which is intended to cause

Sometimes the bully believes his or her actions are justified as a means of
climbing the corporate ladder. When the word bully is mentioned, many people
think of an aggressive, mean person. However, in my experience and from a
managerial/supervisory standpoint, most workplace bullies are actually non
aggressive (from a physical standpoint) but they are extremely aggressive from a
non physical standpoint. For example, the cunning workplace bully employs
methods of deception, misrepresentation of information and intentional misdirection
of blame onto another person. These types of deliberate acts, which are completed
in an attempt to gain power, respect or influence, in this student s opinion can be
equal to the more common form of physical bullying. Hananel (2013) reports that
non physical on the job bullying can be seen as a supervisor s verbal abuse or
threats, cruel comments or relentless teasing by a co worker. Hananel (2013) also
indicates that employers list the majority of bullying incidents as verbal abuse, such
as shouting, swearing and name calling, along with malicious gossip, rumors and

The Church Of The Martyrs
A church without youth is a church without a future. Moreover, youth without a
church is youth without a future. this is a quote from the former pope of
Alexandria, Pope Shenouda III. Pope Shenouda passed away about four years ago
and his episcopate lasted for over 40 years. The Coptic church has commonly been
referred to by historians as the Church of the Martyrs (A Brief History of the
Christian Church). It was given this name due to the desire of martyrdom rather than
the multitude of martyrs. The five main points of its history are the origins of Coptic
Orthodox Christianity, monasticism, contributions to Christendom, the ecumenical
councils and the church today. It is believed that the Coptic church of Egypt was
the first church ever created; it was founded by Saint Mark in approximately 42
AD. (Osman) Saint Mark is also considered to be the first bishop and pope of
Alexandria. However, it wasn t until the late second century when Christianity was
truly established in Egypt. During the second century the roman emperors had
begun to persecute the Coptic Orthodox Christians formerly known as Copts; yet
as previously stated these Copts would not hide, instead they would openly
worship unafraid of death, because it is said that martyrdom isn t the end of a life,
it is believed to be an entry to a new life. The very first persecution against the Copts
was in 68 AD when Saint Mark suffered martyrdom by pagan extremists. Then for
seven years in the early second century

In crop production the irrigation water is the most critical factor to enhance its
productivity and also effective use of other non water inputs. There is inefficient use
of available resources in agriculture field in Punjab province and on other hand
Punjab is encountering severe shortage of irrigation water from many decades. It is
causing much lower agriculture productivity while Punjab is highly productive
resource base of Pakistan. High efficiency irrigation systems (HEIS) resulted in
finding water and nutrient efficient options and most appropriate ways to address
various crop production related issues.
1.2.3 Types of HEIS
There are number of High efficiency irrigation system methods such as bubbler ,
drip , rain gun, center pivot , conventional sprinkler all these methods involve use
of pipes for carrying water from the source to points of use. Small emitters in form
of droplets are being used in drip or trickle irrigation which provide water to
individual plants without causing waste of water. Bubbler irrigation is as well
similar to trickle irrigation the difference is only that instead of pipe in this form of
system we use micro sprinklers mounted on small spikes. Only in rain gun irrigation
system water is being pumped at high pressure via piped system and then after
sprayed over the field.

Media Manipulation
Does Media Educate or Manipulate Racism?
Individuals can easily access so much information with a flip of a switch and by
turning to social media. The media exists to benefit our world; to study the facts, to
connect and/or to entertain its audience. Our culture in the United States is
encouraged to believe and view headlines as truth and fact; it is for this reason I
believe that news and social media has a manner of manipulating and influencing
their audience s attention. My own view is that media educates people with or
without credible knowledge, especially in the topic of racial inequality. Racism is
defined as prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a
different race based on the belief that one s own race is superior (Oxford). In the
different ways that media chooses to portray knowledge to their audience is how
media manipulates what their viewers see. The media falls short of telling the
whole story; in addition, many times they display African Americans in a negative
way. Media manipulates and pushes the agenda of the black minority, such as in the
case of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman. Although Zimmerman was of
Hispanic descent and not Caucasian, this story was widely publicized on social and
news media. The so called mainstream media rolled out ... Trayvon as the latest

Should Textbooks Replace Textbooks Essay

Textbooks should be replaced by Online Resources We live in the era of 21st century,
and it is the time to take the step in whole world with technological advances.
Nowadays, most of the children love to use the internet for many purposes, but still
they carry heavy backpacks with lots of textbooks. There are many reason for why
textbooks should be replaced by today s latest technological tools. Textbooks have
become a burden for all students across the world. As technology advances, leaning
styles have become more technology dependent which makes the students more
accustomed to technological devices. Some schools have traditional thinking that
textbooks are the only way to go perfectly, but on the other hand online resources are
more sensible alternative. School districts should replace textbooks with online
resources in order to reduce stress for the students, save the district resources, and
endure a longer period of time than textbooks. Although online resources can be
frustrating and slow if it is overloaded with applications, they are much easier to
use for a student. Textbooks pressurize considerable weight on a student s back; as
a result, it leads to medical conditions such as scoliosis. The most important reason
for what young children have back pains is to carry heavy backpack with heavy
textbooks. As stated by Daily Herald, Kids who wear their backpacks over one
shoulder as many do,

He was elected into office during the Vietnam War, which was a big problem at the
beginning of his presidency. He took many steps to ensure the war would end.
President Nixon used a process called Vietnamization , as Rebecca Stefoff called it
in her book, Richard M. Nixon . This is where Nixon replaced American troops
fighting in North Vietnam with South Vietnamese troops. It was a very slow
process, but it worked. Nixon made negotiations with Paris to help him get the
United States out of the war as well. He also dropped bombs on North Vietnam and
its innocent neighboring countries, Cambodia and Laos. He did this to take out any
base camps set up around the outside of Vietnam that might have supported North
Vietnam during the war. This helped to end the war and Nixon made his first big
step as president of the United States of America.
At the end of his first term, Richard Nixon did something our nation will never
forget. He was part of the Republican party and wanted information about the
upcoming 1972 election. Nixon decided to send spies in the Watergate building, in
Washington D.C., to plant a bug so he could know the Democratic party s plans. He
thought this would ensure a win, but was he ready for what was to come? The
Watergate Scandal became well known throughout America. It led many Americans to

These tribes work to become the best to differentiate themselves as a tribe , but
they are overlooked because it is not how they become the best it is how they
become their best selves. The way soccer teams do this is by using their skills.
Maybe they are faster so they will show it through that or maybe they are stronger
and taller so they will use that to become the best. This is how they see the world
becoming the best selves so they can succeed in life. These people treat each other
with kindness. The older you are on the soccer team the more respect you get. This

Analysis Of Slavery In Beloved By Toni Morrison
Until its abolition , slavery made it legal to own another human being. Families were
torn apart, millions had their unalienable rights stripped down to nothing, and black
children were sold almost at birth. Beloved, by Toni Morrison, delves deep into the
many dark facets of slavery. Through the main character (Sethe s) experiences both in
slavery, and in freedom, the reader learns firsthand what it was like for the slaves at
Sweethome, and the lengths Sethe would go through to insure her family s
departure from slavery altogether. Most of all, Morrison demonstrates how through
dehumanization of Sethe, Paul D, and Halle, slavery caused the main characters to
lose the connection with who they truly were before experiencing slavery. Whether
evaluating Paul D s tin can heart, the way Sethe closed herself off from other
people, or the events that caused Halle to smear butter on his face, it is clear that
slavery induced major psychological changes in the main characters of Morrison s
shady tale.
What caused Paul D to lose connection with himself began when his slave owner,
schoolteacher, stripped him of all sense of ego, in other words he took away any
sense of self importance, confidence, and self esteem that Paul D possessed. This
concept can be seen on page 86 when he discusses the old rooster at Sweet Home,

What Is The Theme Of War Is Kind By Stephen Crane
In his poem, War is Kind, Stephen Crane strongly exemplifies and criticizes the
effects of war on those indirect victims from an ironic perspective. The poem
begins with the speaker telling a woman not to cry for her lover who has died in
the war; he tells a child and a mother the same sentence. Through the poem, the
speaker tells the readers in an ironic tone why the war is good; he remembers the
battlefield, the drums, and the trenches. In each of these images, readers can
appreciate that the war is not as good as the speaker suggests and that those who
have lost loved ones on the battlefield cannot see the glory and goodness that
speaker gives to war. During the development of the poem, the speaker tells over and
over again to the relatives... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
War is kind tirelessly repeats the speaker throughout the 26 verses of this poem.
However, the speaker also remembers the battlefield, but not in a happy or heroic
way. When the speaker remembers the battlefield, he indicates that it is a place
where a thousand corpses lie (XXX). This description of the battlefield creates a
visual image of terror and rejection; an image that reminds readers that in war it is
not all happiness and honor, but death lurks around every corner. This image of the
battlefield reinforces the ironic tone of the poem that on the one hand says that
the war is good and kind, but, on the other side, it emphasizes the atrocities that the
soldiers suffer. This image of the battlefield full of dead people is an
exemplification of the cruelty and fatality that the war provokes on soldier s lives.
Moreover, in the poem, the speaker reinforces this image by indicating, point for
them the virtue of slaughter / make plain to them the excellence of killing (20 21).
In these verses, the speaker reinforces that image of atrocity in the battlefields and
points out how in the army, in many cases, these massacres are not only justified but

It was found in one instance that certain markets that Barclaycard are in have
potential to grow substantially but are currently performing poorly due to the need
for extensive investment. This for the time being is not the ideal strategy as the
organization needs to embrace a complete paradigm shift in strategy direction. 3.
Justifications Justifying the recommendations Justification of the recommendations
is a vital part in this analysis of Barclaycard especially considering the triple loop
(emergent) approach that formed the basis for the development and execution of the
strategies developed. As it was found in one instance, the current developments in
2003 have created several new technology based solutions for banking services.
Considering the emergent approach one again means that this is the nature of
strategy that Barclaycard must consider carefully as it presents a completely new
direction for the organization. 4. Action Plan Producing a timetable of events in order

How Did Ethan Arnold Capture Fort Ticonderoga
Swiftly and stealthy the Green Mountain Boys, under the command of Ethan Allen
and Benedict Arnold, captured Fort Ticonderoga from the British on May 10, 1775.
This decisive victory and plundering of the fort gave the colonial troops much needed
supplies and control of a British strategic position. The capturing of Fort Ticonderoga
played a key role in stopping supply lines, cutting British communications, plundering
artillery and munition, and capturing other forts and ships around Lake Champlain.
On the night of May 9th 200 Green Mountain Boys assembled under Ethan Allen and
Benedict Arnold to capture Fort Ticonderoga. However only a small portion of the
men could cross the lake to capture the fort as there weren t enough boats for all the
men. Fearful of losing the element of surprise Allen and Arnold decided to attack
with their small force. With only one sentry on duty the colonists stormed the fort
waking the men at gunpoint and disarming them. The captain was roused from his
chambers and surrendered his sword peacefully, with nobody dying during the assault.

The British used this route to send supplies and men to New York from Quebec.
The colonists sieging Boston were concerned with reinforcements coming from
Quebec to attack their exposed rear. This was the first reason the idea of capturing
the fort would prove useful. After the forts capture, colonial forces were in control of
a water highway that led directly into the heart of Quebec. The fort proved to be an
important staging ground for the subsequent battles that were to rally Quebec for

Environmental Influence On Native American Culture
Environment shaped the Native American culture. The Ice Age occurring 35,000
years ago shaped oceans into glaciers, lowered sea level, and most importantly
exposed the land bridge from Eurasia (Siberia) to North America (Alaska). In this
way, nomads (Asian Hunters) were able to cross the American continent for 250
centuries and inhabit North and South America into countless tribes, diverse cultures,
and evolving over 2,000 separate languages. The difference of environment shaped
diverse Native cultures as those residing in the Great Plains (Pueblos) settled into
agricultural villages meanwhile tribes situated in mountainous regions (Iroquois)
conformed to nomadic hunting.

Although strong tensions between the Natives and Europeans caused mass death
over both populations, other commodities can take the blame for the Native s
demise. Alongside the animals and plants Europeans brought from Europe, ominous
germs were also carried in their travels to the New World. This caused an epidemic
of smallpox, yellow fever, and malaria within the Native American population, who
were not immune to the maladies. Within 50 years, 1 million of Taino natives in
Hispaniola dwindled to 200. A century after Columbus s arrival, over 90% of the
Native population died following ancient cultures that soon became extinct.
Natives provided laboratories for testing techniques, overwhelming the advanced
natives of Mexico and Peru. The encomienda system is the Spanish government s
policy to provide the colonists with Indians with the condition to Christianize them.
As a result, the Spanish were able to subjugate native tribes in the North American
mainland and on the West Indies. At dismay against the encomienda system,

Counseling Is The Application Of Mental Health,...
Counseling is the application of mental health, psychological, or human development
principles through cognitive, effective, behavioral or systematic intervention
strategies that address wellness, personal growth, or career development, as well as
pathology (Alabama Counseling Association, 1997). It is a method of identifying
practical solution to an identified problem. The common problems are family
problems, personal problems, educational, lack of motivation, vocational problems,
financial problems, and health problems. According to a study by Kaplan, Tarvydas
Gladding (2014), they have come up with a new consensus definition of counseling
which is Counseling is a professional relationship that empowers diverse individuals,
families, and groups to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career
goals. The Japanese Association of Counseling (JACS) science defines counseling

It is not a remedy for all problems at a single instance. There are factors to consider
in counseling. During counseling sessions, two persons are present, the process
leads to action on the part of the client, the counselor listens and the client will soon
develop her own insights and find their own solutions that will result to personal
growth of the client. In most cases, it takes a number of sessions before the
counseling starts to make a difference, and a regular commitment is needed to make
the best use of the therapy. There are instances where counseling is offered when a
relationship is primarily focused on other, non counseling concerns. A student may
use a teacher as a person with whom it is safe to share worries. In such a situation,
the teacher uses counseling skills, but does not engage in an actual counseling
relationship. The teacher counsels but is not a counselor (UNESCO,
Importance Of School Counseling
According to the American School Counselor Association (ASCA), Today s school
counselors are vital members of the education team. They help all students in the
areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development,
ensuring today s students become the productive, well adjusted adults of tomorrow
(2017). The definition of a school counselorhas changed throughout the years. There
has been a shift from guidance/vocational counseling to a more well rounded
approach. Moving from guidance to counseling, means different job duties and
educational obstacles. Not only do the job responsibilities include career
development, social/emotional development, and academic achievement; included in
this change is focus on student s mental health. With the advancement of this career
to the mental health field, comes with educating stakeholders on the difference. One
way to do this is by producing evidence that counseling techniques work in a
language that most stakeholders understand: academics. The money a public school
receives correlates largely with achievement. If the students do well academically,
the school becomes more attractive. Salaries are better; therefore, more qualified
teachers apply and communities become more enticing to tax paying citizens. Just
the opposite, schools that perform poorly academically have higher poverty level,
lower teacher experience, and less money paid per student by the state in which it
resides. All of this
Comparing The Owl And The Pussy-Cat
The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear have got to be every child s favorite
poem! It is filled with rhymes, meter and assonance that aid to give it an elegant
flow. The Owl and Pussy Cat s marriage is symbolized by the ring as the whole
poem is about their hunt for the perfect one. This poem speaks of marriage as well
as conveys the feelings of joy and love through its sound. The poem The Owl and
the Pussy Cat exceed all others due to its exceptional use of rhyme, meter,
assonance and symbolism to portray an overjoy love between two animals. Lear
uses rhyme throughout The Owl and the Pussy Cat to help enhance the joyous tone
of the poem. Rhyme is evident in the lines that follow, They took some honey, and
plenty of money (Lear, 3). The simple rhyming of honey and money intensifies the
playfulness of the joyous rhyme. Another exceptional example of rhyme is
palpable in the lines Pussy said to the Owl, You elegant fowl! (Lear, 12). As bizarre
as his choice of diction is to rhyme owl with fowl, Lear does it in a way that does not
make it awkward. All the above are examples that contribute to an overall successful
rhyming scheme that delivers joy and enthusiasm to the reader. When rhyming it is
evident that he also takes meter into consideration.... Show more content on

For instance, in the phrase You are! (Lear, 10), are is stressed while you is not. By
Lear adding examples of meter like this, it enhances the rhyming scheme. In addition,
stanza three contains the line The moon (Lear, 32) which also displays meter. Moon
is stressed while the is not. The above examples strengthen the joyous rhythmic
feeling that is associated with marriage. It is clear to say that rhythm and meter both
contribute to the overall tone of The Owl and the
Prostate Cancer In Men Essay
Long waist men have a higher risk of developing more aggressive types of prostate
cancer, a new study suggests.
A survey of 140,000 men in eight European countries showed that 10 cm more in
abdominal circumference would increase the chances of developing cancer by 13
percent.
The largest group at risk, however, was men with a waistline greater than 94 cm,
according to the Oxford University study in England.
Prostate cancer is the most common in men.
The study, which was presented at the European Obesity Summit in Gothenburg,
Sweden, examined the association between 50 year old male body measurements and
the risk of prostate cancer at 14 years.
During the period, there were about 7,000 cases of prostate cancer, of which 934
were fatal.
The researchers found that men with a high ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

With bloodbath and commotion postings, cops have seen celebrities on social
networks. Scientists have also noted a higher risk of death from prostate cancer with
higher BMI and waist circumference.
Aurora PГ©rez Cornago of the University of Oxford said the study showed that the
association between body size and prostate cancer is complex and varies according
to the aggressiveness of the disease.
According to her, the big villains would be the cancer causing hormones present in
fat cells, but this has not yet been proven.
Survey showed that 10 cm more in the abdominal circumference would increase the
chances of developing more aggressive type of the disease in 13%.
But she added that the study did not specifically analyze the impact of weight loss on
the risk of prostate cancer.
A spokesperson for Prostate Cancer UK, the largest male health NGO
Thea Cunningham of the Cancer Research UK NGO, which is dedicated to research
on the disease, says more studies are needed to prove the association between waist
circumference and the risk of developing prostate
Ohio And Erie Scandal In Cleveland
OHIO AND ERIE CANAL (CLEVLAND)3 In the years before 1830 Cleveland was
not yet considered a city as it is known today. No crowded streets, no traffic, no
skyscrapers, or residential neighborhoods. Cleveland was only a small village. In
1824, Cleveland was a town with nine stores and three taverns (Miller, 1997; Wheeler
1997). Since the village was so small everyone knew each other. Cleveland served
mainly as a meeting place for local farmers. Farmers sent their produce to Buffalo
and New York City. It was anticipated that the population would grow to 500
citizens by 1825. Why was this drastic change going to happen? The State of Ohio
had made a very important decision in 1825. The State had decided to locate the

`` Piano `` By D. H. Lawrence And Traveling Through The
Dark
D. H. Lawrence, and English writer, and William Stafford, an American writer lived
and wrote at different times but their subject matter is often similar. Piano written by
D. H. Lawrence and Traveling through the Dark by William Stafford demonstrate
remarkable similarity, each written about experiences that describe emotions,
however in very different ways. Although Lawrence and Stafford are both respected
poets, their writing styles, and expectations for readers differ significantly. While
Lawrence maintains a feeling of nostalgia and remembrances to keep the readers
attention, Stafford s structure includes a bit of darkness and suspense for his readers.
These astute writers are similar in many ways, but they have one significant difference
. The authors messages and delivery set them apart. Lawrence and Stafford were
kind of rebels in the literary field. One of Lawrence s most famous novels, Lady
Chatterly s Lover defied censorship and was banned from America until the late
1950 s. Piano does not fit into the same mold, it is a sentimental and loving poem.
Critics often refer to Stafford as a pacifist and a conscientious objector during the
war. Traveling through the Dark follows the general style used in his poetry. He often
delivers messages that are direct and bold. Both poets were teachers at one point in
their lives. Each one wrote using deceptively simple language and ideas. Upon
looking at these two poems, the reader automatically sees
How Does Clear Liquid Affect The Rate Of Evaporation
Rates
This is my research report on my science project. My topic is What Clear liquid
affects the rate of evaporation. I chose this topic because I wasn t able to choose a
project I wanted to do. So I looked through the list and saw this topic. Then
suddenly I think back to a wet afternoon and very cold a few years ago. That
morning I saw a puddle of water and when I came back it was half way drained
down. So i thought back to that moment long ago which I still remember. And so
not only I needed a project, I also was a little interested into this topic. I was also
interested into rates of evaporationwhen I saw this question. The question i d be
answering is What clear liquidhas a faster evaporation rate.
For the independent Variable, we re changing one of the liquids to something
different. We re changing hydrogen peroxide to Nail Polish remover. we ll be
keeping water, alcohol, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We ll measure how long each liquid evaporates at room temperature. So each liquid
won t evaporate faster just because of the temperature. Each liquid has a different
evaporation rate. Evaporation occurs when a liquid is sitting in a spot for too
long. The evaporation rate of a liquid is affected of what type of liquid it is. And
the temperature of what the liquid is sitting in. Such as a puddle sitting in 100
Degrees Fahrenheit. The puddle will evaporate faster because it is in a hot
environment. Evaporation can also happen when it s cold. However heat makes
the liquid evaporate faster. I did a lot of research, and based on a lot of sites. Some
say Nail polish remover evaporates faster than alcohol. While some say Alcohol is
faster than nail polish remover. So i ll say nail polish remover is going to be faster.
If i leave nail polish out then it will evaporate the fastest. Because nail polish contains
acetone which makes its molecules evaporate faster to
Closing the Gender Gap in Agriculture
Closing the gender gap in agriculture is a critical component of improving lives and
reducing hunger in developing countries. If female farmers had the same access to
resources as males do, they could increase the yields on their farms by 20 30
percent. This could raise the total agricultural output in developing countries by 2.5
4 percent, which could then reduce the number of food insecure people by 12 17
percent. (FAO, 2011) Women in developing countries lack access to productive
resources and opportunities such as land, livestock, labor education financial services
and technology, which leaves women unable to participate in fair rural labor markets.
This genderdiscrimination harms the ability of women in rural communities to
support themselves and their families and decreases the efficiency of the work they
do, leaving them unable to find time to engage in productive activities outside of
food production and preparation. One in eight people in the world are suffering from
chronic hunger and sixty percent of the world s hungry are female. There are
approximately 168.4 million more women than men who are regularly not getting
enough food to lead an active life. Though the number of hungry is 17 percent lower
than the total number of undernourished reported in 1990 92, there are significant
differences is the amount of improvement among regions. Of the 842 million people
suffering from hunger, 827 million live in developing countries. One in three children

Business Plan Essay

  • 1. Business Plan Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of "Business Plan" presents a unique set of challenges. Firstly, it demands a comprehensive understanding of business principles, including market analysis, financial projections, and strategic planning. Without a solid grasp of these concepts, developing a coherent and persuasive essay becomes exceedingly difficult. Furthermore, creating a business plan essay necessitates meticulous research. One must gather relevant data, case studies, and real-world examples to support their arguments effectively. This process can be time-consuming and requires discernment to sift through vast amounts of information to find the most pertinent sources. Moreover, articulating complex business ideas in a clear and concise manner poses another hurdle. Balancing depth of analysis with readability is crucial to ensure that the essay resonates with both academic and practical audiences. Additionally, the task of structuring the essay is challenging. A well-organized essay should flow logically, with each section building upon the last to present a cohesive argument. Achieving this coherence requires careful planning and revision. Lastly, writing a business plan essay demands creativity and originality. While drawing from existing frameworks and theories is essential, synthesizing them in a novel way that adds value to the discourse is no easy feat. In summary, crafting an essay on this topic requires a blend of theoretical knowledge, research skills, writing proficiency, organizational acumen, and creativity. • 2. Themes In Jurassic World Humans, beings of vast intelligence, are often single minded by thinking of what we can do instead of what we should do. Michael Chriton takes this theme of thintelligence, to the extreme in his novel Jurassic Park. Wealthy man, john Hammond, creates dinosaurs for his theme park, which inevitably goes wrong. Colin Trevorrow continues Chriton s ideas through another film adaptation of the book, Jurassic world. Colin creates a well directed representation ,which honors Crichton s novel Jurassic park, with Jurassic world. Colin does this by using foreshadowing, and Karma along with other themes and styles. The theme of karma is well explored in both Jurassic park and Jurassic world. Both (scripts) use antagonistic characters who meet ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Foreshadowing is used in both Jurassic park and Jurassic World. The indoinus rex was created a result of ingens genetic tamperings. Owen asks Claire what its made from, and she says its mainly T Rex and the rest is... classified (Trevorrow, Jurassic World). This hints that the creature is more than one animal together. Later on it is found out that the Indominus rex has acquired the characteristics and skills from its DNA donors. This makes the dinosaur more of a threat, as it can effectively communicate and camouflage. Before the creature is able to break out it is shown to preview its intelligence which rivals that of a human. InGen worker, Nick, states It was just here as the presence of the Indominus is questioned after it has not eaten it s food yet(Trevorrow, Jurassic World). Whilst still encaged the Indominus is able to outsmart thermal cameras. These doors haven t been opened in weeks as workers truly believe it is not in the cage(Trevorrow, Jurassic World). The hybrid is briefly showing just what it is capable of, and that its not just an animal with more teeth (Trevorrow, Jurassic World). Jurassic Worlds foreshadowing technique is effective, Jurassic Park is also able to prove its value. There have been mysterious injuries before the introduction of Jurassic park, which give insight to what s going on behind the scenes. A young worker is injured on duty ,and needs immediate medical
  • 3. Web Site Credibility Essay This paper examines how students determine the credibility of information derived studies from World Wide Web sites, mainly Wikipedia, a web site encyclopedia. The research methods applied to define credibility, its determinants, and vested interests, contributes to the importance of establishing credibility of web site information. Two studies, with opposing variables, conducted with college enrolled students to evaluate differences in determining credibility. The participants in the study consisted of two groups of universitystudents; one group with computer science and education background and the other, solely computer science. As a result, the analyzed data found that high credibility web sites focused on author, relevance, and education. In contrast, unreliable web sites focused on lack of information corroboration, biases, and personal... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The paragraphs focus on web site credibility; more so, the theme flows entirely through the writing. Klemm et al. (2001) introduces the first paragraph through reasoning and defines exclusively the word credibility . The topic, web site credibility, is continually influenced throughout the article. In a similar way, it relates to the public accepting the information on the web site as what they read as certainty. This mainly represents high numbers of people who revert to investigating what they read are mostly college educated. Furthermore, the Thematic style enhanced the definition to justify the possibility of pursuing further additional credibility research varying in subjects or topics. • 4. Alternative Cars And Its Effect On The Environment Background Conventional vehicles burn fossil fuels and emit exhaust fumes to the atmosphere. Not only have gasoline vehicles depleted natural resources, they also have caused severe environmental pollutions, especially in some populous nations such as China and India. [1] CO2 is the main contributor of the greenhouse effect. 97% of greenhouse emission is carbon dioxide. And in turn, road transportation has become the largest sector in producing carbon dioxide. [2] Because of the decreasing natural resources and the increasing environmental pollution, scientists focus more on new technologies that can help reduce those consequences. However, even though scientists hope hybrid cars could substitute traditional cars in order to reduce... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The most apparent difference is that hybrid cars have an internal combustion engine accompanied by an electric motor. When a car is moving at a low speed, the ICE (internal combustion engine) only provides power to the electric motor and the motor drives the entire vehicle. Thus, an electric motor helps reduce fuel consumption as well as car emission. Moreover, a smarter management of power called the regenerative braking system is introduced to hybrid vehicles. It converts kinetic energy to electrical energy during braking so that heat energy due to friction will not be wasted. The electrical energy can be used to charge the storage battery. [4] In addition, the aerodynamics and weight of the car body are carefully considered so the power supplied to drive the car can be lower than usual. Hybrid cars also have an adaptive strategy at traffic stops and idle periods. The engine shuts down so that exhaust will not accumulate at places such as traffic stops. Apart from technical aspects, governments also take efforts to popularize hybrid cars for home use. In March 2013, the Chinese government extended the subsidy on electrical and hybrid cars for three more years. [3] And in certain traffic crowded cities such as Beijing and Hangzhou, electrical and hybrid cars have privileges on traffic restriction days. Nevertheless, customers still won t buy hybrid cars because they do not believe that the technology is mature enough to replace traditional ICE cars with new energy
  • 5. The Cost Of Wood Floors Dollar for dollar, there aren t many home improvement projects that enhance the look of your home and increase it s value like adding wood flooring. Wood improves the appearance of any room, and a top quality, well maintained floor will provide benefits for generations to come. In fact, the cost of woodfloors can be amortized over decades. Wood flooring is easy to care for, and as a rule, it doesn t show dirt or stains. Another added benefit is that it s better for people with allergies than carpeting. If you have children or pets, wood floors are probably a better choice than wall to wall carpeting. These days, the choices are almost endless. But basically, there are three kinds of wood floors. To determine which type is best for your home,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It won t warp and since it can be glued, stapled, or floated, it can be installed virtually anywhere. Engineered wood floors are usually prefinished with several layers of urethane. And there s a huge selection of available finishes. When installed properly, engineered floors are virtually impossible to tell from solid wood floors. Acrylic impregnated wood floors. Also known as Pergo floors, acrylic impregnated wood flooring is even more durable than solid wood flooring. In fact, because acrylic resin is baked into the material, it s 300% harder. Because the stain is added before curing, impregnated wood floors are also pretty color fast. The water resistance makes it a good choice for kitchens, bathrooms and other settings with a lot of moisture. And because it hardly shows scratches, it s also ideal for high traffic areas that get a lot of wear. Impregnated floors lack the sophistication and elegance of real wood floors. But they are a less expensive, durable alternative that may be preferable to
  • 6. The Flea John Donne This quote is from John Donne s The flea . In this quote, it stated in the beginning, lines of 1 7 exemplifies the flea sucking the blood of the speaker and his wife. The action of the flea to suck the speaker and his wife s blood inspired the speaker to invite his wife to engage in physical love. The poem displays the couple s relationship before they were married, showing the wife s refusal to interlock in physical love with him because she was afraid to lose her honor and reputation. Her innocence jilted before marriage would cause her to lose her acceptability and dignity. She also believed engaging physical love before marriage was illicitly wrong and would be seen as committing an act of sin. In the following
  • 7. Analysis Of The Movie Meet The Robinsons I believe that the film Meet the Robinsons is the best story. The reason being is because of the illustrations and characters Walt Disney studios gives them. Also, this story I feel relates to everyone s lives because it displays true things that happen to people every day. One thing that this story has that makes it the best story in my opinion is the moral of the story. It teaches us a very important moral to Keep Moving Forward. Therefore, I feel that the story Meet the Robinsons is the greatest story ever made. First, the plot of the story is imaginative and keeps the viewer interested. The story is about a 12 year old orphan named Lewis at first tries to find his real mother by creating an invention which helps him scan the user s... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Writer, Kasey Stobaugh, also tells us that it s Goob that truly makes the movie. Old and young, I believe every single person can relate to Goob and his negative but hopeful mindset. Let s face it: there are days where we just feel like spewing a rant that sounds similar to; No! Everyone will tell you to let it go and move on, but don t! Instead, let it fester and boil inside of you! Take these feelings and lock them away. Let them fuel your actions. Let hate be your ally, and you will be capable of wonderful, horrid things. Heed my words, Goob! Don t let it go. (www.moviepilot.com). I personally feel I can connect to Goob because I have also let things bother me constantly and never get over it and to try to use this as some sort of motive for me. However, I realized that in the long run, it is not a healthy decision to let things bother you and to hold grudges, but rather to let it go and keep moving forward. Hence, the characters of this story are relatable to everyone and thus makes a story that is relatable for everyone so they don t feel that they are alone in what they are dealing with. I feel that what makes this story the best is the moral of it. The moral of this story that Disney tries to convey to us is to keep moving forward. Even though we may hit points in our lives where we feel that everything is hopeless and that we should just give up, this film tells us that we shouldn t give up as there is always another way. When Lewis s

  • 9. The Blitz and St Paul s Cathedral Essay The Blitz and St Paul s Cathedral When the Blitz began over Britain in the fall of 1940, Londoners were frightened and unsure of what the Nazis had in store for them. However, their uneasy emotions would later change into feelings of nationalistic pride and perseverance, as London became a city full of active resistors to the Nazi forces. This change would be prompted from a variety of sources, including Winston Churchill, the media, as well as the emergence of inspirational symbols. St. Paul s Cathedral is undoubtedly the most powerful of these symbols, becoming a timeless image associated with the Blitz, encapsulating sentiments of hope and courage. The attacks were concentrated on the Fleet Street area and the West End, and over 1,200 people were killed. The last massive attack took place during the nights of May 10 and 11, 1941. The raid consisted of over 800 tons of explosives and produced over 2,000 fires. Prepping the City In order to deal with the threat of the bombing of London, the British government took on a variety of precautions. From a militaristic standpoint, the R.A.F. bomber force was built up in hope that fear of reprisal would keep the Germans away. But when it came to the point that an attack was more than likely, the British government sought to camouflage targets as best as they could. Individual targets were hidden by smoke and paint during the day and a total blackout, over all of Britain and Northern Ireland, was mandatory at night. The blackout made it difficult for the bombers to find their targets and did result in a spreading out of the bombs, instead of concentrated attacks on selected areas. Prepping the People With the threat of gas, high explosives, and fire, the people of London called for protection. The British government had plans to distribute respirators even before the war began to deal with potential gassing. As far as dealing with bombs, the government faced a variety of problems. First, it was estimated that there would be only seven minutes warning

The Influence of the FLN on De Gaulle and Algeria s Independence In 1957, French Forces were able to militarily defeat and temporarily subdue FLN. However, to the surprise of the whole world, French President Charles De Gaulle opted for a political solution and announced independence for the Algerians in 1962. Justice And Justice In Shakespeare s The Merchant Of Venice In Shakespeare s The Merchant of Venice, there is a conflict between two understandings of justice justice as the letter of the law and justice as mercy. Because this play is typically classified as a comedy, it is natural to view the trial s ruling against Shylock as just, since this best fits in with the genre of Comedy. My aim is to show that this interpretation is not without its problems, and is in fact called into question by the text. I will accomplish this analyzing the legal aspects of the court s ruling and the tribal behavior of the Venetian Christians, as well as taking a close look at the supposed mercy shown by Antonioto Shylock. After dissecting these ideas, I will relate them to several modern questions of justice and their accompanying tradeoffs. Without further ado, et us meet our plaintiff turned defendant, Shylock. While his motives are questionable (to say the least), Shylock does remain logical in his own defense, at one point saying: Till thou canst rail the seal from off my bond, Thou but offend st thy lungs to speak so loud. Repair thy wit, good youth, or it will fall To cureless ruin. I stand here for law. (4.1.141 4) Here, Shylock stands firm in his argument, essentially asserting that his right to contract is unassailable, regardless of the emotional attacks his Christian opponents throw at him. This is quite representative of the trial as a whole: Shylock remains dispassionate and uses sound argument, while his adversaries are emotional and
  • 14. The Debate Of Wisdom Literature Introduction Wisdom literature has long been part of the Jewish tradition with a large section of the Old Testament devoting itself to it. Job, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Sirach, the Wisdom of Solomon, and the Wisdom Psalms make up this literature. Job, dates from the tenth century B,C and has a philosophical and theological reflection on why the righteous suffer. The suggestion is that this is an orderly made cosmos and ultimately all injustices will be turned to good. Proverbs, written in its final form in the third century B.C. is a collection of aphorisms and poems within the relationship between wisdom, righteousness and religious devotion. In tone and form wisdom literature differs from divine revelation and is grounded in observation of and human reflection upon experience. Furthermore, unlike the laws of the Pentateuch, which were proposed in coming from God, and unlike the prophets, who claim to speak the word of the Lord , on God s behalf, wisdom does not purport to be truth (Borg: 2001:148). The conventional world view of some wisdom writings is that righteousness leads to an ordered universe. Wisdom literature comes in two major categories: Proverbial wisdom consisting of short, succinct sayings which provide basic rules for personal happiness and welfare. The book of Proverbs is a classic example of this within Holy Scripture. Speculative wisdom consists of monologues (e.g. Ecclesiastes) or dialogues (e.g. Job). This form of wisdom literature is practical and

Like most people, I have an object in my life that I cherish dearly and will always appreciate because of the positive effect it has on my life. The object is soft to the touch, is a variety of colors, and can be made into a tangible object. The object is extremely important in my life because it has taught me a life lesson that I will always cherish and the object also reminds me of an individual that pushes me to be the best individual I can possibly be and strive for greatness no matter the state of a situation. I first encountered this object when I was about eight years old. I encountered this object when I was at my grandmother s house on a Saturday. My grandmother was sitting down underneath the porch and I was right beside her. The view was unbelievably astonishing! Although my grandmother and I were just in the backyard, I remember the grass, trees, and plants being greener than ever and reflecting the light off that came from the sun. It was a beautiful day; the weather was warm, there was a slight cool breeze, birds were chirping, and the sun was glistening beautifully on my grandmother s skin and mine as well. When I first encountered the object, the only people that were involved was my grandmother and I. I patiently watched my grandmother precisely while she worked her hands with the yarn and created

Very rarely do we stop and think about how our actions affect someone in another part of the world, and even more rarely do we care. Every once in a while we donate, send our prayers over Facebook, or rally against unjust treatment and terrorism. However, what I have learned from watching Blood Diamondand Babel is that more often than not, we unknowingly contribute to the very instances we seek to fight against. Every action we do, especially in affluent countries, has a global affect. In the movies, the intertwined story lines of seemingly separated characters impressively demonstrates themes of globalizationsuch as the effect of war and affluence, the interconnections of countries and their habitants, and cultural differences that can lead to violence and shock. The effects that shadow networks and war have on the world deems them astonishingly global. The most obvious case of this is in the movie Blood Diamond. The movie takes place during the war between the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) and the government in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The plot follows Danny Archer, a diamond smuggler for the powerful Van De Kaap Diamond Company as he tries to find a rare diamond. However, the most effective and global part of the movie is how it demonstrates the shadows that run the economy. Archer describes for a journalist, Maddie, how the system of the shadows

They may have also have felt that it was encouraging other people to do things considered wrong like. This shows duality between the novel and the behaviour in London during the 19th centaury. The problem with mind body dualism is that it is unknown whether the mind really is a separate entity from the human body as Descartes states in his argument, or whether the mind is the brain itself. Descartes believed that in a person existed two major components, the physical body and the nonphysical body which was called the mind or soul. As a scientist, Descartes believed in mechanical theories of matter, however, he was also very religious and did not believe people could merely be mechanical creatures that ran like clockwork. Turing, a physicalist, believed that artificial intelligence could be achieved in the future. Turing argued that the mind was merely due to the physical aspects of the brain and so a machine could one day be created that has a mind of its own, i.e. artificial intelligence. He created a test called the Turing Test to determine whether a machine has artificial intelligence. In the Turing Test, an interrogator asks two subjects a series of questions. One of the subjects is a person, the other is the computer. The goal is for the person to imitate a computer and the computer to imitate the person. If the interrogator is fooled into thinking that the computer is the human then the computer, according to Turing, is concluded to have the ability to think and thus, have a mind. Turing argued that machines passing the Turing Test were sufficient for ascribing thought. There were those who did not agree with Turing s belief that computers would one day pass the Turing Test or that artificial intelligence could be created. A philosopher by the name of Lady Lovlace challenged Turing s theory. She argued that machines could never learn and adapt and so nothing creative could ever come from a machine. She claimed that machines

Pope Shenouda passed away about four years ago and his episcopate lasted for over 40 years. The Coptic church has commonly been referred to by historians as the Church of the Martyrs (A Brief History of the Christian Church). It was given this name due to the desire of martyrdom rather than the multitude of martyrs. The five main points of its history are the origins of Coptic Orthodox Christianity, monasticism, contributions to Christendom, the ecumenical councils and the church today. It is believed that the Coptic church of Egypt was the first church ever created; it was founded by Saint Mark in approximately 42 AD. The media exists to benefit our world; to study the facts, to connect and/or to entertain its audience. Our culture in the United States is encouraged to believe and view headlines as truth and fact; it is for this reason I believe that news and social media has a manner of manipulating and influencing their audience s attention. My own view is that media educates people with or without credible knowledge, especially in the topic of racial inequality. Racism is defined as prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one s own race is superior (Oxford). In the different ways that media chooses to portray knowledge to their audience is how media manipulates what their viewers see. The media falls short of telling the whole story; in addition, many times they display African Americans in a negative way. As technology advances, leaning styles have become more technology dependent which makes the students more accustomed to technological devices. Some schools have traditional thinking that textbooks are the only way to go perfectly, but on the other hand online resources are more sensible alternative. School districts should replace textbooks with online resources in order to reduce stress for the students, save the district resources, and endure a longer period of time than textbooks. Although online resources can be frustrating and slow if it is overloaded with applications, they are much easier to use for a student. Textbooks pressurize considerable weight on a student s back; as a result, it leads to medical conditions such as scoliosis. The most important reason for what young children have back pains is to carry heavy backpack with heavy textbooks. As stated by Daily Herald, Kids who wear their backpacks over one shoulder as many do,

He was elected into office during the Vietnam War, which was a big problem at the beginning of his presidency. He took many steps to ensure the war would end. President Nixon used a process called Vietnamization , as Rebecca Stefoff called it in her book, Richard M. Nixon . This is where Nixon replaced American troops fighting in North Vietnam with South Vietnamese troops. It was a very slow process, but it worked. Nixon made negotiations with Paris to help him get the United States out of the war as well. He also dropped bombs on North Vietnam and its innocent neighboring countries, Cambodia and Laos. He did this to take out any base camps set up around the outside of Vietnam that might have supported North Vietnam during the war. This helped to end the war and Nixon made his first big step as president of the United States of America. At the end of his first term, Richard Nixon did something our nation will never forget. He was part of the Republican party and wanted information about the upcoming 1972 election. Nixon decided to send spies in the Watergate building, in Washington D.C., to plant a bug so he could know the Democratic party s plans. He thought this would ensure a win, but was he ready for what was to come? The Watergate Scandal became well known throughout America. It led many Americans to question the rights of the President and come up with their own opinions about what

Families were torn apart, millions had their unalienable rights stripped down to nothing, and black children were sold almost at birth. Beloved, by Toni Morrison, delves deep into the many dark facets of slavery. Through the main character (Sethe s) experiences both in slavery, and in freedom, the reader learns firsthand what it was like for the slaves at Sweethome, and the lengths Sethe would go through to insure her family s departure from slavery altogether. Most of all, Morrison demonstrates how through dehumanization of Sethe, Paul D, and Halle, slavery caused the main characters to lose the connection with who they truly were before experiencing slavery. Whether evaluating Paul D s tin can heart, the way Sethe closed herself off from other people, or the events that caused Halle to smear butter on his face, it is clear that slavery induced major psychological changes in the main characters of Morrison s shady tale. What caused Paul D to lose connection with himself began when his slave owner, schoolteacher, stripped him of all sense of ego, in other words he took away any sense of self importance, confidence, and self esteem that Paul D possessed. This concept can be seen on page 86 when he discusses the old rooster at Sweet Home, Mister was allowed to be and say what he was. But I wasn t allowed to be and stay what I was... What Is The Theme Of War Is Kind By Stephen Crane In his poem, War is Kind, Stephen Crane strongly exemplifies and criticizes the effects of war on those indirect victims from an ironic perspective. The poem begins with the speaker telling a woman not to cry for her lover who has died in the war; he tells a child and a mother the same sentence. Through the poem, the speaker tells the readers in an ironic tone why the war is good; he remembers the battlefield, the drums, and the trenches. This description of the battlefield creates a visual image of terror and rejection; an image that reminds readers that in war it is not all happiness and honor, but death lurks around every corner. This image of the battlefield reinforces the ironic tone of the poem that on the one hand says that the war is good and kind, but, on the other side, it emphasizes the atrocities that the soldiers suffer. This image of the battlefield full of dead people is an exemplification of the cruelty and fatality that the war provokes on soldier s lives. Moreover, in the poem, the speaker reinforces this image by indicating, point for them the virtue of slaughter / make plain to them the excellence of killing (20 21). One way to do this is by producing evidence that counseling techniques work in a language that most stakeholders understand: academics. The money a public school receives correlates largely with achievement. If the students do well academically, the school becomes more attractive. Salaries are better; therefore, more qualified teachers apply and communities become more enticing to tax paying citizens. Just the opposite, schools that perform poorly academically have higher poverty level, lower teacher experience, and less money paid per student by the state in which it resides. All of this

If female farmers had the same access to resources as males do, they could increase the yields on their farms by 20 30 percent. This could raise the total agricultural output in developing countries by 2.5 4 percent, which could then reduce the number of food insecure people by 12 17 percent. (FAO, 2011) Women in developing countries lack access to productive resources and opportunities such as land, livestock, labor education financial services and technology, which leaves women unable to participate in fair rural labor markets. This genderdiscrimination harms the ability of women in rural communities to support themselves and their families and decreases the efficiency of the work they do, leaving them unable to find time to engage in productive activities outside of food production and preparation. Statistics Cheat Sheet What proportion of a normal distribution is located in the tail beyond z = +2.00? 0.0228 What proportion of a normal distribution is located between the mean and z = 1.40? 0.4192 The Z score corresponding to the 52nd percentile is .05 A normally distributed variable has a mean of 10 and a standard deviation of 2. The probability that a value between 7 and 9 is obtained is .2417 An accelerated life test on a large number of type D alkaline batteries revealed that the mean life for a particular use before they failed is 19.0 hours. The distribution of the lives approximated a normal distribution. The standard deviation was 1.2 hours. About 95.44% of the batteries failed between what two values? 16.6 21.4 The average time students need ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... n = 100 with s^2 = 100 I other factors are held constant, which set of characteristics is most likely to produce a significant t statistic? n = 50 with s^2 = 50 If other factors are held constant, what is the effect of increasing the sample size? It will decrease the estimated standard error and increase the likelihood of rejecting H0 A researcher conducts a one sample hypothesis test using a sample of n = 40 from an unknown population. What is the df value for the t statistic? 39 With О±= 0.05, what is the critical t value for a one tailed test with n = 15? t = 1.761 With О±= 0.05 and df = 20, the critical values for a two tailed t test are t = + 2.086. Assuming all other factors are held constant, if the df value were decreased to df = 10, what would happen to the critical values for t? They would increase (move farther from zero). A sample of n = 4 scores is selected from a population with an unknown mean. The sample has a mean of M = 40 and a variance of s2= 16. Which of the following is the correct 90% confidence interval for Ој? Ој= 40 + 2.353(2) When is it appropriate to use the two sample, pooled variance t test? When 2 independent samples are compared. Which of the following accurately describes an independent measures study? It uses a different group of participants for each of the treatment conditions being compared. Which of the following is the correct null hypothesis for an independent measures t test? Mu1 Mu2 = 0 Accounting procedures allow a
