7New Approaches and Education for the Success of Decentralized Wastewater
Treatment Systems
There is a common thinking in the academia and professional arenas that the solution
to the untreated wastewater discharges into our water bodies can be prevented or
mitigated mainly with the construction of wastewater sewer collection systems and
wastewater treatment plants. Part of the purpose of this research is to revisit and
analyze the benefits of using decentralized wastewater treatment technologies and
evaluate the latest wastewater treatment technologies available.
7.1Overview of Centralized Wastewater Treatment Systems Infrastructure
It is also of common knowledge that our nation s wastewater treatment infrastructure
is widely recognized to be in serious overhaul, if not outright replacement. (Crawford
2011). Also it is known that wastewater management does not figure among the
environmental legal and regulatory matters that command public attention, despite
the direct human and environmental health impacts of wastewater infrastructure
failures, to say nothing of the unsavory nature of ruptured sewage lines and massive
sewage spills, with their attendant harms for both land and water pollution (Crawford
2011). This is due to a lack of knowledge and education to the public concerning this
serious threat. A serious national wastewater treatment crisis is imminent. The need
to address our wastewater infrastructure deficiencies is urgent and not only for the

Ornithology Course Analysis
A beneficial science course that I took before this semester was Ornithology. The
professor, Dr. Leon Jernigan was an awesome instructor, very helpful and
knowledgeable. Dr. Leon Jernigan focused on teaching us the major groupings of
birds, basics of flights, adaptions, and their nesting behaviors. He presented the
material with PowerPoints, handouts and videos. The instructor taught the lab with
many hands on activities including fieldtrips, dissections, birdwatching, and birding
identification. The BiologyDepartment did not require any prerequisite classes for
Ornithology and it was an elective for Biology major. I thought the class was fun
with the many hands on activates including field trips to Fort Bragg. Skills I
obtained from taking Ornithology include being able to recognize and identify birds
from their calls,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, Botany and Ornithology was taught with awesome professors that did
anything to help their students succeed. Likewise, Botany and Ornithology both
taught us how all organisms are made up of the basic unit of life; cells. Also, the
professors of Botany and Ornithology taught lecture mainly with PowerPoints while
lab included more hands on activities. However, that s where the similarities
between the classes end. Ornithology is the study of birds. Uniquely, the professor
taught lab with many field trips to different locations for birding. Not to mention,
The Biology Department did not require prerequisite courses for Ornithology.
Lastly, I used Ornithology as an elective. Botany, however, required General
Biology as a prerequisite class. Also, the professor did not include any outside field
trips for Botany. Additionally, Botany is the study of plants. Also, Haleigh needed
Botany for her major as General Biology. All though our courses are different they
were beneficial to our growing development of becoming

employees at around 90 plants and facilities worldwide. The company went public in
1956, but the Ford family still retains 40 percent voting rights.
I will be comparing both companies General Motors Company and Ford Motor
Company for the past three years. We will be able to see all the trends these two
automotive manufacturers have and which one may be better to invest in by
looking at the last few year s ratios and percentages. This will give us a better
understanding and the knowledge of who maybe the industry leader and who is the
follower. These are both major corporations that strive off customer loyalty and both
competing on a global scale to make their mark in the one of the top automotive
manufacturers in the world. This analysis will give us an understanding of what lies
ahead in the future for these two manufacturers.
The following section will show the ratios and percentages figured by using these
two companies financial statements. A comparison will be used to compare the
companies to one another. People will always needs cars to get around whether it s
for education, work or tourism. By comparing these companies we will know which
company maybe the best to invest and to determine which companies will survive in

Andrew Jackson Dbq
Have you ever thought about what if one of the most influential presidents of the
United States was taken off of currency because of controversial topics? This is the
dilemma facing the government as they choose to take Andrew Jackson off of the
$20 bill. Though Jackson was revolutionary in politics and ideas, that s not
necessarily a good thing. Andrew Jacksonbecame president in the election of 1828.
Jackson started the spoils system and he relied on the help of trusted friends rather
than the presidential cabinet. He started the mass removal of Native Americans and
despised the banking system. Andrew Jackson should not stay on the $20 bill
because though he did a lot of good, his bad outweighs it. Andrew Jackson handled

Jackson had no sympathy for the Native Americans and during his presidency, it
became a national policy to remove them by force. After independence, the United
States created treaties with the tribes so there would be less conflict. Despite these
treaties, Native Americans were still being pushed off. The law did not say that
Indians should be removed by force, and in 1831 the Supreme Court ruled that
Indians have a right to their land. An angry Jackson disagreed. Groups that refused
to move west voluntarily were met with military force, usually with tragic results.
(Hart, 2005) This quote shows that Jackson would do what he wants even if it isn t
right. When the Native Americans tried to defend their land cruelty occurred.
Under president Martin Van Buren, more than 17,000 Cherokee were taken from
their homes in Georgia and were sent west. A soldier who took part in the Cherokee
removal called it the cruelest work I ever knew. (Hart, 2005) This shows that even
some of the people that took part in it thought that it was cruel. Though this was not
while Jackson was president, he was the one that started the mass removal of Native
Americans so he was to blame for the cruelty that ensued after his presidency. Some
might argue that Jackson was only trying to get more land for the settlers and that the
Native Americans had a long time to
Summary Of The Playlist
The playlist had about a dozen videos, and there were two themes. The first was
gorgeous women with shaved pussies having them lovingly licked by some hot guy.
In fact, this was very similar to the cock adoration part of the blowjob playlist, only
with the woman being the lucky recipient. I wrote down shave pussy/offer to Corey s
tongue.
The next part of this playlist was the most aggressive in the entire collection, and it
surprised me. It was a few videos of a woman kneeling above a man s head while
grinding her pussy on his tongue and face. My hubby loved face sitting! I had to
smile. This, too, I could totally do. In every video, the woman grabbed the guy by the
hair and pulled his mouth against her pussy. I will totally do that.

This was a position that we both loved, and that would always be special for us. I
didn t need to make it any more special than it was. That said, I was really horny for
Corey right then. All those beautiful bodies fucking and licking and sucking. I had
already had two orgasms. I logged out, went to the shower, and decided to have one
more.
I looked at my list. I smiled at the line I wanted to do first: Cock adoration. My
research and put me three orgasms ahead. I would cross that item off my list and let
Corey catch up. The second day of Christmas was turning out to be a lot of fun.
Corey was in the shower, and I couldn t stop myself from laughing. I kept thinking
over the stupid name I gave the night cock adoration. It sounded so porny. But, at
the same time, it was kind of perfect. I was dressing up in my little black dress. I
had make up on, and I had done my hair. Why? All so I could look glamorous as I
did nothing more than focus all my attention on my husband s cock.
To kind of pull myself back to the task at hand, I opened up the pornfolio site on my
phone and watched one of the blowjob videos. One of the things I loved was how
the woman would use her mouth without her hands at times. The guy s cock would
twitch up as she kissed or licked it. I loved that.
I heard the shower turn off. I closed the browser on my phone, and with a wicked
smile on my face, I pushed the door to the bathroom open without knocking.
The Great Dream Of Betty White
Fame, to most, seems like a grand dream. Only a select few have experienced the
spoils of fame, from the bothersome paparazzi to the masses of doting fanatics, and
none have experienced fame in the same way as Betty White. For her, this dream
became a fantastic reality. She is universally renowned for the charm, wit, and
comedic talent that she brought to each and every scene. Betty White, dubbed The
Queen of Television, is an award winning actress who is adored for her memorable
starring roles and countless appearances, effectively securing a place for herself in
the hearts of millions.
On January 17, 1922, Betty Marion White was born an only child to homemaker
Christine Tess and lighting company executive Horace Logan in Oak Park,
Illinois. The family struggled considerably during the Great Depression,
compelling White s father to build and sell radios to earn extra income. As a
teenager, Betty White had aspirations to become a forest ranger ( Betty White ).
Unfortunately, women were not accepted to be forest rangers during that time.
White took advantage of her writing talent and consequently decided to pursue a
writing career. In high school, Betty White even created her senior class play (
Betty White ). At first she appeared in theater and radio, but in 1949 White became a
part of the Al Jarvis Variety Show. Betty was initially hired to handle
Rushing 2 commercials on the program, but she worked her way up to becoming a
co host. In 1952, White co founded Bandy

transform black America s position in the twentieth century. With that in mind, a new

transcending organization occurred. Following suit around the country, in particular
at Howard University, other transcending organizations arose resulting in new

How to continue or duplicate in the twenty first century what has been accomplished

new voices and faces fighting inequality and injustices on the national and local
scene are not affiliated with a Divine Nine organization; this was unheard of 40
years ago. The old guard leadership of the NAACP, nor church elders with the
possible exception of a few players no longer pilot the rallies, protesting age old
inequalities and injustices in cities like Ferguson, Baltimore, New York, and
Philadelphia. Currently, intelligent, fearless, and brash young frustrated men and
women with street credibility command the media attention. They present a picture of

Fraud In Nonprofit Organizations
Nonprofit organizations are associated with goodwill and helping mankind. Because
of this, many people do not think that fraud is a concern in this sector. However, the
average nonprofit organization does not have strong governance in place. This is due
to their erroneous assumption that their staff and volunteers would not take
advantage of the organization and profit individually from the organization s funds.
Internal controls, very common in for profit organizations, can help these
organizations prevent any fraudby conducting employee background checks and by
reducing internal theft opportunities through segregation of duties.

Analysis Of For The Fire By John Foulcher
Imagery is used to portray the themes of For the fire by John Foulcher and The surfer
by Judith Wright by a variation of literary techniques and contrasting imagery types
such as natural, animal and sensory.
John Foulcher conveys the meaning of his poem For the fire by the use of literal
techniques, especially imagery. In the poem for the fire there is a variety of natural
imagery, sound imagery and violent vocabulary as this places the setting, time and
specific event spoken of in the poem: outside gathering kindling . In the first and
second stanzas of For The Fire the setting is placed in the forest with a male
character isolating himself. This is shown by natural and sound imagery for example
in the first stanza sound imagery is placed : It s singular, human thud in this quote
John Foulcher also uses onomatopoeia for a heightened sensory imagery effect. In
contrast the second stanza uses natural imagery: Wind through sparse leaves like
clockwork is a great example as it tells the audience about the isolation as a setting
whilst using a literary device which is simile.
For the Fire conveys the themes the violence of nature or survival of the fittest.
The Poems theme is displayed through the violent and aggressive descriptive
language for example in the third stanza kookaburra hacks with it s axe blade beak
. The language in this quote gives a visual image of the violence in nature that
occurs. In the fourth and fifth stanza enjambment is placed to create a sense of
violent imagery and emphasise the violence for example it s legs arched; and claws
clutching at the air . In both of the quotes John Foulcher uses alliteration to focus the
audiences attention to the more violent words generating further visual imagery.
In the poem there is also an idea of man verses nature, this relates to the survival of
the fittest. John Foulcher shows this through the use of first person point of view.
For example in the second stanza Then above me the sound drops this again
possesses sensory imagery creating a deeper human aura throughout the poem.
Foulcher further uses a human aura to build a sense of natural imagery for example
in the last stanza : I pick up these twigs and leave them adding closure
Health And Safety At Work Act
Health and safety at work act The health and safety at work act is a law which was
put in place in 1974, this is to make sure that the people at work are looked after in
the correct way and make sure that the work environment is safe. Also to ensure that
they don t work in dangerous conditions and they use the right clothing and safety
equipment. They have to make sure that they check the materials used and that they
are stored and handled properly. They have to have a written safety/risk assessment
form for the workplace. This is for everyone within the workplace including
employers, suppliers, self employed, trainees and manufactures. The health and safety

out an induction so that everyone is using the gym equipment safely and correctly.
If they don t use it properly they could easily hurt themselves or other people

employers supply appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel for example a
first aid box which includes plasters, bandages, medical tape etc, and staff are first

determine on the how much first aid is needed. These regulations apply to all
workplaces, these also include those with less than 5 employees and the self

a football match, there were people that were first aid trained, so they could treat
him and get him the help he needed quickly. His circumstances could have been a lot
worse if there wasn t anyone

Leadership Theory
Here are different leadership theories. But before discussing leadership theories and
styles, it is useful to first define the term and then take a closer look at them. They
will give you only the general types of leadership because each leader is unique and
has his or her own style. Moreover, some leadership styles work better with
different groups of people and in different situations. However, it is essential find out
and learn more about your own style and then start working on how to leverage your
style to achieve even greater results.1
The Leadership is.....
Fundamental Leadership Theories
Each leadership theory describes its best leadership style. Thus let s take a look on
the most popular leadership theories:
Trait Theories: Similar in some ways to Great Man theories, the first leadership theory
which assume that the leadership ability is inherent, trait theory assumes that people
inherit certain qualities and traits that make them better suited to leadership. Trait
theories often identify particular personality or behavioral characteristics shared by
leaders. But this theory doesn t explain why people who possess those qualities
sometimes do not become leaders. Contingency Theories: Contingency theories of
leadership focus on particular variables related to the environment that might
determine which particular style of leadership is best suited for the situation.

The love I have for orangutans comes from an early age. Like most little sisters, my
older brother ruthlessly teased me. When I was a baby he would make me mimic

Unfortunately, this is no longer the case, and natives are stripping away these
creatures habitats for commercial business. If things don t change, it is believed that
orangutans will be extinct in the wild in as few as ten years. This is something that
can only be changed with human intervention.
Two major causes of orangutan endangerment are the illegal selling of baby
orangutans and the unlawful logging of the rainforest in which they live. The bond
between a mother orangutan and her baby is the longest childhood dependence of
any animal in the world. Orangutans will only have one child about every eight
years. Baby orangutans nurse until they are about six years old and then they still
stay close to their mothers for a few more years. Female orangutans will sometimes
stay with their mother until their adolescents, in order to learn how to take care of
their own babies by watching their mothers take care of a younger sibling.
The already low natural population increase makes any killing a major threat to the
survival of the species. Because babies stay with their mother for so many years, the
only way to capture one is to kill the mother. Although highly illegal, baby orangutans
are being sold as family pets as a high commodity on the black market. When the

Left Versus Right Brain And The Impacts Learning Human brain has two
hemispheres with different function and each has an impact in human learning. The
left hemisphere The element of human linear reasoning and language is performed by
the left hemisphere. This means that it is the part of the brain responsible for things
as grammar and vocabulary (Kalat, 2009). With linear reasoning, this simply gives an
added advantage of numerical computation to the persons with the left brain part
being dominant (angelfire, 2011). The difference in students ability to solve

It is a problem for such students to extract direct facts on what they have learnt. This
is because their reasoning is random and intuitive which makes them follow instance

dimensional forms and volumes. This means that in class, such persons prefer
instructions that are visual and those with examples for them to view the form as a

They value their views, desires, feelings, inventions, and beliefs as compared to
those from and objective perspective and score best in practices requiring personal

and are willing to defend it at all cost.During analysis and evaluation of a given
concept, the right hemisphere dominant persons look at thing as wholes and not

perceptions (Paradiso, Bears amp; Connors, 2007). It is also a contributing factor in
the ability to view facial perceptions. In language, individuals with right hemisphere
dominance are practical, with inclination to tones and emphasis. This factor makes
such persons to possess strong musical and art awareness. Compared to the

February 23, 1988, the Cubs made the decision to install lights in Wrigley Field.
The first official night game was scheduled for August 8, 1988, but the game was
cancelled after four innings due to rain. The first official game was played the next
day.
There have also been recent renovations to the ballpark. After the 2003
season, 200 seats were added behind homeplate. After the 2005 season, 1,800 seats
were added to the bleachers making the capacity a little over 41,000. During the
2007 off season, the whole field was replaced because Wrigley Field was known
around the Major Leagues to have one of the worst playing surfaces in all of
professional baseball.
In 2009, the Tribune Company sold the Chicago Cubs to the Ricketts family
for $900,000,000. The Rickett s first order of business was to win the
World Series which has not been accomplished in 103 years for the Cubs. Wrigley
Field is more of an adult oriented ballpark now, but in the future the Rickett
family plans on building an attraction suitable for children as well. There have
been discussions on building a Chicago Cub s Hall of Fame so that on off days
and during the off season fans can come to the ballpark and still experience
Wrigley s atmosphere.
When the Ricketts family bought the organization there were rumors
that they were going to sell the naming rights of Wrigley Field
Harmonielehre Analysis

The continued relevance of the Symphonic genera through Musical Synthesis In John
Adams Harmonielehre
In todays society a musician must grapple with many different artistic realities. The
current musical landscape includes many different styles from music in pop culture
to music existing predominantly in the academic field. In this vast sea of musical
styles the compositional career of John Adams was born. In this ever changing era
of musical styles John Adams has created a style for himself titled Post Minimalism.
The Post Minimalistic music of John Adams was derived through many cultural and
musical influences of the 1900 s and early 2000 s, specifically as a reaction to
Schoenberg s Viennese school. John Adams orchestral work Harmonielehre shows a
conscious reaction to Schoenberg s serial music and a synthesis of many styles of
music while including serial elements from the Viennese school. This connection
makes the work of Adams different from other minimalistic composers at the same
time ushering an era of New or Post Minimalism, creating an accessibility in both the
symphonic orchestra and minimalism repetoire that did not exist. As with many
composers the experiences in Adams past shaped much of his music, specifically his
development of Post Minimalism style along with his synthesis of several musical
styles. John Adams was born and raised in New England and partook in marching
band and community orchestra in his early years. He then
Correlational Research
In my chosen field of school psychology, correlational research is a great research
method in order to build various support groups, interventions, and an overall warm
school climate. One topic that I am specifically interested in is the relation of self
esteem and bullying. I would predict that there would be a negative correlation
between the two variables, as I believe that bullyingis prominently done by those
students whom have lower levels of self esteem.
Research Question: How is self esteem related to bullying?
I believe that this research question would be most supported by correlational
research because the results will allow me to see if there is a relationship between
self esteem and bullying. If I find that there is in fact a relationship, then I will have
the ability to build programs within the school that focus on self esteem in order to
reduce, or stop, bullying from happening. To begin, I would assign self esteem as the
predictor variable and bullying as the outcome variable.
For this study, I would seek all students attending 3 different schools in the same city,
or area. I would want one school that reports very little bullying, a school that reports
an average amount of bullying, and one school that reports extreme amounts of
bullying. I believe that the three different ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Data for self esteem, for example, could be collected using the Rosenberg Self

Data for bullying, for example, could be collected using the Aggression Scale

frequency of teasing, pushing, or threatening others. Both scales are deemed valid
and reliable, thus I believe using each would result in valid and reliable

However, the infectious agent, although most highly concentrated in nervous tissue,
can be found in virtually all tissues throughout the body, including blood (http:/
/news.bbc.co.uk). Scientists believe that BSE is transmitted from animals to humans
when humans eat meat contaminated with nervous tissue from infected animals.
However, milk and milk products are not believed to pose any risk for transmitting
mad cow disease to humans. Experiments have shown that milk from mad cow
infected cows has not caused infections (http://www.emedicinehealth.com).
BSE can be transmitted from one human to another through cannibalism or through
transplantation of infected tissue. Consequently, certain human blood products and
blood donations are not accepted from people who have lived in areas of the world
where BSE outbreaks have occurred in cattle. BSE has been shown to be
transmissible by blood transfusion in an experimental model using sheep. The U.K.
surveillance unit for vCJD has also reported three cases of vCJD that occurred as a
result of blood transfusion
Justin Bieber s T-Humpty Commercial
The Justin Bieber commercial was pretty cool . They had cavemen , some were
football players from the falcons and the Patriots. Then at the end there were
football players ,dancers , and other random people. They were promoting T

mobile. When they Put Justin Bieber in the commercial it was more compelling
because he is a famous person. If someone sees a famous person in the commercial
they might think they are with T mobile and want to sign up just because of Justin .
The Humpty Dumpty commercial was really interesting . Humpty Dumpty was
broken because he was doing his taxes on the wall then he fell off it can crashed on

The Supreme Court Case Loving V. Virginia
It is hard to believe that it has only been 48 years since the landmark 1967 Supreme
Court case Loving v. Virginia, where the court unanimously declared Virginia s
Racial Integrity Act of 1924 unconstitutional and ended all race based marriage
bans in the U.S. When I chose this topic for my assignment, I don t know if it was
the lack of knowledge or denial that led me to believe it was longer than 48 years
ago. To me, it felt like it was not a long time ago, and it was mindboggling because
that meant that when my parents grew up, it was illegal if you wanted to have an
interracial marriage, let alone relationship. That thought made me sad, because if I
had grown up in that time, it would be illegal to be with my boyfriend now. I am in...

and they were both arrested and sentenced to one year in jail for violating Virginia s
Racial Integrity Act. Robert and Mildred have stated to their lawyers that they did not
want to be known, they were just in love and trying to be with their families, but little
did they know, from that point on they were changing history.
When compiling my research, many articles were found that spoke about the
documentary because of its similarities to the fight and struggles of same sex
marriage happening today. There were also many articles with data accompanying
it, showing how interracial marriages have grown and its acceptance. According to
an article in Yahoo News in 2012, interracial marriages in the U.S climbed to a new
high, 4.8 million a record 1 in 12 marriages (8.3% nationwide). The percentage has
grown almost twenty times since its legalization in all 50 states. A Pew Forum
survey data also found that a record number approved of interracial marriage,
however 14 percent of people still don t. For example, a poll taken in 2011, almost
half of the registered Republican Mississippi voters said they thought interracial
marriage should be illegal, and it was pointed out that, nearly all the States that have
laws against mixed marriage are in the South where Whites are considered not likely
to marry Blacks in large numbers, even though it is now permitted
Enkidu And The Creation Of Gilgamesh
Enkidu is created for the sole purpose of distracting Gilgamesh. The Akkadian
creation myth sets mankind as a servant to the gods. Servant might not be the right
term, though. Man was created less to serve the gods, more to serve their will.
This is not to demean man, but to bring man to an almost godlike level without the
belittling the gods. If man is more than just a servant to the gods, if he is a
necessary part of their primary goal, then man becomes a critical part in the system.
Someone who is part man and part god, however, would be occupy a much different
role in the Summarian world view. More than a simple servant, yet less than master,
a partial god would be self serving. Acting as the masters of their own fate, they
would have... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Why then have the gods deemed it necessary to make Enkidu a guardian of nature?
Returning tothe idea that man is meant to serve the gods, what service does this do?
This seems to hint that Enkidu is self serving. He does what is right by his own
terms: defending his family and habitat. A sense of purpose, beyond what the gods
prescribe, is a decidedly non human attribute.
Once Enkidu is corrupted by the outside world, he is unable to return, not because
nature rejects him, but because he rejects nature. This behaviour is patently non
godlike, as it is a fundamental separation from origin. The gods are defined by their
creation and background. Enkidu is also mortal, which is another attribute that
excludes him from being a god. Enkidu was created in response to a request for an
equal of Gilgamesh. The gods seem to think this is a perfectly reasonable request
because it is granted without any further complications. Aruru, goddess of creation,
then shapes a being out of clay, granting it life, and qualities comparable to the gods.
This is not to say that Enkidu is a god, simply that the gods are reference points in
his creation. The more interesting part of Enkidu s creation is the material he is
made of. In the original Akkadian creation myth mankind was made from the blood
of Kingu, god of unskilled labour and toil, and clay from the earth. The gods are
made of the mixing of fresh and salt water. This is an exceptionally important
difference, because it means that the

Booms, busts, recessions, and growth; all of the preceding terms are characteristics of
a typical market economy. There are times when an economy can flourish
spectacularly and there are times when it can fail miserably. Consequently, it is the
responsibility of a nation s central bank to manage these fluctuations through
conducting effective monetary policy. The following paper will assume the
perspective of the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and critically analyze the past,
present, and future of the Australian economy while considering specific sectors.
With a GDP of over $1 trillion USD, the Australian economy is among the largest in
the world (Cornett and Saunders, 2014). Australia is trading partners with the United
States, China, and Japan, but their economic ties are mainly centered in the Pacific
Rim. Exports are crucial to the country s GDP and this has created problems
regarding sustainability in the Australian economy. The Australian economy is reliant
on three key sectors: services, housing, and mining. The services sector employs the
largest percentages of Australians around 80 percent and is responsible for
approximately 70 percent of the country s GDP (Australian Bureau of Statistics,
2010). With jobs in a variety of specific industries, this sector drives the success of the
Australian economy. The housing sector is experiencing unprecedented growth
leading to concerns over a potential asset bubble. An increase in the amount

programs went to faith based initiatives. Most of the money went to large social
service providers that have received the funds for decades (CNN, 2005).

Essay on American Politics
Every two to four years, politicians aspire to demonstrate their competency for
political office. Political campaigns and organizations concentrate millions of dollars
to undercut and outlast the opposition. They drag names through the mud, as if it
were the next step on the political corporate ladder. The American people, caught in
the middle, are torn between the need for elected officials and the heartbreak of
countless shattered oaths. Consequently, they dissociate themselves from misused
words like Democrat, Republican, and change. They have learned to bite their
tongue, drink their beer and leave well enough alone. That s exactly what the
politicians want. In 1933, the political landscape attained a new twist: No single...

political history, there has never existed a person, who fits Baxter s standards. The
first five presidents, who helped instigate America s freedom, were still trapped in
monarchy s glamour: They hated monarchial rule, yet desired the appearance of a
king. Their periods of rule was marked with great ideologies, yet blotted with law
that was quite contrary. With the election of the seventh president, Andrew Jackson,
George Washington s political party free America was abandoned. Jackson

On our arrival we looked for an area deeper in the forest and with flowing water.
Taking our tubes, one at a time we filled them up trying to get enough sample with
little to no rocks from the stream. We took four samples to make sure the area was
well covered. A group we were working with went to the other location, the Campus
Pond to gather data from there. They too took tubes to gather data and used two
tubes. Once the tubes were filled with the samples we took them back to the lab,
the tubes were put on a tube holder. After having the tubes stay still for a few
minutes a few drops were put on a wet mount to view under the microscope. The
samples were also shaken thoroughly to find more species. We also used a filter.
Going through the different samples we tried to find the different amount of

Examples Of Response To Conflict Essay
Responses To Conflict: An Expository Essay
Stephen Moyer once said, Conflict is drama, and how people deal with conflict
shows you the kind of people they are (BrainyQuote.com, 1). During World War II,
people reacted in different ways to the conflict that was occurring. People react to
conflict in many different ways; some people that experienced conflict during World
War II went into hiding, while others fought back against the Nazis. People react
differently to different types of conflict, three responses to conflict during World War
II were concealment, physical resistance, and compliance.
To begin, one response to conflict during World War II was concealment. An example
of concealment was the Frank family when they were hiding in their secret annex.
When the Frank family went into hiding, they were unaware that they will spend
more than two years in the Secret Annex. All that time, they will not be able to go
outside... (annefrank.org, 1). They had to hid in the cramped annex for 2 years, not
knowing if and when, they would be found. The Frank family and the others in hiding

that they may get caught and they take every precaution not to. ... Show more content

Corrupt School System
The Corrupt School System Education in the U.S. is failing, so bad in fact that
other countries are going to start taking advantage of us, and pass us as they excel
in innovation and we lag behind. The general schooling system of the United States
has been around for one hundred and fiftee years, with almost all the same
teaching methods, grading and student expectations taking place through it all. It s
very perplexing that the system multiple generations were taught in hasn t changed
while everything else has. The school system of America needs to change in order
for it to stay as one of the most successful, powerful countries in the world. The first
reason why our school system needs to change in order for the U.S. to stay
successful is because everything else in our country in the past 150 years, like
technology, laws, transportation, language, literature and much more has evolved.
If everything else has changed, then why hasn t our school system? All the
changes that were made since America was first founded were made to adapt and
prepare for the future to achieve ultimate success, so we should be changing our
school system to help students adapt and prepare for the future, to help them
achieve success. In order for our country to be successful , our future leaders must
be prepared to be successful. The second reason why our school system needs to
change in order for the U.S. to stay successful is because school systems around the
world are starting to change and

Level A:
You are swimming underwater in a lake and you see dinosaur feet in the water. You
don t want to go to the surface of the lake in case they are not friendly dinosaurs.
How many dinosaurs are standing in the lake? Explain how you know. Use words and
mathematical language to explain your solution..
Problem Restated: This basically states try to find all possible combinations and
outcomes for this type of situation.
Process: The very first thing I did was to find out that there weren t any dinosaurs
with 1,3,5,6,7,8 feet. (Lincoln and John helped with that). Next, I figured that if
there were only two legged dinosaurs it would be four of them. 2+2+2+2=8. There
could also be four legged dinosaurs. In this case 4 x 2 = 8 found the number of
dinosaurs. Last, there could be a combination of dinosaurs in the lake. A four legged
and two two legged beasts.
Math:
2 four legged dinosaurs make up eight feet or 4 + 4= 8
4 two legged dinosaurs make eight feet or 2+2+2+2=8
1 four legged dinosaurs and 2 two legged dinosaurs make 8 feet or 4+2+2=8
Solution: A possible four two legged, and two four legged, as well as one four legged
and two two legged. So 2,3,4 dinosaurs

The Mega Marketing Of Depression
In this rapidly globalizing world, the jobs of the advertisers and marketers are to
make sure we, the general public, have no control over our wants and desires.
However, it is impossible for them to gain full control, but they do a good job of
restricting what freedoms we do have. Big companies want us to believe that we have
control by changing cultural norms without us realizing they did. Ethan Watters
discusses how marketers plan to redesign Japanese culturefor their benefit in his
narrative titled The Mega Marketing of Depression in Japan. Watters makes it clear
big companies, such as the drug company GlaxoSmithKline, are reshaping Japanese
culture to market a pill that supposedly cures depression. Society is constantly
changing and companies are able to take advantage of that by prompting the route in
which society chooses to take. Large companies practice this style of marketing
everywhere in the world and they are successful in influencing us, the general public.
Big companies are considered big because consumers continuously buy their
products, a lot of which are unnecessary. Their success brings light to the fact that
we may believe that we have control, but it is just an illusion. It is difficult to
determine how much autonomy we have over our well being unless we know how to
define it. Well being can be defined as what makes one comfortable in their respective
cultural and societal norms. Watters showcases cultural differences through Kirmayer

The reel is very lightweight and works great with any fishing rod that measures at
least 6 to 7 feet.
The gears operates smoothly and effortlessly. I did not have to exert much effort and
there isn t any drag which is such a relief. It has a fast crank power.
It holds up well especially in saltwater. Just avoid soaking it entirely.
It doesn t cause you any fatigue in your hands. This alone is such a big plus for most
fishermen.
Describe Your Rocket Research Paper
Describe your rocket.
At the top of the rocket is the nose cone that guides the air around the rocket.
Underneath the nose cone is the parachute and the shroud lines that were used when
the rocket was falling back down to the ground. The body tube is made of rolled
paper or plastic with a special coating so that it has the strength, since it is the basic
airframe of the rocket. The launch plug is on the side of the tube that goes on the
launch rod so that when the rocket first sets off, it is more controlled. At the bottom
of the rocket is the fins, the engine mount, engine, and igniter and plug. The fins are
used for guidance and the engine mount holds the engine in place inside the body
tube. The Igniter and plug is used as a safe way to ... Show more content on

Rockets are a very complex aircraft, using instructions are key, but if you follow the
instructions carefully then it is not hard to build. If you glue something together that
doesn t need to be glued could potentially ruin your rocket. I also learned that the
bottom needs to be heavily glued together because after I shot my rocket off, the
bottom pieces came off and I lost the fins, the engine mount, the engine, and the
igniter and plug. Another thing that I learned, not necessarily about the rocket itself
but the conditions, is that it is probably better to not set off rockets when there is a
lot of wind. The rockets already travel far but if the parachute catches the wind then it
would make the rocket travel much farther.
3.) How does aerodynamics play apart in the flight of a rocket? Aerodynamics for a
rocket is about how the air flows over and around the rocket and also about how it
affects the drag and stability of the rocket. Aerodynamics is the study of the forces
and the resulting motion of the objects flying in the air. It depends on the shape,
size, and velocity of the rocket, It plays apart in the flight of the rocket because
aerodynamics affects and goes hand and hand with the lift and drag that is caused by
the air moving around the rocket.
4.) What are the following forces and what do they do with the
Francis Bacon Research Paper
Many people have heard of the mathematicians Issac Newton, John Locke, or
William Petty. All of these mathematicians changed history with their
groundbreaking ideas and methods. However, all of these mathematicians were
influenced by the mathematician, Francis Bacon. Bacon was influential in many
aspects during the English Renaissance. He was an author, philosopher, scientist,
mathematician, and served as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of England.
Francis Bacon had a successful life, not only in the progress he made in science
and math, but also other achievements he made. Francis Bacon was born in
London, England on January 22, 1561. He was born into a high class family with
his father, Nicolas Bacon, being the Lord Keeper of the Seal. His mother, Anne
Bacon, was also the daughter of Edwards VI s tutor. At first Bacon was
homeschooled where he was taught the works of famous philosophers and
scientists. Due to his family s wealth, at the age of twelve, Bacon was able to
attend Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1573. There, he met Queen Elizabeth, who
was astounded by his intelligence. Then, in 1576, Bacon attended law school at
the Honorable Society of Gray s Inn. From there, he studied at the English
Embassy in Paris where he learned valuable political advice. Bacon s goal was to
become as well versed in politics as possible, which brought him all over Europe.
Eventually, Bacon was studying languages, civil law, and statecraft while working for
the English Ambassador.

New Approaches And Education For The Success Of... 7New Approaches and Education for the Success of Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Systems There is a common thinking in the academia and professional arenas that the solution to the untreated wastewater discharges into our water bodies can be prevented or mitigated mainly with the construction of wastewater sewer collection systems and wastewater treatment plants. Part of the purpose of this research is to revisit and analyze the benefits of using decentralized wastewater treatment technologies and evaluate the latest wastewater treatment technologies available. 7.1Overview of Centralized Wastewater Treatment Systems Infrastructure It is also of common knowledge that our nation s wastewater treatment infrastructure is widely recognized to be in serious overhaul, if not outright replacement. (Crawford 2011). Also it is known that wastewater management does not figure among the environmental legal and regulatory matters that command public attention, despite the direct human and environmental health impacts of wastewater infrastructure failures, to say nothing of the unsavory nature of ruptured sewage lines and massive sewage spills, with their attendant harms for both land and water pollution (Crawford 2011). This is due to a lack of knowledge and education to the public concerning this serious threat. A serious national wastewater treatment crisis is imminent. The need to address our wastewater infrastructure deficiencies is urgent and not only for the centralized
  • 3. Ornithology Course Analysis A beneficial science course that I took before this semester was Ornithology. The professor, Dr. Leon Jernigan was an awesome instructor, very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Leon Jernigan focused on teaching us the major groupings of birds, basics of flights, adaptions, and their nesting behaviors. He presented the material with PowerPoints, handouts and videos. The instructor taught the lab with many hands on activities including fieldtrips, dissections, birdwatching, and birding identification. The BiologyDepartment did not require any prerequisite classes for Ornithology and it was an elective for Biology major. I thought the class was fun with the many hands on activates including field trips to Fort Bragg. For example, Botany and Ornithology was taught with awesome professors that did anything to help their students succeed. Likewise, Botany and Ornithology both taught us how all organisms are made up of the basic unit of life; cells. Also, the professors of Botany and Ornithology taught lecture mainly with PowerPoints while lab included more hands on activities. However, that s where the similarities between the classes end. Ornithology is the study of birds. Uniquely, the professor taught lab with many field trips to different locations for birding. Not to mention, The Biology Department did not require prerequisite courses for Ornithology. Lastly, I used Ornithology as an elective. Botany, however, required General Biology as a prerequisite class. Also, the professor did not include any outside field trips for Botany. Additionally, Botany is the study of plants. Also, Haleigh needed Botany for her major as General Biology. All though our courses are different they were beneficial to our growing development of becoming

  • 5. Andrew Jackson Dbq Have you ever thought about what if one of the most influential presidents of the United States was taken off of currency because of controversial topics? This is the dilemma facing the government as they choose to take Andrew Jackson off of the $20 bill. Though Jackson was revolutionary in politics and ideas, that s not necessarily a good thing. Andrew Jacksonbecame president in the election of 1828. Jackson started the spoils system and he relied on the help of trusted friends rather than the presidential cabinet. He started the mass removal of Native Americans and despised the banking system. Andrew Jackson should not stay on the $20 bill because though he did a lot of good, his bad outweighs it. Andrew Jackson handled the Nullification... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Jackson had no sympathy for the Native Americans and during his presidency, it became a national policy to remove them by force. After independence, the United States created treaties with the tribes so there would be less conflict. Despite these treaties, Native Americans were still being pushed off. The law did not say that Indians should be removed by force, and in 1831 the Supreme Court ruled that Indians have a right to their land. An angry Jackson disagreed. Groups that refused to move west voluntarily were met with military force, usually with tragic results. (Hart, 2005) This quote shows that Jackson would do what he wants even if it isn t right. When the Native Americans tried to defend their land cruelty occurred. Under president Martin Van Buren, more than 17,000 Cherokee were taken from their homes in Georgia and were sent west. A soldier who took part in the Cherokee removal called it the cruelest work I ever knew. (Hart, 2005) This shows that even some of the people that took part in it thought that it was cruel. Though this was not while Jackson was president, he was the one that started the mass removal of Native Americans so he was to blame for the cruelty that ensued after his presidency. Some might argue that Jackson was only trying to get more land for the settlers and that the Native Americans had a long time to
  • 6. Summary Of The Playlist The playlist had about a dozen videos, and there were two themes. The first was gorgeous women with shaved pussies having them lovingly licked by some hot guy. In fact, this was very similar to the cock adoration part of the blowjob playlist, only with the woman being the lucky recipient. I wrote down shave pussy/offer to Corey s tongue. The next part of this playlist was the most aggressive in the entire collection, and it surprised me. It was a few videos of a woman kneeling above a man s head while grinding her pussy on his tongue and face. My hubby loved face sitting! I had to smile. This, too, I could totally do. All those beautiful bodies fucking and licking and sucking. I had already had two orgasms. I logged out, went to the shower, and decided to have one more. I looked at my list. I smiled at the line I wanted to do first: Cock adoration. My research and put me three orgasms ahead. I would cross that item off my list and let Corey catch up. The second day of Christmas was turning out to be a lot of fun. Corey was in the shower, and I couldn t stop myself from laughing. I kept thinking over the stupid name I gave the night cock adoration. It sounded so porny. But, at the same time, it was kind of perfect. I was dressing up in my little black dress. I had make up on, and I had done my hair. Why? All so I could look glamorous as I did nothing more than focus all my attention on my husband s cock. To kind of pull myself back to the task at hand, I opened up the pornfolio site on my phone and watched one of the blowjob videos. One of the things I loved was how the woman would use her mouth without her hands at times. The guy s cock would twitch up as she kissed or licked it. I loved that. I heard the shower turn off. I closed the browser on my phone, and with a wicked smile on my face, I pushed the door to the bathroom open without knocking.

  • 10. Analysis Of For The Fire By John Foulcher Imagery is used to portray the themes of For the fire by John Foulcher and The surfer by Judith Wright by a variation of literary techniques and contrasting imagery types such as natural, animal and sensory. John Foulcher conveys the meaning of his poem For the fire by the use of literal techniques, especially imagery. In the poem for the fire there is a variety of natural imagery, sound imagery and violent vocabulary as this places the setting, time and specific event spoken of in the poem: outside gathering kindling . In the first and second stanzas of For The Fire the setting is placed in the forest with a male character isolating himself. This is shown by natural and sound imagery for example in the first stanza sound imagery is placed : It s singular, human thud in this quote John Foulcher also uses onomatopoeia for a heightened sensory imagery effect. In contrast the second stanza uses natural imagery: Wind through sparse leaves like clockwork is a great example as it tells the audience about the isolation as a setting whilst using a literary device which is simile. For the Fire conveys the themes the violence of nature or survival of the fittest. The Poems theme is displayed through the violent and aggressive descriptive language for example in the third stanza kookaburra hacks with it s axe blade beak . The language in this quote gives a visual image of the violence in nature that occurs. In the fourth and fifth stanza enjambment is placed to create a sense of violent imagery and emphasise the violence for example it s legs arched; and claws clutching at the air . In both of the quotes John Foulcher uses alliteration to focus the audiences attention to the more violent words generating further visual imagery. In the poem there is also an idea of man verses nature, this relates to the survival of the fittest. John Foulcher shows this through the use of first person point of view. For example in the second stanza Then above me the sound drops this again possesses sensory imagery creating a deeper human aura throughout the poem. Foulcher further uses a human aura to build a sense of natural imagery for example in the last stanza : I pick up these twigs and leave them adding closure

Two major causes of orangutan endangerment are the illegal selling of baby orangutans and the unlawful logging of the rainforest in which they live. The bond between a mother orangutan and her baby is the longest childhood dependence of any animal in the world. Orangutans will only have one child about every eight years. Servant might not be the right term, though. Man was created less to serve the gods, more to serve their will. This is not to demean man, but to bring man to an almost godlike level without the belittling the gods. If man is more than just a servant to the gods, if he is a necessary part of their primary goal, then man becomes a critical part in the system. Someone who is part man and part god, however, would be occupy a much different role in the Summarian world view. More than a simple servant, yet less than master, a partial god would be self serving. Acting as the masters of their own fate, they would have... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Why then have the gods deemed it necessary to make Enkidu a guardian of nature? Returning tothe idea that man is meant to serve the gods, what service does this do? This seems to hint that Enkidu is self serving. He does what is right by his own terms: defending his family and habitat. A sense of purpose, beyond what the gods prescribe, is a decidedly non human attribute. Once Enkidu is corrupted by the outside world, he is unable to return, not because nature rejects him, but because he rejects nature. This behaviour is patently non godlike, as it is a fundamental separation from origin. The gods are defined by their creation and background. Enkidu is also mortal, which is another attribute that excludes him from being a god. Enkidu was created in response to a request for an equal of Gilgamesh. The gods seem to think this is a perfectly reasonable request because it is granted without any further complications. Aruru, goddess of creation, then shapes a being out of clay, granting it life, and qualities comparable to the gods. This is not to say that Enkidu is a god, simply that the gods are reference points in his creation. The more interesting part of Enkidu s creation is the material he is made of. In the original Akkadian creation myth mankind was made from the blood of Kingu, god of unskilled labour and toil, and clay from the earth. The gods are made of the mixing of fresh and salt water. This is an exceptionally important difference, because it means that the
  • 29. The Reserve Bank Of Australia Executive Summary Booms, busts, recessions, and growth; all of the preceding terms are characteristics of a typical market economy. There are times when an economy can flourish spectacularly and there are times when it can fail miserably. Consequently, it is the responsibility of a nation s central bank to manage these fluctuations through conducting effective monetary policy. The following paper will assume the perspective of the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and critically analyze the past, present, and future of the Australian economy while considering specific sectors. With a GDP of over $1 trillion USD, the Australian economy is among the largest in the world (Cornett and Saunders, 2014). Australia is trading partners with the United States, China, and Japan, but their economic ties are mainly centered in the Pacific Rim. Exports are crucial to the country s GDP and this has created problems regarding sustainability in the Australian economy. The Australian economy is reliant on three key sectors: services, housing, and mining. The services sector employs the largest percentages of Australians around 80 percent and is responsible for approximately 70 percent of the country s GDP (Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2010). With jobs in a variety of specific industries, this sector drives the success of the Australian economy. The housing sector is experiencing unprecedented growth leading to concerns over a potential asset bubble. An increase in the amount

Political campaigns and organizations concentrate millions of dollars to undercut and outlast the opposition. They drag names through the mud, as if it were the next step on the political corporate ladder. The American people, caught in the middle, are torn between the need for elected officials and the heartbreak of countless shattered oaths. It s very perplexing that the system multiple generations were taught in hasn t changed while everything else has. The school system of America needs to change in order for it to stay as one of the most successful, powerful countries in the world. The first reason why our school system needs to change in order for the U.S. to stay successful is because everything else in our country in the past 150 years, like technology, laws, transportation, language, literature and much more has evolved. If everything else has changed, then why hasn t our school system? All the changes that were made since America was first founded were made to adapt and prepare for the future to achieve ultimate success, so we should be changing our school system to help students adapt and prepare for the future, to help them achieve success. In order for our country to be successful , our future leaders must be prepared to be successful. The second reason why our school system needs to change in order for the U.S. to stay successful is because school systems around the world are starting to change and

The Mega Marketing Of Depression In this rapidly globalizing world, the jobs of the advertisers and marketers are to make sure we, the general public, have no control over our wants and desires. However, it is impossible for them to gain full control, but they do a good job of restricting what freedoms we do have. Big companies want us to believe that we have control by changing cultural norms without us realizing they did. Ethan Watters discusses how marketers plan to redesign Japanese culturefor their benefit in his narrative titled The Mega Marketing of Depression in Japan. Watters makes it clear big companies, such as the drug company GlaxoSmithKline, are reshaping Japanese culture to market a pill that supposedly cures depression. Society is constantly changing and companies are able to take advantage of that by prompting the route in which society chooses to take. Large companies practice this style of marketing everywhere in the world and they are successful in influencing us, the general public. Big companies are considered big because consumers continuously buy their products, a lot of which are unnecessary. Their success brings light to the fact that we may believe that we have control, but it is just an illusion. It is difficult to determine how much autonomy we have over our well being unless we know how to define it. Well being can be defined as what makes one comfortable in their respective cultural and societal norms. Watters showcases cultural differences through Kirmayer when

All of these mathematicians changed history with their groundbreaking ideas and methods. However, all of these mathematicians were influenced by the mathematician, Francis Bacon. Bacon was influential in many aspects during the English Renaissance. He was an author, philosopher, scientist, mathematician, and served as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of England. Francis Bacon had a successful life, not only in the progress he made in science and math, but also other achievements he made. Francis Bacon was born in London, England on January 22, 1561. He was born into a high class family with his father, Nicolas Bacon, being the Lord Keeper of the Seal. His mother, Anne Bacon, was also the daughter of Edwards VI s tutor. At first Bacon was homeschooled where he was taught the works of famous philosophers and scientists. Due to his family s wealth, at the age of twelve, Bacon was able to attend Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1573. There, he met Queen Elizabeth, who was astounded by his intelligence. Then, in 1576, Bacon attended law school at the Honorable Society of Gray s Inn. From there, he studied at the English Embassy in Paris where he learned valuable political advice. Bacon s goal was to become as well versed in politics as possible, which brought him all over Europe. Eventually, Bacon was studying languages, civil law, and statecraft while working for the English Ambassador.
