Students who live at or below the poverty line are often lacking in their reading and
math skills, often do not have enough food in their homes, and often do not have

She s thought of needing protection and comfort. Chrysanthemum s parents came to
her rescue when she was sad, her petal wilting. They tried to lift her spirits, they used
