It defines digital reputation as the perception formed from what people see online about an individual, including what they post themselves and what others post about them. It encourages establishing a personal brand through a consistent online presence and message across social media platforms like blogs, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. It also stresses the importance of monitoring one's digital reputation and engaging in reputation management.

8. What is Digital Reputation?
Your online reputation is the perception, estimation and
opinion that is formed when you are encountered online.
This could be when someone visits your social networking
profile, anyone reads a comment you posted on another
profile. - WHAT YOU WRITE/SAY ABOUT YOU
It could also be when someone sees your online photo
albums or an image with you in it, indeed any instance or
reference of you that either you posted or someone else did –
WHAT OTHERS WRITE/SAY ABOUT YOU
… what your digital footprint says about you.
10. What is Personal Branding?
“Personal branding describes the process by which individuals
and entrepreneurs differentiate themselves and stand out
from crowd by identifying and articulating their unique value
proposition, whether professional or personal, and then
leverage it across platforms with consistent message and
image to achieve a specific goal. In this way, individuals can
enhance their recognition as experts in their field, establish
reputation and credibility, advance their careers, and build
self-confidence.”
“How we market ourselves to others.”
