LECTURE NO.2
DEFINITIONS
Building Construction Technology I
Professor : Prof.dr.Nerman Rustempasic
Assistant : M.Sc. Ahmed El Sayed
2. INTRODUCTION
In order to talk about the construction process, we should
understand who participates in this process and what are
theirs function.
By understanding the function and the definitions of each
important word , we will be able to make a chart in which
people and process will be sort from top ( investiture ) to the
bottom ( the building ).
If any process should be done effectively, the working and
staff charts ( scheme ) must be as perfect as it possible, and
must be with good timing and with well organization.
By the end of the lecture, you should be able to make a
chart by yourself.
3. DEFINITIONS
Construction : object created by constructing
works, connected to ground, performed from building
products with common installations and equipment, or
integrated complex with facility or equipment as well as
technical - technological units or solo installations connected
to the ground. Or units connected to the ground but was not
made by construction works, if they change the purpose of
the land.
Construction works : Performing constructional and other
works (preparation, land, and
