Dr. Joe Harrington gave a presentation about opportunities in architecture, civil engineering, and construction at Cork Institute of Technology (CIT). He outlined CIT's programs from ordinary degrees to PhDs, as well as the disciplines offered. Harrington discussed how the construction industry recovered from its downturn and now has increased graduate recruitment. He provided data on employment and further education outcomes for recent graduates of CIT programs in structural engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, and architecture. Upcoming outreach events were also noted.
