open day 2014
CIT’s Open Day is an ideal opportunity for prospective students, their parents and Guidance
Counsellors, to sample the enormous range of courses and facilities on offer. CIT offers seventy seven
CAO course options for 2015 which are featured on the back cover of this Open Day Brochure.
Throughout our Open Day, we will be holding an extensive range of activities that will be particularly
beneficial to students selecting higher education courses and planning their future careers. The main
features of the Open Day will be a Careers Exhibition in the Student Centre and a series of information
sessions, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions of student work and laboratory visits that will take
place in numerous departments throughout the various campuses (please find schedule in this Open
Day brochure). Students will have the opportunity of meeting with lecturers and students who will
answer queries, and current students will be on hand to recount their own personal experiences and
offer advice. There will be an opportunity to see the extensive facilities available in CIT including extra-
curricular activities. Organised tours will also be available in order to allow students to get a feel for the
CIT campuses.

CIT Crawford College of Art & Design delivers courses at its campus on Sharman
Crawford Street in the city centre, at the main campus in Bishopstown and at its
premises on Sullivan’s Quay.
