Mrs. McMath teaches 8th grade social studies at Benton Middle School. She has a Master's degree in education from Azusa Pacific University and teaches with a focus on the Common Core standards. Her class will cover American history from independence to 1914 using project-based learning and primary sources. Students will use iPads for digital classwork and communication through various apps and websites. Her goals for students are to develop skills for high school, college, careers, and beyond like communication, responsibility, and collaboration.
