This document provides instructions for basic breathing exercises known as pranayams that are recommended to be done every morning on an empty stomach. The exercises include breathing in and out slowly while sitting upright, pulling the stomach in while exhaling, alternating blocking each nostril while inhaling and exhaling, pulling the chin up while pressing the back, and exhaling while blocking the ears and eyes and chanting "Om". The exercises are said to help with control over self and good health when practiced regularly.
