What is an Apprenticeship?
“It is a job with training. Being an apprentice means that you have a job that
includes gaining recognised qualifications and essential skills whilst you are
working and earning a wage.”
• Take 1 to 4 years to complete depending on their level
• Four Levels- Intermediate, Advanced, Higher & Degree
• Applicants must be 16+
• Generally work on a “day release” basis

  • 4. What we’ll cover today • What is an apprenticeship? • The benefits of taking an apprentice on • Are you right for an apprentice? • What to look for in an apprentice • Training providers- they’re not all the same!
  • 5. What is an Apprenticeship? “It is a job with training. Being an apprentice means that you have a job that includes gaining recognised qualifications and essential skills whilst you are working and earning a wage.” • Take 1 to 4 years to complete depending on their level • Four Levels- Intermediate, Advanced, Higher & Degree • Applicants must be 16+ • Generally work on a “day release” basis
