Dr. Poveda Jaramillo received his bachelor's degree at the Juan Bautista Migani school in Florencia-Caquetá, distinguishing as the best bachelor of his promotion and the third best bachelor of his department. Later he obtained his medical degree from the Industrial University of Santander, in Bucaramanga, Santander.
