According to Juliet (Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet), a name should mean nothing, but for a startup, it’s a completely different story. Choosing a name for your startup can be one of the most important decisions you make in the beginning, and for a good reason: it is the most impactful choices you’ll take. That’s why it is pretty common, that startups before getting product-market fit change their names a couple times. Unfortunately, not every startup gets enough time and they realize too late that they chose a lame name. But what is in a name?

"Everything you thought you knew about marketing is obsolete.
We can see the incontrovertible evidence right in front of us. A new generation of multibillion dollar brands—Facebook, Twitter, AirBnb, Evernote, and countless others—have been built without spending a dime on traditional marketing techniques. No press releases, no PR firm, no Madison Avenue, no billboards in Times Square.
It wasn’t luck that took them from tiny start-ups to massive success. They have a new strategy. It’s called Growth Hacking. And it works.
A Growth Hacker is someone who rejects what “marketing” is supposed to be and replaces it only with tools that are testable, trackable, and scalable. Growth Hackers rely on inexpensive tactics like e-mail, pay-per-click ads, blogs, and platform APIs. They chase real results in a field that was dominated by gut instincts for nearly a century. They reject the traditional marketing worship of all things big: big budgets, big campaigns, big opening weekends. Instead, they embrace the opposite: taking a start-up from nothing to something, launching a Kickstarter project, building something that truly spreads.
Growth Hacker Marketing offers both a new mindset and a new set of rules. Bestselling author Ryan Holiday, the former director of marketing for American Apparel, will convince you of the urgency of this awakening. He shows why the game has changed forever and what to do about it—whether you are an aspiring marketer, an entrepreneur, or a Fortune 500 senior executive."

The Irrationality of Measuring Brand Performance: Using Fame, Feeling & Fluen...System1 Group
Learning from behavioural science has taught us that humans think a lot less than we think they think. It demands the abandonment of the classical cognitive and persuasion-based marketing and communication models and instead, favors a simple, straightforward System 1 inspired brand-building approach governed by Fame, Feeling & Fluency:
•Fame: If a brand comes readily to mind, it's a good choice.
•Feeling: If a brand feels good, it's a good choice.
•Fluency: If a brand is recognizable, it's a good choice.

Twitter gives B2B marketers a powerful opportunity to access broad networks of brands, companies and decision makers on Twitter. Supported by the latest research, we demonstrate why Twitter is not optional and why private and publicly listed brands are missing out on a solid opportunity if they do not incorporate Twitter into their marketing mix.
We demonstrate that Twitter is not optional for brands engaged with B2B marketing. We include the most recent data from multiple leading sources, including The Social Media Examiner, Inc.; Twitter, Inc.; Regalix, Inc. and others.
Twitter provides private and publicly-listed brands an opportunity to engage with broad networks of other brands, firms and key decision makers that also use Twitter. We note that Twitter's active user base is comprised of 250 million plus users and is growing.
When used effectively and in combination with communication strategy and tools, Twitter represents the optimal platform for deploying ongoing messaging. When viewed as a communications hub, Twitter is unrivaled through its ability to integrate other channels and information sources and to coordinate their priority and emphasis. Twitter is effective at relaying information on channels that include Websites, Press releases, Instragram, Facebook, Snapchat, URLs, and any other linkable source of information, and driving traffic to these same sources.
We note that press releases and awareness in general can be difficult for some brands and companies to generate but that Twitter is a proven solution.
Sky Alphabet is a social media marketing agency that utilizes Twitter to achieve growth, awareness and sales objectives through integrated forms of traditional and digital communications driven by Twitter. We understand that Twitter is "not easy" because of its unrelenting requirement for fresh and relevant content, but it is this same requirement that makes Twitter the ideal platform for brands, companies, people and products that are prepared to express themselves through such an advanced channel.

Introduction
Email is one of the oldest forms of digital communication, but its popularity has not waned over the years. With more than 4 billion email users in the world, it still enjoys a user base that surpasses the most popular social media platforms. In 2021, around 319.6 billion emails were sent and received every day all over the world. With that sort of traffic, email becomes an indispensable tool in the arsenal of any digital marketer and/or brand.
With email, marketers and brands can interact with customers on a more intimate level by entering their private space: their inboxes. Additionally, email marketing allows you to own the connection with your customer; you need not worry about algorithms pushing you around.
Email continues to be a powerful channel for driving business. Are you feeling the power? Or could your email marketing use a turbo-boost?
“An Introduction to Email Marketing” is more than a quick overview. It’s a how-to compendium that explains why a holistic approach to email – integrating it with your other marketing channels – is most valuable and how you can implement and measure a top-performing email marketing program.
Email marketing is a cost-effective and widely used online marketing tool to acquire new customers and build loyalty with existing customers.
In this session, we discussed:
- The benefits of Email marketing
- How to develop effective email lists
- How to create compelling messages that get results
- How to measure and improve campaign results
This presentation puts forth the importance of email marketing in today's business scenario as it's one of the most affordable modes of communication with the prospect for promoting the product or service of an organization.
What if EDMs (Email Direct Marketing) are designed and programmed to be able to promote products and services? People have different reading behaviours. People tend to ignore emails, because they get a lot of them. In fact, on many occasions people ignore emails from sources they know. Is there a way that an email (like a salesman) can prompt the email recipient to take notice of it, open it and do the required 'call for action'. Call for action is the sole purpose of any business email. With an expert panel of data scientists and psychologists, we have researched and invented a system of email campaign delivery that takes into consideration the reading behaviour patterns of the email recipients to smartly target the messages to suit those behaviours.

Your Go-To-Market is Killing Your Business, and You Don't Even Know ItHubSpot
Modern customers expect that it will be easy to learn about your product and buy it, but most of our go-to-markets do the opposite. We ask people to fill out long forms, we build complex qualification rules, we make it tough for prospects to talk to someone right now. In short, we put up barriers that solve for our companies instead of solving for our customers.
At HubSpot, we’re mid-way through transforming our go-to-market to be customer centric. Learn what’s worked for us, what hasn’t, and what we’re building.

According to a recent report from Ernst & Young GmbH, both the number of funding rounds for startups in Germany and the overall value of those rounds hit record levels in the first six months of 2017. That tracks with what we’ve found in HubSpot research as well. We recently commissioned a survey of consumers living and/or working in the Berlin metro area, and found that the tech scene there is evolving quickly – 95 percent of Berliners see the number of technology jobs in the city growing, and 90 percent say Berlin also offers access to the technology and digital talent needed to grow a tech company. With Berlin offering the highest post-grad monthly salary for the European tech sector (3,112 euros per month, on average), it’s no surprise that the city has become a hub for fast-growing tech companies. And as of today, HubSpot is the latest to call the city home.

Supply chain disruptions and inventory shortages are critical issues, leading to increased shipping delays and rising costs, which impact timely delivery and squeeze profit margins. Efficient logistics management is essential, yet it is often hampered by these external factors. Payment processing, while needing to ensure security and user convenience, grapples with preventing fraud and integrating diverse payment methods, adding another layer of complexity. Furthermore, fulfillment operations require a streamlined approach to handle volume spikes and maintain accuracy in order picking, packing, and shipping, all while meeting customers' heightened expectations for faster delivery times.
Amid these operational challenges, customer data has emerged as an important strategy. By focusing on personalization and enhancing customer experience from historical behavior, businesses can deliver improved website and brand experienced, better product recommendations, optimal promotions, and content to meet individual preferences. Better data analytics can also help in effectively creating marketing campaigns, improving customer retention, and driving product development and inventory management.
Innovative formats such as social commerce and live shopping are beginning to impact the digital commerce landscape, offering new ways to engage with customers and drive sales, and may provide opportunity for brands that have been priced out or seen a downturn with post-pandemic shopping behavior. Social commerce integrates shopping experiences directly into social media platforms, tapping into the massive user bases of these networks to increase reach and engagement. Live shopping, on the other hand, combines entertainment and real-time interaction, providing a dynamic platform for showcasing products and encouraging immediate purchases. These innovations not only enhance customer engagement but also provide valuable data for businesses to refine their strategies and deliver superior shopping experiences.
The e-commerce sector is evolving rapidly, and businesses that effectively manage operational challenges and implement innovative strategies are best positioned for long-term success.
