Potentiality of the lab
Biomoove Lab aims to build partnerships to offer the following services:
 manage and evaluate athletes of all
levels from the physical point of
view and to address problems
related to their performance, posture
and biomechanics
 • develop innovation of products
related to any sport
 providing scientific advice to
companies, organizations and
associations / clubs.
Biomoove Lab is a center of sport biomechanics able to study and develop products
related to sport and evaluate athletic performance both indoors and outdoors thanks to the
use of advanced technological tools.
The laboratory research innovation in all its activities not only in the development of
new products (clothing, footwear, surfaces, etc.) but also of tools as software and
hardware that can analyze the human movement,
enhance sport performance and prevent accidents
during the execution of any athletic movement.
In the research and the product development
Biomoove Lab is able to carry out tests and
experiments and to validate these studies from the
scientific point of view. These researches have
allowed to our Lab to create the past 20 years dozens
of patents belonging to the sports world and beyond.
Here are some of our activities with athletes in each
sport and level:
 TESTS FOR THE ATHLETES:
 Biomechanical Analysis
 Functional tests
 Test breech
 Test on visual amplitude and eye training
 Ideo-motor training
 Evaluation of reaction time and training to reactivity
 ACTIVITY FOR COMPANIES LINKED TO THE WORLD SPORTS
 Validation and objectification of products related to any sport, example tennis
(courts, balls, rackets, shoes, etc.)
 Technological Innovation
 Scientific Advisor
Biomoove Lab for years adopts a research protocol characterized by the use of inertial
sensors that can evaluate the athlete's movement and to build it in 3D and analyze it
through a special videotracking analysis software we created.
Here are some of our tools used in the biomechanical field:
 Inertial sensors for functional assessments of the movement and 3D reconstructions of
human movement. It’s a wireless equipment and adaptable to the human body so as
not to affect the expression of athletic movement.
The sensors are useful tools for the analysis of vibrations and oscillations of any object
and dominances by the athlete in the execution of an athletic movement, his energy cost,
his motor efficiency and his neuro-muscular coordination.
 Biomovie (video analysis tracking software can analyze any athletic movement (p.e
reaction times, postural analysis, assessment of muscle stiffness, etc.) but also the
behavior of facing materials to all types of stress
and aerodynamics studies.
 Tool for measuring anthropometric digital detection
 Cameras for thermographic analysis


 Baropodometric platforms for postural assessment and analysis in static / dynamic
 Video cameras for slow-motion and hd webcams to record the athletic performance
The laboratory is able to carry out tests with athletes and to process these data in the
analysis phase. The research may involve 3 to 15 subjects. Such studies can be
conducted both indoors and outdoors, both at our center at any other facility
Example of assessments
Metabolic Analysis: Evaluation of the threshold and interior cargo
together with the external load, the breech pressure, motor
coordination and stiffness.
 Device for training of neuro-coordinative abilities athlete
