Eurelon polyamides are thermoplastic resins used as binders, co-binders, or modifiers for printing inks and varnishes. They are made from dimerized fatty acids, diamines, and chain terminators and contain up to 90% renewable resources. Eurelon polyamides have different properties depending on their composition, such as solubility in alcohols or co-solvent mixtures. They are well-suited for packaging applications where good adhesion and flexibility are required. Huntsman's technical specialists can help select the appropriate Eurelon grade based on factors like printing process, solvent compatibility, and chemical resistance.

Petnology 2012 - Colourants with a function - protecting brand integrityHans Werink
Colourants with a function; protecting brand integrity
In today’s competitive marketplace it is essential to protect brand integrity. An increasing number of product categories like dairy products, beer, juices , energy drinks and vitamin-enhanced beverages but also house hold cleaners and dish washing liquids is packaged in PET. This because of PET’s outstanding clarity and favorable properties like shatter resistance. Many of these products however contain color, flavor or nutritional / functional components that require protection from oxygen ingress and the negative effects of sunlight or fluorescent lighting in retail outlets. To maintain product integrity proper care must be taken to prevent the deterioration of these valuable components.
Holland Colours has introduced a number of additives in the field of light and oxygen barrier as well as preform production that create synergy when systems are combined for optimal package performance.
The growing use of additives in PET at elevated concentrations poses new challenges to the industry because established recycling streams might be affected. As a responsible industry these have to be faced with a pro-active approach.
In this presentation we will show which products Holland Colours offers to maximize product protection through optimized container performance. Next to this we will provide an update on the work that has been done on the post-consumer stage of the packaging life cycle. For our barrier materials there are technically feasible and economical options for bottle-to-bottle as well as bottle-to-fibre recycling.

LDPE is formed from ethylene at a high pressure of 1500-3000 atmosphere at a temperature range of175-250oC in presence of some oxygen, peroxide, or azocompounds as initiators.
LDPE has nearly 20–50 branches (both long and short branches) per 1000 linear carbon atoms in the chain molecules.
The loss of molecular symmetry due to the high degree of branching results in a lower density range (0.915–0.94 g/cm3 ) and lower softening or melting temperature.
LDPE dissolves in toluene at or above 60°C.HDPE is usually more resistant to chemicals than LDPE.
HDPE is soluble in toluene at 900C.
2–5 short branches or side chains per 1000 carbon atoms in the main chain, thus having a higher density range (0.945–0.96) and high melting temperature (125–130°C) compared to LDPE. HDPE-The polymerization at a low temperature and pressure in presence of metal oxide catalyst
Poly ethylenes are very good insulating materials and are adequately flexible hence used as an insulator in wires and cables.
They find extensive uses and applications as molded or formed objects, films, sheets, bottles and containers, pipes, and tubes.
Polythene finds application in packaging, waterproofing, irrigation, and water management including canal lining and mulching, and in coating and lamination.

For making plastic parts of machinery
For making plastic furniture
For making syringes, medical vials, Petri dishes, pill containers, specimen bottles. Polystyrene is synthesized by the polymerization of styrene at 335K in the presence of a benzoyl peroxide initiator. It is used as an electrical insulator.
Expanded polystyrene finds extensive use in packaging and shock absorbing applications, in thermal insulation, and as acoustic improvers in halls and auditoria.
High impact grades are suitable for use as toys, games and sports articles, casings and cabinets for electrical/ electronic gadgets and equipment, and inner liners of refrigerators.

Terzaghi's soil bearing capacity theory, developed by Karl Terzaghi, is a fundamental principle in geotechnical engineering used to determine the bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This theory provides a method to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil, which is the maximum load per unit area that the soil can support without undergoing shear failure. Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Saudi Arabia stands as a titan in the global energy landscape, renowned for its abundant oil and gas resources. It's the largest exporter of petroleum and holds some of the world's most significant reserves. Let's delve into the top 10 oil and gas projects shaping Saudi Arabia's energy future in 2024.
Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.
2. Eurelon® polyamide resins
They are used as binders, co-binders or modifying agents for
printing inks and printing varnishes, especially for flexographic and
rotogravure printing processes.
Eurelon® polyamides are reaction products of dimerized fatty
acids, diamines and chain terminators and they contain up to 90%
renewable resources. Depending on their specific composition, the
solid Eurelon® polyamides are soluble in alcohols or in co-solvent
mixtures of alcohols and non-polar solvents like petroleum spirits
or aromatic carbohydrate solvents.
Eurelon® for the packaging industry
Packaging is the main end-market for Eurelon® polyamide resins
which are ideal binders for applications where good adhesion to
plastic packaging films and good flexibility of the printing film are
required.
All Eurelon® types show in general good compatibility with each
other and show good compatibility with a wide range of natural
and synthetic resins, plasticizers, waxes and most of the types of
pigments that are generally used in the ink industry.
Several criteria such as printing process type, solvent
compatibility, blocking resistance, gloss, chemical resistance (to
water, detergents, fats and oils) are key for selecting the right
Eurelon® grade.
With a wealth of experience behind them, Huntsman’s technical
support specialists can help you to identify the right Eurelon®
product and to define or adapt the proper processing conditions.
