This document summarizes Berlin's urban development strategies and plans through 2030. It outlines that Berlin is a growing city that aims to be dynamic, innovative, creative, green, and socially inclusive. Key strategies include increasing housing development, promoting economic growth, and ensuring an open society. Major projects include transforming the vacant TXL airport into an "Urban Tech Republic" and increasing density near public transit. The city engages residents through forums to discuss and provide input on transformation areas and quality of life goals.
Planning development of the city of Berlin with a specific focus on the urban regeneration policies and actions promoted by the City of Berlin and its main transformation in the last 30 years.

Case Study of Berlin, from the beginning of the city till today. How it has developed from a fortified town to a city. Then, studying the five points of Kevin Lynch.
In land use planning, urban open space is open space areas for "parks", "green spaces", and other open areas. The landscape of urban open spaces can range from playing fields to highly maintained environments to relatively natural landscapes. They are commonly open to public access, however, urban open spaces may be privately owned. Areas outside city boundaries, such as state and national parks as well as open space in the countryside, are not considered urban open space. Streets, piazzas, plazas and urban squares are not always defined as urban open space in land use planning.
CAMILLO SITTE
He was an Austrian architect, born Vienna in 1843
Camillo Sitte was the son of the architect Franz Sitte(1808–79) and the father of the architect Siegfried Sitte (1876–1945).
He was an art historian and architect whose writings, according to Eliel Saarinen, were familiar to German-speaking architects of the late 19th century.
He was also an painter and urban theorist whose work influenced urban planning and land use regulation.
Sitte traveled extensively in Western Europe, seeking to identify the factors that made certain towns feel warm and welcoming.
Sitte saw architecture was a process and product of culture.

Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.
