General School Rules Dress Code “Fruit of the Loom” Clause If we can tell what brand your underwear is, you are not dressed right.  Tuck the shirts in!  You will be sent home for violating dress code.  If you aren’t sure if it’s okay, don’t wear it.
General School Rules Cell Phone/Electronic Devices If we see it, we’re supposed to take it.  You will be asked to put it away, if you refuse we have to take it.  If you refuse, to turn it over, it’s an automatic two day suspension.  High   School Rule of Thumb: Never have items of value near your broke teachers !

PUNCTUAL Be here, be here every day, and be here on time.  If you realize the bell is about to ring, show you are working to get there fast.
ATTENTIVE Be awake, take part in discussions, and stay focused to what we are doing.  Listen to what directions are given and ask for clarification if you do not understand.
NEAT Desks are to remain in their current place.  Nothing is left on your desk when you leave unless given permission. Clear your area and messes before leaving.
TALK APPROPRIATELY Follow “the Radio Rule”.  Use an appropriate tone of voice.  Consider who is around you when you are talking.
HAVE MATERIALS Have something to write with when you show up for class. Take care of the supplies you use here.  Do not lose or take items with you without permission. Be prepared for class when you get here.
EXPECT SUCCESS Do not expect to fail.  Expect to succeed, then do the work to find success. Have a positive attitude.  Maintain the A that everyone starts with.
RESPECT EVERYONE Show respect to everyone in the room, including yourself.  Be mindful of others who may be in the room observing or visiting Coach Tomes.  Hands and negative comments are kept to yourself.
SPEAK UP If you need help, make sure you get the help you need in class by letting the teacher know.  If you have an issue in class, do not let it get bad before you say something.

Squirrel-Free Zone Don’t be a squirrel. Squirrels look nice, but they don’t act right. Squirrels never sit still. Squirrels make a mess when they eat. Squirrels take things that aren’t theirs.  Squirrels get into things and places where they don’t belong.
Don’t Be a Squirrel Squirrels vandalize and damage property that they shouldn’t. Squirrels make annoying noises.  Squirrels make foolish decisions. Squirrels can never sit still.
Being a Squirrel Will Cause You Problems Squirrels never graduate from high school, so they do things that are not smart. Squirrels always get caught doing something bad.  Because they are impulsive, squirrels have bad things happen to them.
