Mrs. Clayton's classroom expectations include coming prepared with writing tools and a folder, keeping all notes and materials organized, and being polite during class by remaining seated, disposing of trash properly, and not using the bathroom during lessons. Students are responsible for finding out what they missed if absent and should check the class wiki page. The final exam will be comprehensive, covering the entire semester's material, and students can use some notes.

2. • Come to class prepared with a writing utensil, lined paper, and
a folder for Media Analysis.

3. Keep Everything in Your
Folder/Binder!
You need to keep:
Your notes
Your handouts
Your returned
work
You will be able to use many of
these resources on the final exam.

4. Be Polite
• Remain in your seat during lectures
and discussions
• If you need to sharpen your pencil, get up quietly, walk to the
middle hallway area and sharpen your pencil. Return to your
seat without disrupting anyone in the classroom.
• Do not get up to throw trash during classroom discussions or
lectures. The same goes for hand sanitizer.
• Do not ask for bathroom passes during
discussions/lectures/videos.

5. Final Exam
• The final exam is a comprehensive exam. This
means it covers everything for the entire
semester…all 20 weeks…both marking periods.
Get it?
• You will be able to use some notes on the exam.
This is just one of the reasons you will want to
keep everything organized in your folder or
binder.

• Students who line up at the door before the bell rings.
• Students who make disrespectful smacking noises with their
mouths when they disagree with something someone has
said.
• Students who are not quiet after being asked to be quiet.
• Students who talk during the morning announcements.
• Students who can’t keep their gum quiet.
• Students who do not clean up after themselves.
• Students who eat or drink in areas designated as no drinking
or eating.
