Capability Maturity Model® for Business
Development (BD-CMM)
The BD-CMM is designed to guide Business Development (BD) organisations in selecting
high-priority improvement actions based on the maturity of their current practices. Its benefit
is in narrowing the scope of improvement activities to those key practices that provide the
most effective way to improve the organisation’s current BD performance.
