nutritious food for themselves and their families,
this makes them weaker and unable to earn more
money that would help escape poverty.

-Natural Disasters like floods, tropical storms,
and long periods of droughts causes food
shortages, drought being the most common.
5. ACTS TO STOP MALNUTRITION
-One can make donations occasionally to help in
fighting against hunger around the world.
-Fund Raising for organizations that will help against
hunger.
6. Joe Henry
• Joe Henry is an UAB employee.
(University of Alabama at Birmingham)
• Joe Henry did many strenuous exercises daily to prepare
him for the 26.2 miles marathon and reduce injuries
during the run. He ran 32-33 miles daily for 17 days
straight.

• He got inspired to do something by seeing people go
above and beyond to make a difference, and Joe hopes to
inspire many during his marathon.

• The purpose of the marathon is to raise awareness about
Malnutrition around the world, and raise $100,000 for the
World Food Program.
