ABSTRACT :
•Health monitoring of electrical equipment using IOT may help to replace
the equipment before failure and continuity of the power will not be
disturbed. This paper presents an implementation of this concept which
acquires the real-time condition of the distribution transformer
remotely with the use of internet implementing IOT. The proposed
health monitoring system works in real time and uses
temperature-sensor, potential transformer and current transformer for
monitoring oil level,oil quality,temperature, voltage and current of the
distribution transformer and send these information to a remote server
where it can be monitored and necessary action may be taken to avoid
the outage of the electricity supply. The proposed system has been
implemented in Laboratory and tested. The data collected are validated
and it has been found that the proposed system is working
satisfactorily.

EXISTING SYSTEM:
•The transformer in substations are controlled manually
•As the transformer is controlled manually there may be a chance of
occurrence of damage
•It has manpower to check the operation in routine basis
•To over come this problem we are using controlled by automatic
•Manual operation has less reliable

•This system is implemented by using online measuring system using
IOT
•The system installed at the transformer site
•The IOT system is programmed with some predefined instructions
•This online measuring system is used to analyse the data over time

WORKING PRINCEPLE:
•All the sensors collect data from the transformer
• The data transfer to ADC
•The digital data are transferred to programmed micro controller
•The data displayed in the LCD display
•If data is in normal condition, no alert
•If the data is in abnormal condition, start alert like inform monitoring
nod through internet

CONCLUSION:
•Transformer health monitoring will help to identify or recognize
unexpected situation before any serious failure

MINI PROJECT (2021-22),ANURAG GROUP OF INST,DEPT OF EEE ABSTRACT : •Health monitoring of electrical equipment using IOT may help to replace the equipment before failure and continuity of the power will not be disturbed. This paper presents an implementation of this concept which acquires the real-time condition of the distribution transformer remotely with the use of internet implementing IOT. The proposed health monitoring system works in real time and uses temperature-sensor, potential transformer and current transformer for monitoring oil level,oil quality,temperature, voltage and current of the distribution transformer and send these information to a remote server where it can be monitored and necessary action may be taken to avoid the outage of the electricity supply. The proposed system has been implemented in Laboratory and tested. The data collected are validated and it has been found that the proposed system is working satisfactorily.
