However, communication is not always successful due to barriers that can prevent the message from reaching the intended recipient or having the desired effect. There are several potential barriers, including issues with the sender, recipient, method of communication, and other problems. Effective communication requires understanding audiences, listening, using appropriate language, respecting different perspectives, and getting feedback to ensure intended meanings are conveyed.
