Madkudu - Product Led Summit - Product Led OnboardingFrancis Brero
As the conversation around product-led growth builds, some interesting trends have started to emerge. Amid all the stories and strategies are some frequently repeated myths about product-led onboarding and what it means in a product-led go-to-market strategy.
So I’d like to debunk 3 common product-led onboarding myths—namely, the idea that you don’t need a sales team, that conversion is a linear process, and that people truly want to serve themselves.
Mobile Goes Mainstreet: Consumers Lead the Way — Key Trends and Investment Op...Linda Gridley
The number of smartphone users in the U.S. is consistently growing and the connected user is turning to mobile more and more frequently for everyday consumption. Global mobile data traffic is predicted to increase 26-fold between 2010 and 2015. Smartphone and tablet revenues overtook traditional desktop and laptop revenues in 2013. At the same time, the amount of time users are spending on mobile daily is increasing. Mobile commerce sales are reaching all-time highs, and now represent 12% of total digital commerce, while mobile traffic represent about 40% for major eCommerce retailers such as Amazon, eBay, Apple, and Walmart.
The mobile industry was unquestionably the most important growth channel across digital media. Some of the most important trends we’ve seen in the sector include:
Average mobile (plus tablet) time spend now equal to desktop
Mobile is no longer just for gaming. Growing number
of use cases and apps hitting mass adoption— utilities, productivity, shopping, media & entertainment
Total mobile ad revenue grew twofold in 2013, and still only represents 2% of total ad spend but 12% of total media time spend
Strong M&A and funding environment – First $1bn M&A deal in mobile. Q3’13 was record quarter for mobile
Digital media leaders such as Facebook and Twitter realigned their organizations to mobile over the past two years and now see 40% plus of their revenue from the mobile channel
The evolution of mobile as the next computing platform is just beginning to take shape, bringing new billion market opportunities to the digital media ecosystem. We believe it is still early in this evolution and expect to see new technologies and innovative applications to fuel continued growth over the next five years.
Risk management, Enterprise Risk Management and Business Process Maturity Models are in itself huge topics.
This presentation aims to cover basic meaning of these topics and highlight and how these can prove to be value adding exercises and support function for organizational growth.
It is expected that the reader of the presentation has some basic knowledge in the domain of ERM, Risk Based Internal Audits (RBIA).

Small business entrepreneurship has laid the foundation for economic growth within all sectors of the US Economy. New technology is making it easier than ever for a person to take their idea and build it into a successful business. This is especially important for the disability community, where underemployment and lack of growth opportunities leaves many with low-income employment and social support. Overview of Data and Analytics Essentials and FoundationsNUS-ISS
As companies increasingly integrate data across functions, the boundaries between marketing, sales and operations have been blurring. This allows them to find new opportunities that arise by aligning and integrating the activities of supply and demand to improve commercial effectiveness. Instead of conducting post-hoc analyses that allow them to correct future actions, companies generate and analyze data in near real-time and adjust their operations processes dynamically. Transitioning from static analytics outputs to more dynamic contextualized insights means analytics can be delivered with increased relevance closer to the point of decision.
This talk will cover the analytics journey from descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics to derive actionable and timely insights to improve customer experience to drive marketing, salesforce and operations excellence.
With the use of Predictive Analytics, companies are able to predict future trends based on existing available data. The actionable business predictions can help companies achieve cost savings, higher revenue, better resource allocation and efficiency. Predictive analytics has been used in various sectors such as banking & finance, sales & marketing, logistics, retail, healthcare, F&B, etc. for various purposes.
Get set to learn more about the different stages of predictive analytics modelling such as data collection & preparation, model development & evaluation metrics, and model deployment considerations will be discussed.

Slack (or Teams) Automation for Bonterra Impact Management (fka Social Soluti...Jeffrey Haguewood
Sidekick Solutions uses Bonterra Impact Management (fka Social Solutions Apricot) and automation solutions to integrate data for business workflows.
We believe integration and automation are essential to user experience and the promise of efficient work through technology. Automation is the critical ingredient to realizing that full vision. We develop integration products and services for Bonterra Case Management software to support the deployment of automations for a variety of use cases.
This video focuses on the notifications, alerts, and approval requests using Slack for Bonterra Impact Management. The solutions covered in this webinar can also be deployed for Microsoft Teams.
Interested in deploying notification automations for Bonterra Impact Management? Contact us at sales@sidekicksolutionsllc.com to discuss next steps.
Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
State of ICS and IoT Cyber Threat Landscape Report 2024 previewPrayukth K V
The IoT and OT threat landscape report has been prepared by the Threat Research Team at Sectrio using data from Sectrio, cyber threat intelligence farming facilities spread across over 85 cities around the world. In addition, Sectrio also runs AI-based advanced threat and payload engagement facilities that serve as sinks to attract and engage sophisticated threat actors, and newer malware including new variants and latent threats that are at an earlier stage of development.
The latest edition of the OT/ICS and IoT security Threat Landscape Report 2024 also covers:
State of global ICS asset and network exposure
Sectoral targets and attacks as well as the cost of ransom
Global APT activity, AI usage, actor and tactic profiles, and implications
Rise in volumes of AI-powered cyberattacks
Major cyber events in 2024
Malware and malicious payload trends
Cyberattack types and targets
Vulnerability exploit attempts on CVEs
Attacks on counties – USA
Expansion of bot farms – how, where, and why
In-depth analysis of the cyber threat landscape across North America, South America, Europe, APAC, and the Middle East

5. EA Process as it Exists
1. PROJECTS – project teams have different EA processes. Some
are vendor-driven. Some go through the EAG esp. those that
are complex and has unclear solutions.
2. SPECIALIZED TOOLS – OIRS coordinates with different SMEs for
clearance e.g. Infosec for websites, OIID for other non-
standard tools
3. IT EQUIPMENT – OIID reviews and clears request for hardware
equipment.
4. Demand Management team often solicits technology and
architecture advise from OIST teams through Yammer.
5. Review of ICT4D requests has recently been transferred to
SDCC – Digital Technology for Development Unit. However,
they still ask OIST for review of some request like IT
equipment, websites, etc.

* A digital replica of an actual infrastructure project before it is built.
** APIs (application programming interfaces) are sets of functions and procedures that help build applications to access the features or data of a particular system. An API platform helps expose and manage these
APIs.
