BMS - Additional Features
• User and User-group Mapping: Can be classified to different classes of users (backroom operators, store
supervisor, dc supervisor many more..) has the ability to map their functional needs to systemic capabilities
and limit the views to necessary details
• Multi-tenant mapping: Inventory can be owned by multiple players/enterprise ‘or’ brand could own the
inventory if the retailer operates in VMI mode
• Master Data (APIs): Has the ability to interface with other systems in the landscape through APIs to use
necessary information (Item master, POS etc..)
• Reporting and Audits: Since all activities are inherently task-based, there is a rich data set from which to
extract the most meaningful reports necessary to assist operations. E.g. Inventory accuracy reports,
consolidation reports, Space utilization reports, Task reports by Users and User groups etc..
• Movements between stores on transfer orders: Transfer order can be downloaded via interfaces or created on
the BMS. Which allows complete visibility and task based execution (pick, pack, ship, receive, put-away) at
source and destination stores with a single transfer order.
