The word robot can refer to both physical robots and virtual software agents, but the latter are usually referred to as bots. There is no consensus on which machines qualify as robots but there is general agreement among experts, and the public, that robots tend to do some or all of the following: move around, operate a mechanical limb, sense and manipulate their environment, and exhibit intelligent behavior - especially behavior which mimics humans or other animals. In practical terms, "robot" usually refers to a machine which can be electronically programmed to carry out a variety of physical tasks or actions. There is no one definition of robot that satisfies everyone and many people have their own. For example Joseph Engelberger, a pioneer in industrial robotics, once remarked: "I can't define a robot, but I know one when I see one." The two ways that robots differ from actual beings are, simply stated, in the domain of cognition, and in the domain of biological form. The general consensus is that a "robot" is a machine and not a being simply because it is not intelligent (it requires programming to function), regardless of how human-like it may appear. In contrast, an imaginary "machine" or "artificial life form" (as in science fiction) that could think near or above human intelligence, and had a sensory body, would no longer be a "robot" but would be some kind of "artificial being" or "cognitive robot", (see also cyborg).According to the Encyclopaedia Britannica, a robot is "any automatically operated machine that replaces human effort, though it may not resemble human beings in appearance or perform functions in a humanlike manner." Merriam-Webster describes a robot as a "machine that looks like a human being and performs various complex acts (as walking or talking) of a human being", or a "device that automatically performs complicated often repetitive tasks", or a "mechanism guided by automatic controls".

Spy robot is a Wi Fi controlled robot. A camera mounted on the robot sends real time video signals on to the user side, which can be seen on a display. Robot movements can be monitored looking at the display. Saving human life and providing security to the same both are two different aspects, but both are essential and instead mandatory. A robot is a sort of human replacement which is controlled by human itself. Areas where human cannot be sent, or life of human is endangered robots can be used in such cases. In various military applications and for security purposes our project can also provide live streaming of various on goings which the robot witness at the site. The more advanced features used in this spy robot is to climb the vertical and inclined surfaces, obstacle detector, night vision camera to detect the objects in darkness. Today, technology is developing at the same rate in line with rapidly increasing human needs. The efforts made to meet these needs make life easier with each passing day and these studies are concentrated on robotic arm studies. The robotic arms work with an external user or by performing predetermined commands. In this study, education health and so on. A field controlled picker robot is designed and applied. Realized picker robot one robot arm and 3 wheels. The robot arm, DC motor, distance sensor, line tracking sensor, L298N motor driver, arduino uno, 3.7V 3A lithium battery are mounted under and above this vehicle chassis. Line sensors allow the robot to start its movement within a certain area without allowing it to move out of the area. When the distance sensors in the front part of the vehicle detects an object within a certain distance, it stops the movement of the motors and starts the robot arm movement which is formed with the help of 4 servos. The robot arm bends to the front at an angle of 150 degrees from the initial state and squeezes the garbage in front of it with the handle. It then turns 180 degrees behind and leaves the object in its chamber. With this picker robot to be realized with this study, garbage collection, cleaning and so on. works can be realized unmanned. Generally, various risky tasks or certain difficult operations cannot be done completely by humans and thus there is need for change in present era. As robots play vital roles in different fields of industries, medical, colleges, home appliances, military and defence, thus robots can be good and effective option for such difficult purposes. The proposed work is to develop an all terrain robot prototype. The robots which are presently in the market works on simple terrains while this project claims to make a prototype which can work on plain surfaces as well as rough surfaces such as forests, hilly and rocky areas. In this project we have designed a humanoid robot by servo motors as its main motion provider & lithium polymer battery as its main source of power. Aluminum sheets have been used as a building block or body of the robot.
The designed robot is purpose for the assistance & to follow orders as per the instructions given to it by the help of arduino programming language on arduino circuit.
Ultrasonic sensor use for sensing obstruction in the path while walking & then diverting its path to avoid that obstructions.
This project shows the spectacular functions of robot its credibility & efficiency.Robotics is everything in the coming future, a robot can perform all the functions effectively and efficiently as per command given to them.

Therefore, we focus our research on the database part for such an IoT’ fridge which we called as smart Fridge. We describe the potentials achievable through a database for an IoT refrigerator to manage the refrigerator food and also aid the creation of a monthly budget of the house for a family. The paper aims at the data management issue based on a proposed design for an intelligent refrigerator leveraging the sensor technology and the wireless communication technology. The refrigerator which identifies products by reading the barcodes or RFID tags is proposed to order the required products by connecting to the Internet. Thus the goal of this paper is to minimize human interaction to maintain the daily life events.

The forces and moments are used as the boundary conditions for finite element model of the wishbone arm. By using these boundary conditions static analysis is carried out. Then making the load as a function of time; quasi-static analysis of the wishbone arm is carried out. A finite element based optimization is used to optimize the design of lower wishbone arm. Topology optimization and material optimization techniques are used to optimize lower wishbone arm design.

Application of FACTS controller called Static Synchronous Compensator STATCOM to improve the performance of power grid with Wind Farms is investigated .The essential feature of the STATCOM is that it has the ability to absorb or inject fastly the reactive power with power grid . Therefore the voltage regulation of the power grid with STATCOM FACTS device is achieved. Moreover restoring the stability of the power system having wind farm after occurring severe disturbance such as faults or wind farm mechanical power variation is obtained with STATCOM controller . The dynamic model of the power system having wind farm controlled by proposed STATCOM is developed . To validate the powerful of the STATCOM FACTS controller, the studied power system is simulated and subjected to different severe disturbances. The results prove the effectiveness of the proposed STATCOM controller in terms of fast damping the power system oscillations and restoring the power system stability.

Major influence on solar cell, intensity of source radiation and storage techniques The materials used in solar cell manufacturing limit the efficiency of solar cell. This makes it particularly difficult to make considerable improvements in the performance of the cell, and hence restricts the efficiency of the overall collection process. Therefore, the most attainable maximum power point tracking method of improving the performance of solar power collection is to increase the mean intensity of radiation received from the source used. The purposed of tracking system controls elevation and orientation angles of solar panels such that the panels always maintain perpendicular to the sunlight. The measured variables of our automatic system were compared with those of a fixed angle PV system. As a result of the experiment, the voltage generated by the proposed tracking system has an overall of about 28.11% more than the fixed angle PV system. There are three major approaches for maximizing power extraction in medium and large scale systems. They are sun tracking, maximum power point (MPP) tracking or both.

This circuit has short propagation delay and occupies a small chip area as compare to other current comparators. Power dissipation is a challenging problem for today's system-on-chip design and test. This paper presents a novel architecture which generates the test patterns with reduced switching activities; it has the advantage of low test power and low hardware overhead. The proposed LP-TPG (test pattern generator) structure consists of modified low power linear feedback shift register (LP-LFSR), m-bit counter, gray counter, NOR-gate structure and XOR-array. The seed generated from LP-LFSR is EXCLUSIVE-OR ed with the data generated from gray code generator. The XOR result of the sequence is single input changing (SIC) sequence, in turn reduces the switching activity and so power dissipation will be very less. The proposed architecture is simulated using Modelsim and synthesized using Xilinx ISE9.2.The Xilinx chip scope tool will be used to test the logic running on FPGA.

As discussed above about the Reactive Jammers Nodes, a new scheme to deactivate them efficiently is by identifying all trigger nodes, where transmissions invoke the jammer nodes, which has been proposed and developed. Due to this identification mechanism, many existing reactive jamming defending schemes can be benefited. This Trigger Identification can also work as an application layer .In this paper, on one side we provide the several optimization problems to provide complete trigger identification service framework for unreliable wireless sensor networks and on the other side we also provide an improved algorithm with regard to two sophisticated jamming models, in order to enhance its robustness for various network scenarios.

Abstract— The word robot can refer to both physical robots
and virtual software agents, but the latter are usually
referred to as bots. There is no consensus on which
machines qualify as robots but there is general agreement
among experts, and the public, that robots tend to do some
or all of the following: move around, operate a mechanical
limb, sense and manipulate their environment, and exhibit
intelligent behavior - especially behavior which mimics
humans or other animals. In practical terms, "robot" usually
refers to a machine which can be electronically programmed
to carry out a variety of physical tasks or actions. There is
no one definition of robot that satisfies everyone and many
people have their own. For example Joseph Engelberger, a
pioneer in industrial robotics, once remarked: "I can't define
a robot, but I know one when I see one." The two ways that
robots differ from actual beings are, simply stated, in the
domain of cognition, and in the domain of biological form.
The general consensus is that a "robot" is a machine and not
a being simply because it is not intelligent (it requires
programming to function), regardless of how human-like it
may appear. In contrast, an imaginary "machine" or
"artificial life form" (as in science fiction) that could think
near or above human intelligence, and had a sensory body,
would no longer be a "robot" but would be some kind of
"artificial being" or "cognitive robot", (see also
cyborg).According to the Encyclopaedia Britannica, a robot
is "any automatically operated machine that replaces human
effort, though it may not resemble human beings in
appearance or perform functions in a humanlike manner."
Merriam-Webster describes a robot as a "machine that looks
like a human being and performs various complex acts (as
walking or talking) of a human being", or a "device that
automatically performs complicated often repetitive tasks",
or a "mechanism guided by automatic controls".

I. INTRODUCTION
The idea of automata originates in the mythologies of many
cultures around the world. Engineers and inventors from
ancient civilizations, including Ancient China, Ancient
Greece, and Ptolemaic Egypt,[11]
attempted to build self-
operating machines, some resembling animals and humans.
Early descriptions of automata include the artificial doves of
Archytas, the artificial birds of Mozi and Lu Ban,[13]
a
"speaking" automaton by Hero of Alexandria, a washstand
automaton by Philo of Byzantium, and a human automaton
described in the Lie Zi.
II. MOBILE ROBOT

A mobile robot is an automatic machine that is
capable of locomotion.
A spying robot is an example of a mobile robot
capable of movement in a given environment.
Mobile robots have the capability to move around
in their environment and are not fixed to one physical
location. By contrast, industrial robots are usually more-or-
less stationary, consisting of a jointed arm (multi-linked
manipulator) and gripper assembly (or end effector),
attached to a fixed surface. Mobile robots are a major focus
of current research and almost every major university has
one or more labs that focus on mobile robot research.[2]
Mobile robots are also found in industrial, military and
security settings. Domestic robots are consumer products,
including entertainment robots and those that perform
certain household tasks such as vacuuming or gardening.
III. CLASSIFICATION
A. Mobile robots may be classified by:
1) The environment in which they travel:
Land or home robots are usually referred to as
Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs). They are
most commonly wheeled or tracked, but also
include legged robots with two or more legs
(humanoid, or resembling animals or insects).
Aerial robots are usually referred to as Unmanned
Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
Underwater robots are usually called autonomous
underwater vehicles (AUVs)

IV. METHOLOGY
A. Autonomously guided robot
Robot developers use ready-made autonomous bases and
software to design robot applications quickly. Shells shaped
like people or cartoon characters may cover the base to
disguise it.[4]

autonomously guided robot knows at least some information
about where it is and how to reach various goals and or
waypoints along the way. "Localization" or knowledge of its
current location, is calculated by one or more means, using
sensors such motor encoders, vision, Stereopsis, lasers and
global positioning systems. Positioning systems often use
triangulation, relative position and/or Monte-Carlo/Markov
localization to determine the location and orientation of the
platform, from which it can plan a path to its next waypoint
or goal. It can gather sensor readings that are time- and
location-stamped, so that a hospital, for instance, can know
exactly when and where radiation levels exceeded
permissible levels. Such robots are often part of the wireless
enterprise network, interfaced with other sensing and control
systems in the building. For instance, the PatrolBot security
robot responds to alarms, operates elevators.

are devices remotely operated from a distance by a human
operator rather than following a predetermined sequence of
movements, but which has semi-
autonomous behaviour. They are used when a human cannot
be present on site to perform a job because it is dangerous,
far away, or inaccessible. The robot may be in another room
or another country, or may be on a very different scale to the
operator. For instance, a laparoscopic surgery robot allows
the surgeon to work inside a human patient on a relatively
small scale compared to open surgery, significantly
shortening recovery time. They can also be used to avoid
exposing workers to the hazardous and tight spaces such as
in duct cleaning. When disabling a bomb, the operator sends
a small robot to disable it. Several authors have been using a
device called the Longpen to sign books remotely.
Teleoperated robot aircraft, like the Predator Unmanned
Aerial Vehicle, are increasingly being used by the military.
These pilotless drones can search terrain and fire on targets.
Hundreds of robots such as iRobot's Packbot and the Foster-
Miller TALON are being used in Iraq and Afghanistan by
the U.S. military to defuse roadside bombs or improvised
explosive devices (IEDs) in an activity known as explosive
ordnance disposal (EOD).
VI. CONCLUSION
Some experts and academics have questioned the use of
robots for military combat, especially when such robots are
given some degree of autonomous functions. There are also
concerns about technology which might allow some armed
robots to be controlled mainly by other robots. The US Navy
has funded a report which indicates that, as military robots
become more complex, there should be greater attention to
implications of their ability to make autonomous decisions.
One researcher states that autonomous robots might be more
humane, as they could make decisions more effectively.
However, other experts question this. One robot in
particular, the EATR, has generated public concerns over its
fuel source, as it can continually refuel itself using organic
substances. Although the engine for the EATR is designed
to run on biomass and vegetation specifically selected by its
sensors, which it can find on battlefields or other local
environments, the project has stated that chicken fat can also
be used. Manuel De Landa has noted that "smart missiles"
and autonomous bombs equipped with artificial perception
can be considered robots, as they make some of their
decisions autonomously. He believes this represents an
important and dangerous trend in which humans are handing
over important decisions to machines.
