Viewers within the Rival Peak app were presented with a variety of ways to interact with the story and enjoy it their own way.
In addition to every minute watched contributing towards their favorite contestants, there were also additional ways for them to interact:
Enjoy the individual growth and
twisting story arc of each of the
characters, and catch up with
previous plot points on days you've
not been able to log in.
Participate in daily votes that range
from forcing a specific character to
make an action to changing the
weather or having their food stolen by
wild animals.
Infuence the decision-making of
the contestants on what their
next action might be - solving
puzzles or getting a bite to eat.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
When the dead rose, Prosper Landing – a remote
coastal Alaskan town – found itself isolated.
Survivors put their faith in methods both old and
new to save their home. The inhabitants are
among the few remaining survivors of the
undead onslaught.
But now they’re facing the harshest winter yet and
hordes of walkers bearing down on them – while they
fight among themselves for resources and authority.
Who will survive long enough to face the new threat
closing in?

Align yourself with a faction, choose from one of 12 different
skill sets, and create your survivor.
Your survivor can be sent on quests to help contribute to the
community and build up your own Influence Points. Survivors
may appear in cinematic cutscenes and be immortalized as
part of the official TWD canon.
But be careful, riskier assignments could put your survivor on
the receiving end of a walker bite!
Send your survivor on missions
when you’re done playing for
the day, and they will help you
generate Influence Points while
you’re away!
Many of your interactions with TWD: Last Mile will generate
Influence Points. You can use these points to bid on
decisions large and small, impacting the story as it happens.

Prologue Act II Act III
The story begins on July 11th with Yvette’s first
interactive stream. The Instant Game also
launches in open beta on the same day,
beginning our four-week Prologue phase.
TWD: Last Mile is an experience designed to
be shaped by the fans, and the Prologue sets
up the story to come, while providing an
opportunity for collecting and implementing
fan feedback.
This will be followed by a two-week hiatus,
where development will focus on feature
expansion and general gameplay polish.
The story then kicks into high gear with
three four-week “Acts” that will air
consecutively through mid-November,
resulting in one of the most epic storylines
within The Walking Dead universe.

Hit the score milestones, watch multiple characters and stay active to collect all of the achievements throughout the season. Anything can happen on Rival Peak, and viewers can channel their performance in a match 3 minigame into sending tools, food, or even evil surprises for the contestants to deal with. Survivors put their faith in methods both old and new to save their home. The inhabitants are among the few remaining survivors of the undead onslaught. But now they’re facing the harshest winter yet and hordes of walkers bearing down on them – while they fight among themselves for resources and authority. Your survivor can be sent on quests to help contribute to the community and build up your own Influence Points. Survivors may appear in cinematic cutscenes and be immortalized as part of the official TWD canon. But be careful, riskier assignments could put your survivor on the receiving end of a walker bite! Send your survivor on missions when you’re done playing for the day, and they will help you generate Influence Points while you’re away! Many of your interactions with TWD: Last Mile will generate Influence Points. You can use these points to bid on decisions large and small, impacting the story as it happens. The Instant Game also launches in open beta on the same day, beginning our four-week Prologue phase. TWD: Last Mile is an experience designed to be shaped by the fans, and the Prologue sets up the story to come, while providing an opportunity for collecting and implementing fan feedback. This will be followed by a two-week hiatus, where development will focus on feature expansion and general gameplay polish. The story then kicks into high gear with three four-week “Acts” that will air consecutively through mid-November, resulting in one of the most epic storylines within The Walking Dead universe.
