Kevin Ntueba conducted a questionnaire with 50 participants to research audiences for a horror trailer. Most participants were between 16-18 years old. The majority were Black and watched horror and thriller genres most frequently. Hip hop and R&B were the most popular music genres among participants. Based on the results, Kevin plans to aim the trailer at a black and mixed race audience between 16-late 20s who enjoy horror and thriller genres.

2. Gender
I asked 27 males and 23 females to complete my questionnaire, I did intend of getting
an equal amount but the surveys gathered were done over two days with people who
actually wanted to take the survey instead of people doing it to make the numbers.

Out of the 50 people who completed my survey the most popular/dominant group
were 16 to 18 year olds. The least popular were 11 to 16 year olds. Through my
survey I've noticed that 16 to late 20’s is the age group I should be aiming for as they
are more likely to watch it.

4. Ethnicity
From the 50 people I asked to fill out the survey the majority them were Black, the
least common ones were Asian, this diversity in race is something I may look back on
when comparing it to the other results. This has also made me decide to maybe aim
my horror trailer to a black and mixed race audience.

5. Genre
I asked what Genre people watched most and horror came out as the most popular, I
asked that the participants only voted for one genre to ensure that they picked the
one they watched more often. Sci-fi films and other genres such as indie, and cowboy
movies came in at the bottom end with barely any votes. Thriller however, did well
and came in second in terms o votes, something worth considering when deciding
whether I should do a duo-genre trailer.

6. Music Genre
The most popular genre of music with the participants were RnB and Hip Hop, Id
noticed that media influence has narrowed in on those genres of music making it
widely more popular. This diversity in the range of music the participants listen to
will be worth looking back on in terms of deciding what audiences to aim for.
