Overview of Resource Use
SMARTboard Examples
● This SMARTboard interactive
game allows students to fill in
the inputs and outputs for
Glycolysis using the supplies
on the right hand side of the
slide.
● One activity would be to put
students in groups and have
them come up one group at a
time to see if they could
complete it.
SMARTboard Examples cont.
● This is an example on Alcoholic
Fermentation after Glycolysis.
● This also allows students to come up
to the SMARTboard and fill in their
answers by dragging and dropping the
supplies needed on the right hand side
of the slide.
● I’d have them come up to fill this in so
that on a test they know visually
exactly what goes where and they
have physically done it before so they
won’t be surprised when a question
such as this shows up on a test.
1. Since SMARTboards are so variable and interactive,
they can be used for almost any classroom.
2. To make a regular PowerPoint lecture more interesting,
this lesson plan drives students to be hands on learners.
3. This SMARTboard lesson plan is more of an interactive
game than a lecture.
4. It gets students out of their seats and they can participate
in fun creative ways.

Universal design is a classroom
that accounts for every kind of
learner.
This SMARTboard lesson plan
allows individuals to participate if
they feel they want to or sit back
and listen if that is the type of
learner they are.
When learners are given
opportunities to learn based on
they way they feel most
comfortable and successful, the
whole classroom benefits.
SMARTboard technology can allow
for more interactive types of
learning and lecturing since studies
have shown that most students
benefit from that type of learning.
