SNAPCHAT 
 Snapchat is a photo messaging app 
 Users can take photos and videos, then add drawing and text, 
then send said “snap” to a list of friends 
 Users can also set a time limit for their photos to be viewed, once 
viewed they are deleted.
SNAPCHAT INFO 
 As of May 2014 users were sending 700 million photos and 
videos per day!! 
 As of June 2014 “stories” were viewed 1 billion times per day.
HOW IT CAN BE USED 
 As of October 2014, Snapchat has started putting advertisements 
on Snapchat. 
 The good thing about these advertisements is that they aren't 
banner ads but, ads incorporated into “Recent Updates” on 
Snapchat 
 These ads may or may not interest the user and you have a 
choice to watch them 
 Never will these ads go into personal snaps or videos
SNAPCHAT THE NEXT BIG THING 
 Researchers believe that Snapchat is going to continue to grow 
and expand. 
 So why advertise on Snapchat? 
 Snapchat has millions if not billions of users 
 Ads are brand new to Snapchat, so be the leading force 
 These advertisements aren't in your face, but they are there for a full 
24 hours
 To the right is where the advertisement 
would go, it would even say it was sponsored!!! 
 So next time you look at your marketing 
plan consider Snapchat!

  • 2. SNAPCHAT  Snapchat is a photo messaging app  Users can take photos and videos, then add drawing and text, then send said “snap” to a list of friends  Users can also set a time limit for their photos to be viewed, once viewed they are deleted.
  • 3. SNAPCHAT INFO  As of May 2014 users were sending 700 million photos and videos per day!!  As of June 2014 “stories” were viewed 1 billion times per day.
  • 4. HOW IT CAN BE USED  As of October 2014, Snapchat has started putting advertisements on Snapchat.  The good thing about these advertisements is that they aren't banner ads but, ads incorporated into “Recent Updates” on Snapchat  These ads may or may not interest the user and you have a choice to watch them  Never will these ads go into personal snaps or videos
  • 5. SNAPCHAT THE NEXT BIG THING  Researchers believe that Snapchat is going to continue to grow and expand.  So why advertise on Snapchat?  Snapchat has millions if not billions of users  Ads are brand new to Snapchat, so be the leading force  These advertisements aren't in your face, but they are there for a full 24 hours
  • 6.  To the right is where the advertisement would go, it would even say it was sponsored!!!  So next time you look at your marketing plan consider Snapchat!
