8. Direction: The teacher will group the class into 3. Each group will be given 2
strips of paper containing the personnel in a stage production. Each group will
choose a leader to act in front the role of the picked personnel. Group members
will guess the role portrayed by the leader. The group with the shortest time
wins the game.
9. Direction: With the same groupings, each group will pick a
number and answer the items in 5 seconds. The team will have to
decide whether to keep the box or give the box to the other team.
The points inside the box can be good or bad.

19. • Producer – In a professional stage
production, this is the person who
takes the play from a mere concept
to an actual finished presentation.
20. • Director – The director is the
overall artistic coordinator of the
entire production.
21. • Playwright – For a script intended
for stage performance, the writer of
the script is more specifically
called a playwright.
22. • Set designer – The concept and
creation of the physical stage setup
is the task of the set designer.
23. • Lighting designer – Lighting is
critical in creating the mood of each
scene in the play, high lighting a
dramatic moment, signaling the
entrance of a character, focusing
attention on a specific spot on stage,
or even providing the blanket of
darkness for set and prop changes.
24. • Costume designer – The actors and
actresses must look believable in their
roles, and much of this is owed to the
costume designer and deliberates on the
characters’ main attire. @Sound designer
– the sound designer serves a vital role in
creating and enhancing the atmosphere
of the performance.

Coordinating all the complex
behindthe-scenes details of staging
a play is the production manager

director shadows the play’s director
throughout the entire production
process.
27. • Choreographer – In cases where a
play involves dance in certain
scenes, a choreographer is included
in the production team.
28. • Makeup designer – is brought in to
plan the hairstyles and makeup to
complement the costumes.
29. Imagine that the whole class are chosen to produce a runway
fashion show. Each member will plan and create a production
team. Group yourselves according to your choice of production
staff. Give a brief idea on your chosen role. Write your output in a
piece of paper.
