2. Jahron Anthony Braithwaite or more commonly known as
PartyNextDoor, is an American rapper, singer and producer from
Ontario, Canada. During his teen years, he began producing R&B
using the FL Studio application (which is where he found his name due
to an audio setting). At the young age of 18, he got signed to
Warner/Chappell Music. This gave him the exposure necessary to work
with Drake. He was then signed by Drake to OVO Sound and released
his first mixtape, ‘PARTYNEXTDOOR’ in 2013. As he also collaborated
with Drake this gave him more popularity which allowed him to produce
his debut album ‘PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO’ a year later. His break
through song was Recognise (feat. Drake) which charted on Billboard.
The genre of his music is R&B/Hip-Hop, which allows him to
collaborate with other big artists in this genre to give himself exposure.
He has a large following on social media where he interacts with his
fans. He has over 730,000 followers on Twitter and 1.1 million on
Soundcloud. He is on tour with another massive R&B artist, Jeremih,
which promotes both of them as they both have a large following and
the fans of both artists would be willing to go to their concerts.
