This document provides instructions for performing artificial respiration using four different methods: 1) The Schaefer method involves laying the victim prone and kneeling over them to compress the lower ribs and force air from the lungs. 2) Silvester's method is used if the victim cannot lay prone, involving pressing the victim's arms to force air from the lungs. 3) Nelson's ARM method involves rocking forward while pressing on the victim's back to force air out. 4) The mouth-to-mouth method involves pinching the victim's nose, making an airtight seal over their mouth, and blowing air into the lungs until the chest rises.
