Health is the fundamental issue behind all strength. It
has to be acquired through a process and not through
quick means people accept responsibility for their
own level of well-being.
What is one thing desired of all humans?
Total good health &
Wellbeing can be achieved
By understanding the whole
person in a perspective
that includes physical,
mental, emotional, social
and spiritual dimensions.
Present Day Living
The present times of living under
high stress, work pressure, family
pressure, fast life, competition,
Immune breakdown & pollution have
made us quite different than what we
wanted to be. These problems have
become a normal part of our life.
Many things that happen in your life
can disrupt your emotional, mental
health and overall health.
WHY WE SUFFER-Unhealthy Life Style
 Irregular,& Irresponsible eating
Habits.
 Lack Of Physical Exercise.
 Physical,emotional & mental
Stress.
 Over Dependence On Medication &
Or Self Medication
 Bad Habits.
Impact Of Unhealthy Life style
Tip for good Health & Happiness
Drink 2 glasses of water and attend to Natural calls. Any thing you do at
a particular time every day for at least ten days continuously ,it becomes.
Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily
-Water is a natural diuretic which washes away all the accumulated
waste like mucus from lungs ,intestine other eliminative organs.
-Maintains the body temperature.
-Helps in absorption of essential nutrients.
-Without water cell does not grow, multiply and maintain.
-Maintains optimal functions Of Digestive system.
-Carries oxygen & Nutrients to cells.
Take 2-3 tbsp. Curd on empty stomach early in the morning
Alkaline Diet
 Have adequate spacing between meals
and an early Light Dinner.
 Eat Cereals, pulses, whole grains, in
rotation, especially ragi for calcium.
 Eat plenty of fresh fruit & Vegetables, &
green leafy ones. Peel the fruit as little
as possible.
 Cut down your fat intake, pulses, nuts
and seeds, and cheese.
Cut down your sugar intake. Avoid
cakes, sweets, chocolates, biscuits,
puddings, ice-creams, jam, fruits canned
in syrup, soft drinks.
Cut down your salt intake. Instead of adding salt to your food
use herbs, spices, fresh ginger, lemon juice, tomato puree,
vegetable stock, chutney, and other flavorings.
Cut down your consumption of processed food to avoid the
“empty calories" of saturated fats, added sugar, refined cereal
grains, food additives & preservatives.
Avoid processed food, refined food, food additives/
preservatives.
Turn off the TV if you’re eating fast food at home.
Enjoy eating.

physical discipline. It is a
way of life.
RELAXATION
Practice Relaxation at least for 20mts. daily.
Meditation is a delightful and Spontaneous thing to do. It is the
Continual act of making friends with Yourself, you cannot just contain
that friendship within you, and you must have some outlet, which is
your relationship with the world. So compassion becomes a bridge to
the world outside. Trust and compassion for our self bring inspiration
to dance with life, to communicate with the energies of the world.
Laugh daily for 10 mts. At least.
Laughter's Effects on the Body
Increases the Blood flow.
Improves Immune response.
Lowers Blood sugar levels.
Facilitates Relaxation and sleep.
SLEEP
 Have 6-8 hours of sleep daily.
Try to go to bed latest by at least
10 p.m
 Immerse your feet in hot water
for 15mts. before
Going to bed.
 Take a glass of milk with pinch
of nutmeg powder.
Mental Health
It’s important to take care of our self & get the
most from life.
Mental health is about the way we think & feel
and our ability to deal with ups &downs.
Everything in life depends on your mental
attitude & the important thing to remember is
that you control your mental attitude.
Attitude-towards self and to words the
world you live
 Do some kind voluntary service to the
underprivileged. In serving others who are in need of
help. In fact in giving we receive.
 Develop an attitude of gratitude. Learn to say Thank
you as many times as possible.
 Have limitations to your expectations and be content
with what you have.
We are responsible for what we are, and
whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the
power to make ourselves. I f what we are now
has been the result of our own past actions, it
certainly follows that whatever we wish to be
in future can be produced by our present
actions; so we have to know how to act.”

  • 2. What is one thing desired of all humans ? Health is the fundamental issue behind all strength. It has to be acquired through a process and not through quick means people accept responsibility for their own level of well-being.
  • 3. What is one thing desired of all humans? Total good health & Wellbeing can be achieved By understanding the whole person in a perspective that includes physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual dimensions.
  • 4. Present Day Living The present times of living under high stress, work pressure, family pressure, fast life, competition, Immune breakdown & pollution have made us quite different than what we wanted to be. These problems have become a normal part of our life. Many things that happen in your life can disrupt your emotional, mental health and overall health.
  • 5. WHY WE SUFFER-Unhealthy Life Style  Irregular,& Irresponsible eating Habits.  Lack Of Physical Exercise.  Physical,emotional & mental Stress.  Over Dependence On Medication & Or Self Medication  Bad Habits.

  • 7. Tip for good Health & Happiness Drink 2 glasses of water and attend to Natural calls. Any thing you do at a particular time every day for at least ten days continuously ,it becomes. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily -Water is a natural diuretic which washes away all the accumulated waste like mucus from lungs ,intestine other eliminative organs. -Maintains the body temperature. -Helps in absorption of essential nutrients. -Without water cell does not grow, multiply and maintain. -Maintains optimal functions Of Digestive system. -Carries oxygen & Nutrients to cells. Take 2-3 tbsp. Curd on empty stomach early in the morning

Alkaline Diet  Have adequate spacing between meals and an early Light Dinner.  Eat Cereals, pulses, whole grains, in rotation, especially ragi for calcium.  Eat plenty of fresh fruit & Vegetables, & green leafy ones. Peel the fruit as little as possible.  Cut down your fat intake, pulses, nuts and seeds, and cheese. Cut down your sugar intake. Avoid cakes, sweets, chocolates, biscuits, puddings, ice-creams, jam, fruits canned in syrup, soft drinks.
  • 9. Cut down your salt intake. Instead of adding salt to your food use herbs, spices, fresh ginger, lemon juice, tomato puree, vegetable stock, chutney, and other flavorings. Cut down your consumption of processed food to avoid the “empty calories" of saturated fats, added sugar, refined cereal grains, food additives & preservatives. Avoid processed food, refined food, food additives/ preservatives. Turn off the TV if you’re eating fast food at home. Enjoy eating.
  • 10. Stress & Strain Stress is a condition or feeling experienced when a person perceives that “demands exceed the personal and social resources the individual is able to mobilize.” -Hans Selye “stress is not necessarily Something bad – it all depends on how you take it.
  • 11. Resolving Stress-Techniques Yogasanas,Pranayama & Relaxation Techniques To Handle Stress & Develop a right outlook towards life
  • 12. Physical Activity-Walking ,Yoga & work-outs Yoga is more than just a physical discipline. It is a way of life.
  • 13. RELAXATION Practice Relaxation at least for 20mts. daily. Meditation is a delightful and Spontaneous thing to do. It is the Continual act of making friends with Yourself, you cannot just contain that friendship within you, and you must have some outlet, which is your relationship with the world. So compassion becomes a bridge to the world outside. Trust and compassion for our self bring inspiration to dance with life, to communicate with the energies of the world.
  • 14. Laugh daily for 10 mts. At least. Laughter's Effects on the Body Increases the Blood flow. Improves Immune response. Lowers Blood sugar levels. Facilitates Relaxation and sleep.
  • 15. SLEEP  Have 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Try to go to bed latest by at least 10 p.m  Immerse your feet in hot water for 15mts. before Going to bed.  Take a glass of milk with pinch of nutmeg powder.

Mental Health It’s important to take care of our self & get the most from life. Mental health is about the way we think & feel and our ability to deal with ups &downs. Everything in life depends on your mental attitude & the important thing to remember is that you control your mental attitude.
  • 18. Attitude-towards self and to words the world you live  Do some kind voluntary service to the underprivileged. In serving others who are in need of help. In fact in giving we receive.  Develop an attitude of gratitude. Learn to say Thank you as many times as possible.  Have limitations to your expectations and be content with what you have.

I f what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act.” -Swami Vivekananda
