Why Sherman Burned Georgia To The Ground
The North takes a lead with Sherman behind it all. On February 17, 1865 Sherman captures
South Carolina leading him up to burn Georgia to the ground. From Atlanta to Savannah,
Sherman covers 450 miles in 50 days leaving a 40 by 50 mile wide path of destruction. Some
people refer to it as Sherman s March To The Sea . William Sherman becomes the terror of the
South as he burns everything in his path. William Sherman believed that capturing Georgia would
be effective and psychological as fighting. Sherman then has his troops circle Atlanta in July,
forcing Hood to abandon Georgia on September 1, 1864. He captures Georgia the next day which
was a major part of Sherman s March Towards Sea because Atlanta had railroads and was the
industrial center of Georgia. Another reason Sherman burned Georgia to the ground is because
Atlanta had warehouses that stored most of the Confederate Army s food. Burning most of... Show

Only to reach Savannah and find it well defended. On December 13 a Union division lead by
William B. Hazen captures Fort McAllister located on the coastline of Georgia. This allowed
Sherman s men to link up with the Navy Ships holding supplies. They prepared to surround the
town of Savannah and the Confederate forces escaped, forcing the city to surrender to Sherman on
December 21. Born in Lancaster Ohio on February 8th, 1820. William Tecumseh Sherman was
named after Shawnee Chief Tecumseh. His dad passed away when Sherman was just 9, then to be
raised by family friends and his mother. Going on to study at the U.S. Military Academy in West
Point New York. William Sherman resigned from the army in 1853. William joins a banking firm in
San Francisco which turns out to be unsuccessful. When the Civil War broke out Sherman resigns
from banking and with the help of his brother Senator John Sherman he gets an appointment that

A Report On The S 10 Pickup Truck
On Thursday, 4/14/2016, at approximately 5:55 P.M. I was dispatched to 1909 Hemlock Drive in
reference to someone discharging a firearm. Dispatch advised that a neighbor witnesses the
incident and that the two white males were getting into a vehicle. The vehicle was described as
black, Chevrolet S 10 pickup truck.
Upon my arrival to Hemlock drive I located the residence and observed a black, Chevrolet S 10
parked in the yard with the passenger door open. There vehicle was unoccupied. As I approached
the house two white males exited the front door of the house. One of the males, identified as
Patrick Duffy, was holding a pitt bull by the collar. I ordered both males to stop and to put their
hands in the air. Duffy put his free hand in the air and the second male, identified as Nicholas Gale,
complied with my commands by putting both hands in the air.
I performed a terry frisk on Nicholas Gale and then ordered him to place his hands on the back of
the S 10. I allowed Duffy to place the dog in the house while I accompanied him. After the dog
was secured inside the house I performed a terry frisk on Duffy and detained him by placing him
in handcuffs. I told Duffy to sit on the ground and Gale to sit on the tail gate of the S 10.
A short time later Officer Parker #52 and Officer Stirrat #50 arrived at my location. After both
officers arrived I took the handcuffs off of Duffy. I informed Duffy that I was investigating a
person shooting a firearm. Duffy then made the

Price Value Of A Product Or Service
First of all, price represents the value of a good or service for both seller and buyer. The value
attached to a good or service is based on both tangible elements (such as product quality and
benefits) as well as intangible elements (the feel good factor taken into consideration for luxury
products). Price is the only element in the marketingmix that produces revenue; all other elements
represent costs. (Sallie Phillips, 2015, p.99); it also represents a relevant factor in the decision to
purchase a product or a service. It affects both the sales volume and profit.
Establishing the value of a product or service is not easy. A wide variety of relevant factors such as
the cost of goods or services, the market factors, sales volume, competition, economic conditions,
must be taken into consideration. Although, price desideratum is an ideal hard to reach, the price
should be high enough to cover the costs and generate revenue.Pricing it may have different
guidelines. The most relevant pricing strategies are cost based pricing, value based pricing, and
competition based pricing.
The cost based pricing strategy is determined by the total product cost plus an individual profit.
The most significant advantage of this approach is that it guarantees to cover the costs of the
production of the good or service. The price is made by various types of costs (fixed costs and
variable costs). Fixed costs do not vary depending on the level of production and sales. For
example, a company

A Good Man Is Hard For Find By Flannery O Connor
In A Good Man Is Hard to Find , Flannery O Connor presents to the readers an uncanny encounter
between a murderer named The Misfit and a grandmother. The two characters when first
introduced seem to be antithesis of each other. This misfit is described as a murderer who seems to
have no morals or feelings, while the grandmother seems to embody a good Christian woman.
Throughout the plot, it is known that the misfit is not much of a believer and the grandmother is.
Due to the fact that O Connor wrote a lot about religion, it is not hard to figure out the connection
she tries to make between the characters and religion. In A Good Man Is Hard to Find , Flannery
O Connor uses both the misfit s and the grandmother s circumstances and behavior in order to show
the readers how the old and new generations feel towards religion. Throughout the plot she uses the
Misfit to portray the new generation and uses the grandmother to portray the older generation. O
Connor talks about the generations in such ways that show that the older generations seemed to
believe heavily in religion but in the wrong way, and the new generation is misguided with little to
no religious affiliations. From the beginning, the grandmother seems to be an old fashioned
southern lady who is the epitome of a good Christian woman. She puts up a front that makes her
seem like a true Christian, when in reality she is not really strong in her beliefs up until her
confrontation with the misfit. Before the

Over the past three decades, China has been undergoing economic reforms and changes to its
political structure from communism towards a more market oriented system. It s changing political
structure has been described in various terms such as pro growth authoritarianism (Lai, 2010), a
variegated form of state permeated capitalism(Brink, 2013), refurbished state capitalism (McNally,
2013), and a social capitalist model (Degen, 2011). All these terms suggest that China has been
shifting towards a more market oriented system but continue to take a state centric approach. Deng
Xiaoping described this system as a Socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics. This
hybrid social capitalist or social communist model (Sigley, 2006; Wu,... Show more content on

Thus, this paper examines the complications of China s political structure and aims to determine if
it is economically beneficial.
In order to clearly understand the implications of this political structure on China s economy, this
paper will discuss the following sections:
1.What is China s current GDP growth rate?
2.What is China s political structure like?
3.Are there underlying problems arising from its political structure?
4.What is the impact on its economy?
What is China s current GDP Growth rate?
China s economy has been largely influenced by political activities before the 1990s. Several
economic reforms had already been put in to place since 1978 but the defining change was only
triggered in 1992 with the speech by Mr. Deng Xiaoping, where he affirmed the nation of their shift
towards a market oriented system (Chen, Quan, Liu, 2013).
Empirical data represented in Figure 1a 1b shows the rapid change in China s Gross Domestic
Product (GDP) and Consumer Price Index (CPI) that started from 1992 (Chen, Quan, Liu, 2013). It
has a relatively high average GDP growth of 10% per year over the last 30 years and its greatest
increase occurred between 2001 and 2007 with an average of 11.6% (Malkiel, et al., 2008). This
equates to a GDP growth increase of nearly

The Differences between Logical, Ethical and Dialectical...
The Differences Between Logical, Ethical, and Dialectical Reasoning
The ways human think are one of the most distinct differences amongst us all. No single person
entire thought process is the same as someone else because every one comprehends differently.
The way we think makes us who we are and the decisions we make are based off our thought
process. We reason logically, ethically, or dialectically to come to a final decision. Logical, ethical,
and dialectical reasoning all serve a different purpose to help us reason the world around us.
Logical is a Greek word logos which means reason. Logical reasoning is defined as the logic
relating to the formal processes used in thinking and reasoning . It is an ability to think ... Show

Deductive reasoning is similar to inductive reasoning because it is some what based off
assumption. Abductive reasoning is also similar to deductive reasoning. The information given
is used to come up with the best, most logical answer. For example a jar can be filled with
cookies one minute, the next minute it can be empty. One can assume, the last one seen with a
cookie is John so John ate all the cookies. Although John was last seen with a cookie, it does not
conclude that John ate all of the cookies. The purpose of logical reasoning is to make a
conclusion that is feasible and has some supporting evidence to assume the outcome. Logical
reasoning is also used in formal and informal reasoning. Formal reasoning is similar to deductive
reasoning, which is based on valid premises and therefore valid conclusions... It provides no new
information, but only rearranges known information to a new conclusion . In other words, if the
original statement is true then necessarily the conclusion should be true as well. It does not provide
any new information just a rearrangement of previous information just like deductive reasoning.
Informal reasoning possesses all the elements of formal reasoning, like the deduction part, however
it also includes probabilities and truths about premises and conclusion . It is very similar to
abductive reasoning because the truth may seem obvious based of the likelihood of the

Great Expectations Pip Quotes Growing Up
The Molding of the Main Character Pause you who read this, and think for a moment of the long
chain of iron or gold, of thorns or flowers, that would never have bound you, but for the formation
of the first link on one memorable day. (Dickens 72). In his classic novel, Great Expectations,
Charles Dickens creates a platform to support and embolden the main character, Pip, with this
single, decisive quote. Throughout the novel, the ever important gold or iron chain of Pip is
molded into something new, much like Pip himself. The examination of Pip s growth and maturity
in relation to the quote reveals a critical, memorable moment at Satis House, a catalyst consisting of
a handsome property and a mysterious benefactor, and the long, hard journey... Show more content

As most main characters, Pip had humble beginnings, with a misconception of even his own
name; My father s family name being Pip, and my Christian name Philip, my infant tongue
could make of both names nothing longer of more explicit than Pip. (Dickens 9). Most would
agree that not understanding one s own name, even as a child, can be described as common .
And yet, that is why Dicken s gives the main character a name like that, so he will carry it with
him as he grows and leaves his home. It serves as a reminder to the reader of Pip s humble
beginnings. However, humble beginnings aren t as impressive without an achievement later in
life. Pip s achievement of growing into an impressive gentleman is most evident when a friend
from his childhood refers to him as a superior, in the quote, Which do not overdo it, Pip, said
Joe; but I shall be happy fur to see you able, sir. The last word grated on me; but how could I
remonstrate! (Dickens 436). In this quote, Joe shows that Pip has grown into a full fledged
gentleman, and that while seemingly repaired, his relationship with Joe, and in turn his childhood,
is not undamaged. Indeed, all journeys include some sort of damage, and one is never complete
without the main character attempting to repair said damage by beseeching the family they had
once turned their back on for forgiveness, as Pip does when he says, And now though I

The Oxford Dictionary defines samsara as The cycle of death and rebirth to which life in the
material world is bound .(Samsara) Siddhartha finds himself in this material world after falling in
love with kamada, a female escort. He goes against many of his former beliefs and gives in to
the pleasures of wealth and what goes along with it, such as gambling and self pride. Siddhartha
ultimately realizes his error in becoming entangled in the material world and would get no closer
to enlightenment in continuing this life from his dreams. It is in one of these dreams that he find
kamala s songbird dead in its cage. He throws the songbird into the street as if discarding of the
good in his life. He wakes up from this dream with the realization of his wrong doings. He leaves
the city and all the negative associations it came with in order to continue his pursuit of reaching
enlightenment. Throughout the end of his journey Siddhartha continues to miss his son. From
seeing and envying children with their parents and a man with his wife he grasps the love that
ordinary people feel. Sidhartha being consumed by his grief plans to go to Samsara again to find

Transformer 5 The Last Knight
With Transformers 5: The Last Knight coming out next year, Autobot fans are getting anxious.
Anxious to find out what Josh Duhamel and the rest of the gang are going to be up against. Which
is why the cast of Michael Bay s movie is going to be huge.
Aside from giving off a medieval vibe, Transformers 5: The Last Knight is also giving off an elite
energy. With Josh Duhamel returning to the Transformers franchise as Lieutenant Colonel William
Lennox, Mark Wahlberg thinks this is going to be good.
In the middle of this year, the movie starts its production in Cuba and in Detroit. Recently,
Bumblebee is spotted cruising along the streets of London. But these guys are not the only ones in
the movie. It looks like John Turturro and John Goodman are also going to return to the franchise.

aid the Autobots in their mission. And Turturro, who plays Agent Simmons in the first three
movies is coming on board to reprise his role too. As well as Goodman to voice Hound.
This smells like it is going to be a big reunion for everybody. With new cast members coming in
such as Anthony Hopkins and Laura Haddock, it looks like Bay s final hurrah. Director Michael
Bay did say that Transformers 5: The Last Knight is the fifth and final film he is going to direct.
Which is most likely why he is rounding up big names from the Age of Extinction.
Tyrese Gibson and Stanley Tucci are also coming back. Gibson reprises his role as Robert Epps. He
is on the Autobots side. While Tucci is coming back as Joshua Joyce. The guy responsible for
Galvatron. If you look closely, it looks like everybody from the whole franchise since the first
movie is in it. Except for Shia LaBeouf, that

History Of Rocklin Police Department
History of Rocklin Police Department
Thirty miles east of California s State Capitol lies a unique town called Rocklin. This small town
which was originally known as Secret Ravine originated in 1860, with a population of 440 and
is recognized throughout history for its rock quarries and railroads. According to Roy Ruhkala
(1974) Rocklin built its first city jail in the middle of the 1880 s, and was crafted of granite, with
a small steel window and door. Each night a watchman patrolled the streets and approximately
every evening at 8:00pm a curfew bell would ring, warning all vagrants to leave town and notify
children to get home. Gary Day (2003 2016) claims the jail was intended to house criminals, but
in the early 20th century, it became a place for hobos to escape the long cold nights; however,
there was one stipulation, they had to be locked up for the night for fear they would steal the
bedding. In 1946 a young boy named Ernest Willard became Rocklin s first chief of police, his
father George was the town marshal. Every morning on his way to school, Ernest would go by
the Jailhouse to let the hobos out. This haven for hobos was an act of compassion and
community service that will forever be remembered. Earnest Willard passed away in 1987 at the
age of 90, but in 1983 he served as an honorary marshal in the Rocklin Jubilee parade, at the time he
still possessed a key to the original jail house.

Did John Calvin s Influence On Church History
WHAT INFLUENCE DID JOHN CALVIN HAVE ON CHURCH HISTORY
There are many ways that Calvin influenced the church in his lifetime. His studies brought Calvin
into touch with reforming ideas circulating in Paris, and shortly thereafter one of those events in
Calvin s life turned him in a new direction. He called it an unexpected conversion. We can t be
certain about the date, but it was clearly more than a kind of spiritual enlightenment or the
recognition of the supreme authority of the Scriptures. Calvin surrendered his will to God. He gave
up his career as a classical scholar and identified with the Protestant cause in France (Shelley, 258).
Calvin traveled to Italy; however, during his trip he arrived at a stay in Basle, and pitched a ... Show

Seizure Disorders Paper
Seizure disorders, according to the Mayo Clinic (2015), affect approximately 1 in 26 people in the
United States. Persistent, or chronic, seizures result from a condition called epilepsy, a
neurological disorder of the central nervous system. It can affect anyone regardless of age, but is
more common during early childhood and after age 60. Given the number of people that seizure
disorders, such as epilepsy, affect, it becomes helpful to gain a foundational understanding of the
disease, including some of the causes, symptoms, and treatments available.
A seizure is a disruption of the electrical activity between neurons in the brain. The resulting

Types of seizures vary in intensity and effect. Some seizures are hardly noticeable, while others
incapacitate the patient. Mild seizures, which can last for a few seconds, do not involve a loss of
consciousness, but may change emotions or the way things look, feel, smell, taste, or sound. They
may also involve involuntary twitching of an extremity, a leg or arm, and dizziness, a tingling
sensation, or flashing lights. More severe seizures can last for a few minutes and involve a loss of
awareness or consciousness. Other symptoms include repetitive movement, such as hand rubbing,
chewing, blinking, staring, or walking in circles. With tonic clonic seizures, also known as grand
mal seizures, the body initially stiffens briefly, then begins to convulse. The teeth will clench
sometimes biting the tongue, causing bleeding from the mouth. There may also be increased
salivation causing foaming at the mouth. Additionally, a loss of control of bladder or bowel

Thru Cole s The Expulsion From The Garden Of Eden
During the nineteenth century, artists wanted to create awareness of nature before it changed
completely. The landscape paintings represent more than the beauty of nature: it can trigger a
memory, tell a story, document a moment. Thru Cole s painting of 1828, where he illustrates
the story of Adam and Eve expulsion from the Paradise land, I remember the moment when I
returned to Venezuela after spending one year abroad. The Expulsion from the Garden of Eden
is based on the biblical metaphor of Adam and Eve; who had the opportunity to live in a paradise
land, with the exception that they wouldn t consume a fruit from a specific tree. This was
known as the forbidden fruit and if they were to eat it, their time in that world would be over
and they would be sent to a different world where hard work has required to obtain what you
desired. It might be a strange comparison: a biblical proverb and a trip back home, still, leaving a
country that had its problems, but has the right conditions to live in and returning to a country
where life had no value, people had no food and the life circumstances got worse day after day, can
be a parallel situation to the change of a paradise land to a world where people suffered the
consequences of their sins.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Brief History of Rolls-Royce Company
Introduction: Brief History of Rolls Royce Company
The Rolls Royce is a large aero engine manufacturer company that implemented various operational
strategies to improve and meet their market demands. However, it was some time after the
acquisition of Allison Engine Company (total new market for the company USA) that forced the
company to search for new internal management operational approach. The overall motive was to
obtain a new structure which would allow the company to focus more on manufacturing engines
and less on internal management operations and decision making. In effort to meet the market
demands, the company sought an operation system more adequate to the type of organization.
Henceforth, the Rolls Royce Company embraced the ERP system. Yusuf, et al. (2004), stated that
the ERP aims to integrate business processes [such as manufacturing, finance, procurement and
distribution] through the support of an integrated computer information system [connected by

outsourcing company; EDS Company to assist in the implementation of the new system. The main
focus was to establish connection and integration amongst all areas of the company s operation.
Roll Royce: New Organization

The Effects Of Climate Change On Earth
In another matter, this is not the first time that climate change has affected the planet in the past
there were many problems to the earth millions of years ago. There were five major ice ages
from the longest and first scientists believe occurred was two point four to two point one billion
years ago during the early Proterozoic Eon there was an ice ageformed and it was the Huronian.
The second ice age was the cryogenian and it has been known that it produced a snowball earthin
which permanent sea ice extended to or very near the earth s equator; this period occurred from
eight hundred and fifty to six hundred and thirty million years ago. The third ice age that occurred

Scientists believe the possible causes of the medieval warm period were increase in solar activity,
decrease volcanic activity, and change to ocean circulation. After the medieval ended what
followed was the little ice age; the little ice age is a period between the thirteen hundreds to the
eighteen seventies. During this time Europe and North America were subjected to a much colder
winters than during the 20th century. Scientists believe the cause of this period was cyclical lows
in solar radiation, heightened volcanic activity, changes in the ocean circulation, variations in earth
s orbit, and axial tilt, inherent variability in global climate and decrease in the human population
these just the few reasons why the little ice age was formed.
Climate change has caused many problems to humans and ironically the cause of it are humans
them selves. One of the major problems that climate changed has caused is food crisis; hotter
temperatures will severely diminish the world s ability to grow crops and feed humanity and
other animals. The effects of major heat waves recorded in the past were very excruciating like
the one in Western Europe during the summer of 2003 which hunted the crop yield deeply. Also
in 2003 Italy was affected by a big heat wave where a maze yield feel by 36%. These are major
signs that humans won t have any thing to feed themselves in several years if this damaging global
warming continues.

The Albatross
The particular meaning of death is evidently endless, and with the limitless range of possibilities
that follow along with it comes with no amazement that the death scenes in literature sometimes
create the most significant themes in their relevant stories. One similar case to this would be the
death of the Albatross, in the poem The Rime of the Ancient Marinerby Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
In the poem, the Mariner carelessly shots the Albatross, guiding him and his men, without giving
any good reasons why he did so. This can be related to religion because the Albatross represents
Christ because he was our one and only option at achieving eternal life in Heaven, even after man
continued to torture him. The Albatross was the crew s one and only chance at salvation from the
icy region, but the Mariner destroys all their chances after killing the bird. His impression then
would reveal his carelessness for nature, a moment that would illuminate the logical purpose of the
poem clearer now than it did before.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

cursing the mariner and his crew. After all his crew members have died is when he starts to
appear sorrowful and begins to pray not for help, but for God to take him also. At this point of the
story, the fate of the mariner lies in the hands of the spirits. Miraculously, he makes it back to his

Improving Airport Security
How can airport security be more advance and safe around the world? Airport security attempts to
prevent any threats or potentially dangerous situations from arising or entering the country. If
airport security does succeed in this, then the chances of any dangerous situations, illegal items or
threats entering into aircraft, country or airport are greatly reduced. As such, airport securityserves
several purposes: To protect the airport and country from any threatening events, to reassure the
traveling public that they are safe and to protect the country and their people. There are many ways
to improve airport security, but it will take a lot to do so. One way is hiring and training TSA

Beginning in December 1972, the Federal Aviation Administration required airlines to scan all
passengers with metal detectors in an attempt to stop hijackers from carrying concealed guns

screening of passengers, TSA officers are empowered to perform pat down screenings and
baggage searches for any passenger that they feel requires additional screening. If the owners

addition to TSA screening measures, airlines are still responsible for checking passenger

the hijacked planes crashed in the world trade center, while another one crashed in a field in
Pennsylvania, and the other one crashed into the Pentagon. Airport security is a really big

a major thing that needs to be addressed. Hijacking started in about 1933 and is still going on to

Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler and Bertolt Brecht’s Mother...
Henrik Ibsen s Hedda Gabler and Bertolt Brecht s Mother Courage and Her Children
Henrik Ibsen s Hedda Gabler and Bertolt Brecht s Mother Courage and Her Children present two
strongly defined female heroines whose actions not only adversely affect the other characters lives
but also suggest a fundamental problem with their societies. Both playwrights establish the
macroscopic view of society s ills in the microscopic, individual characters of Hedda and Mother
Courage. Both characters have an indomitable magnetism that, on the one hand, allows them to
control others but, on the other, causes them to make desperate choices that reflect a repressive
society.

Though Ibsen depicts Hedda as a cold, unnatural creature who cannot love her husband, her child,
or even her lover Lovborg, she nevertheless remains a victim in life and, by her suicide, in death.
Society holds no place for Hedda other than as a wife or mother, and the implication remains
throughout the play that Hedda, as an intelligent individual, has wasted her intelligence and abilities
on her domestic role. Hedda channels her creative energy into a fruitless, harmful end, and the
coldness of her character matches the idea that anyone opposing the social roles set forth for them
must exist as an unnatural, unfeeling creature. If her life has given her a cage, then her death,
which seems to free Hedda, in actuality only gives yet another destructive manifestation of her
energies. Ibsen implies, by her death, that the only way Hedda finds freedom from an oppressive
system lies in the internalization of her destructive actions, or her suicide.
Though Hedda, in view of this restrictive society, potentially evokes our sympathetic emotions, she
nevertheless makes choices Ibsen carefully delineates in the play that lead to her ultimate
destruction. Perhaps the greatest tragedy underlying both Hedda s character and the play as a
whole remains with Hedda herself, for she ultimately chooses to take what society offers her
Tesman and the life of a social wife. When offered

thought provoking commentary on the big questions of the era. The Vietnam War, the struggle for
equal treatment of African Americans and a general mindset of questioning religion and traditional

The Renaissance And Italian Renaissance
The Renaissance (rebirth), was a time in which all art became more personalized and represented
more than we see. There were two major stages in the Western European/ Italian Renaissance:
Early Renaissance and High Renaissance. It gave patrons a new outlook on art and the world.
Styles such as Mannerism, Fresco, and Parietal help advance art in western Europe. Most of the
Renaissanceworks were religious,or had had something to do with the ancient times (ancient greece
and roman culture). Not only was is a re birth of art, it was a re birth of scientific thinking and
studying architecture. Although there are two major sections to the Renaissance, there are very

Mannerism was huge in Italy. One of the greatest pieces created in this style was Leonardo s
Mona Lisa . Leonardo uses mysterious elements for the background, it recalls one of his other
lesser known paintings named Madonna of the Rocks . The reason this piece is so fascinating is
because Leonardo finished very few of his works. He did, however have a notebook of
Renaissance Drawings . Since Leonardo was an architect as well as an artist, this led him to
create some of the greatest technology man has ever known. They also resembled his ideas of
what the Renaissance meant to him and the ideas he gained from this re birth. Some of
Leonardo s tactics are still used today. Take cutaways for example. This style of imagery was
used long before the age of X Rays. Leonardo was not the only one with Renaissance Drawings. It
was common for a lot of Renaissance artists to have notebooks full of drawings. Artists usually
used silverpoint stylus when drawing in their notebook. For other works, artists used different
materials (ink pen, chalk, charcoal, brush, graphite/lead). This has lead me to believe that artists
used different materials to create different moods, and to give each piece a different meaning.
Another big name in the Renaissance was Raphael (Raffaello Santi). It is said that Raphael mostly
likely learned his tactics and roots of Renaissance art from his father, Giovanni Santi.

A Research Study On Unintended Pregnancy
Literature Review
Unintended pregnancy is a great concern in the U.S. with half of all pregnancies are unintended and
unintended pregnancy....(is) highly concentrated among low income women (Frost, J.J., Sonfield,
A., Zolna, M.R., Finer, L.B., 2014). The goal of family planning services is to help reduce that
number, and also reduce the economic and health risks associated with unplanned pregnancy. The
benefits of family planning services provided by the government are the preventative health services
that are provided, and the cost savings from the reduction of birth related costs.
Better Programs, Better Outcomes
One key way to reduce the number of unplanned pregnancies is through the implementation of
comprehensive family planning programs, and increasing access to these services. The research
conducted for this study compared rates of unintended pregnancy in similar countries and focused
on how contraceptive and family planning care differed in those countries. Bongaarts (2014)
researched how family planning programs can improve the care of patients whose reproductive
health needs were not being me. Bongaarts explains that programs reduce unmet family planning
needs by reducing obstacles to use and by providing access to contraceptive methods and services....
(thus) producing a rise in the demand for contraception.... . The author goes on to explain that the

11.Advantages of QIP
Minimum Regulations and Procedural requirements
As compared to other placements like IPO and FPO, QIP is less cumbersome. This is because
there is no need to file pre issue document with the capital markets regulator. Approval of SEBI is
also not required. However, it is required to file a placement document with the stock exchanges
which encompasses details of the issue.
Time saving
Minimum regulations and procedural requirements make QIP one of the fastest methods of
raising funds. The best example of this is Power Trading Company (PTC India) who raised QIP
issue of Rs. 500 crore subscribed in 4 hours of its opening.
Cost effective
Less procedural requirement and fast process of QIP, makes it less expensive than other methods of

Why is Manchester United Football Club so successful? Manchester United Football Club
(F.C.) is not only the biggest club in football club in England but also one of the largest and most
popular teams in the world according to World Football / Soccer Clubs Ranking (Mitchell 2013).
This investigation will focus on the key factors leading to Manchester united success. Success
can come from players, coaches or even owners for providing financial resources but for
Manchester United the success came from winning trophies at early years under impressive
management.(Mitchell 2013) It also discusses players from the academy and the role that
experienced players had in the development of new players and the club mentality. History
Manchester United was founded as Newton Heath LYR FC in 1878. In 1902 that club changed
its name to Manchester United Football Club and eight years later moved into their current

The Federal Republic of Germany is part of the EU (European Union). Its capital is the beautiful
and globally famous city of Berlin. It is composed by the union of 16 individual states, where

this town, just as the majority of all the European towns, was established during the Roman
Empire. More than 200 years ago, the north and west regions of Europe were filled with Germanic
tribes, and even though Julio Caesar pushed the limits of the Roman Empire to the east of the Rhine
river, the Romans were not able to conquered that region nor north Danube, which is now known

individuals in the film seemed to be very connected and the relationship between Pran and Sydney

Lastly, I feel as if Pran finished the movie as a hero. After Pran escaped from the re education
camp, he came across a family consisting of Khmer Rouge official and his son. Even though the
official knew Pran was against the revolution, which would normally be very deadly knowledge,
he let him stay because his son had grown attached to him. The official thought that it was time
for his son to leave because the war was starting to get worse so he left him under the care of
Pran. The boy s father was eventually killed and Pran took the young boy and carried him
through a mine filled jungle along with a few other soldiers in hopes of giving him a new life. I
was surprised by the fact that the Khmer Rouge official allowed Pran to be around his son in the
first place. I found the leader to be very easy going considering that he did not have Pran killed
when he learned that he could speak French. I feel as if the official knew that the war was turning
into something that had gotten way out of control and before he could stop the madness, it was too
late.

and that they did not need to bring much of anything since Angkor would provide for them.

The Invention of Television
When you ask the question who invented television, you may get a few different answers!
Television was not invented by a single inventor, instead many people working together and alone
over the years, contributed to the evolution of television. * In Sorbonne, France1922, Edwin Belin,
an Englishman, who held the patent for the transmission of photographs by wire as well as fiber
optics and radar, demonstrated a mechanical scanning device that was an early precursor to modern
television. * John Logie ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I choose to write about the television invention because arguing that television is educational and
entertaining has been overused. The most important quality of television has been overlooked, the
ability to change a person s thinking strategy. To categorize everything on television into either
Good or Bad is wrong. To inspire hope into the viewer is a gift. The ability to help others visualize
a positive concept or idea is a blessing.
I believes that the entertainment television has a big and clear effect on real world health by the
various programs which offers a wide range of knowledge and information in this sector, for
example Dr. Oz Show, and its impact on viewers perceptions of issues such as the quality of
managed care, the rights of patients under current law, whether insurance companies are providing
sufficient coverage, and end of life decisions. Related work suggests, too, that TV viewers may well
mix what they see on news and entertainment together
In conclusion, the television is a great technological achievement that has the characteristics of a
person, some shows are funny, powerful and inspiring; others are just not worth watching. Although
television has a bad reputation, it really is a wonderful tool, bringing into our living room a whole
other world.

Hades Greek God Of The Underworld
Hades is the Greek God of the Dead and King of the Underworld. Hades is also called Pluto
because he lived in the underworld, and that s where there are many jewels are buried. Hades
was the Greek God of the Underworld, but he had a Roman double named Pluto, in fact they both
rule the underworld. Hades has many powers such as invisibility (because of his helmet), money,
and power over the dead. His occupation is to rule the underworld. The realm of the dead is under
his control because of the war with the Titans. Hadesis known to be cruel, unfriendly, and ruthless.
Snakes are sacred to him since he used to be a snake god called ZeusMeilichios. Demeter is the
Goddess of Agriculture and Zeus is the King of All Gods. Zeus and Demeter have a

Marcia Pointon Analysis
Marcia Pointon argues that the material practices of making clothing are similar to the production
of creating artworks. Supporting her argument, Pointon examines garments that are made by tailors,
for the reason that they are made by hand and not mass produced and compares their creation to the
handiwork of an artist. Pointon explains that both the tailor and the artist start with cloth and that
they both work by fabricating, cutting, meshing, and layering. Describing further, the author notes
that both tailors and artist piece together shapes, pay attention to horizontal and vertical lines, must
fit the figure on to one rectangular surface, and use outlining to prepare for their creation.
Moreover, Dolan relates that both the tailor and the artist both work in fiction.... Show more content

As well, giving ample attention to the color black, Dolan draws parallel to a tailor s dyeing
practices and an artist mixing colors. The author explains that the chemical stages to produce
black fabric were many, that there were no true black dyes, and that fabric was dipped in several
vats of various colours until it looked black. However, colourfastness was problematic and
remains so to this day. On the other hand, an artist also mixes colors to create a black effect, yet an
artists pigments remain relatively stable. Dolan also draws parallels to the popularity of black
garments and the innovation of black and white photography. Finally, the author relates that like
clothes, the photograph will last long after the artist or wearers death. In summary, the author points
to many ways that the art of the tailor overlaps with the art of the artist to back up her argument that
making clothes by hand is similar to creating an

Evaluation Of The National Curriculum Essay
A highly significant change to the national curriculum made at the 2014 update for KS3 is the
introduction of assessment without levels (Department for Education, 2014). The system by which
children were assigned a numerical level based on their attainment was ceased on the
commencement of the new curriculum in September 2014 for all subjects, including science
(Department for Education, 2013). This action was implemented based on a report by the Expert
Panel for the National Curriculum review, which suggested that due to changes made to the
curriculum over various reassessments, the concept of attainment targets, on which level
descriptors were based, had been clouded, making levels difficult to understand and apply
(Department for Education, 2015). This meant that level descriptors were no longer clear and
should be removed to allow assessment to focus more closely on an individuals specific strengths
and weaknesses on the content within the curriculum, rather than simply focus on ensuring that a
child achieved a certain arbitrary level (Expert Panel for the National Curriculum Review, 2011).
The abolition of levels has given schools more freedom to design their own assessment framework
and address the perceived issue that emphasis of levels as a tool for measuring school performance
had led to negative influence on the way individual pupils were assessed (Department for
Education, 2015). Bell (2014) suggests that the introduction of assessment without levels is a

  • 2. Why Sherman Burned Georgia To The Ground The North takes a lead with Sherman behind it all. On February 17, 1865 Sherman captures South Carolina leading him up to burn Georgia to the ground. From Atlanta to Savannah, Sherman covers 450 miles in 50 days leaving a 40 by 50 mile wide path of destruction. Some people refer to it as Sherman s March To The Sea . William Sherman becomes the terror of the South as he burns everything in his path. William Sherman believed that capturing Georgia would be effective and psychological as fighting. Sherman then has his troops circle Atlanta in July, forcing Hood to abandon Georgia on September 1, 1864. He captures Georgia the next day which was a major part of Sherman s March Towards Sea because Atlanta had railroads and was the industrial center of Georgia. Another reason Sherman burned Georgia to the ground is because Atlanta had warehouses that stored most of the Confederate Army s food. Burning most of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Dispatch advised that a neighbor witnesses the incident and that the two white males were getting into a vehicle. The vehicle was described as black, Chevrolet S 10 pickup truck. Upon my arrival to Hemlock drive I located the residence and observed a black, Chevrolet S 10 parked in the yard with the passenger door open. There vehicle was unoccupied. As I approached the house two white males exited the front door of the house. One of the males, identified as Patrick Duffy, was holding a pitt bull by the collar. I ordered both males to stop and to put their hands in the air. Duffy put his free hand in the air and the second male, identified as Nicholas Gale, complied with my commands by putting both hands in the air. I performed a terry frisk on Nicholas Gale and then ordered him to place his hands on the back of the S 10. I allowed Duffy to place the dog in the house while I accompanied him. After the dog was secured inside the house I performed a terry frisk on Duffy and detained him by placing him in handcuffs. I told Duffy to sit on the ground and Gale to sit on the tail gate of the S 10. A short time later Officer Parker #52 and Officer Stirrat #50 arrived at my location. After both officers arrived I took the handcuffs off of Duffy. I informed Duffy that I was investigating a person shooting a firearm. Duffy then made the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Price Value Of A Product Or Service First of all, price represents the value of a good or service for both seller and buyer. The value attached to a good or service is based on both tangible elements (such as product quality and benefits) as well as intangible elements (the feel good factor taken into consideration for luxury products). Price is the only element in the marketingmix that produces revenue; all other elements represent costs. (Sallie Phillips, 2015, p.99); it also represents a relevant factor in the decision to purchase a product or a service. It affects both the sales volume and profit. Establishing the value of a product or service is not easy. A wide variety of relevant factors such as the cost of goods or services, the market factors, sales volume, competition, economic conditions, must be taken into consideration. Although, price desideratum is an ideal hard to reach, the price should be high enough to cover the costs and generate revenue.Pricing it may have different guidelines. The most relevant pricing strategies are cost based pricing, value based pricing, and competition based pricing. The cost based pricing strategy is determined by the total product cost plus an individual profit. The most significant advantage of this approach is that it guarantees to cover the costs of the production of the good or service. The price is made by various types of costs (fixed costs and variable costs). Fixed costs do not vary depending on the level of production and sales. For example, a company ... • 6. A Good Man Is Hard For Find By Flannery O Connor In A Good Man Is Hard to Find , Flannery O Connor presents to the readers an uncanny encounter between a murderer named The Misfit and a grandmother. The two characters when first introduced seem to be antithesis of each other. This misfit is described as a murderer who seems to have no morals or feelings, while the grandmother seems to embody a good Christian woman. Throughout the plot, it is known that the misfit is not much of a believer and the grandmother is. Due to the fact that O Connor wrote a lot about religion, it is not hard to figure out the connection she tries to make between the characters and religion. In A Good Man Is Hard to Find , Flannery O Connor uses both the misfit s and the grandmother s circumstances and behavior in order to show the readers how the old and new generations feel towards religion. Throughout the plot she uses the Misfit to portray the new generation and uses the grandmother to portray the older generation. O Connor talks about the generations in such ways that show that the older generations seemed to believe heavily in religion but in the wrong way, and the new generation is misguided with little to no religious affiliations. From the beginning, the grandmother seems to be an old fashioned southern lady who is the epitome of a good Christian woman. She puts up a front that makes her seem like a true Christian, when in reality she is not really strong in her beliefs up until her confrontation with the misfit. Before the ... Over the past three decades, China has been undergoing economic reforms and changes to its political structure from communism towards a more market oriented system. It s changing political structure has been described in various terms such as pro growth authoritarianism (Lai, 2010), a variegated form of state permeated capitalism(Brink, 2013), refurbished state capitalism (McNally, 2013), and a social capitalist model (Degen, 2011). All these terms suggest that China has been shifting towards a more market oriented system but continue to take a state centric approach. What is China s current GDP Growth rate? China s economy has been largely influenced by political activities before the 1990s. Several economic reforms had already been put in to place since 1978 but the defining change was only triggered in 1992 with the speech by Mr. Deng Xiaoping, where he affirmed the nation of their shift towards a market oriented system (Chen, Quan, Liu, 2013). Empirical data represented in Figure 1a 1b shows the rapid change in China s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Consumer Price Index (CPI) that started from 1992 (Chen, Quan, Liu, 2013). The Differences Between Logical, Ethical, and Dialectical Reasoning The ways human think are one of the most distinct differences amongst us all. No single person entire thought process is the same as someone else because every one comprehends differently. The way we think makes us who we are and the decisions we make are based off our thought process. We reason logically, ethically, or dialectically to come to a final decision. Great Expectations Pip Quotes Growing Up The Molding of the Main Character Pause you who read this, and think for a moment of the long chain of iron or gold, of thorns or flowers, that would never have bound you, but for the formation of the first link on one memorable day. Throughout the novel, the ever important gold or iron chain of Pip is molded into something new, much like Pip himself. The examination of Pip s growth and maturity in relation to the quote reveals a critical, memorable moment at Satis House, a catalyst consisting of a handsome property and a mysterious benefactor, and the long, hard journey... And yet, that is why Dicken s gives the main character a name like that, so he will carry it with him as he grows and leaves his home. It serves as a reminder to the reader of Pip s humble beginnings. However, humble beginnings aren t as impressive without an achievement later in life. Pip s achievement of growing into an impressive gentleman is most evident when a friend from his childhood refers to him as a superior, in the quote, Which do not overdo it, Pip, said Joe; but I shall be happy fur to see you able, sir. The last word grated on me; but how could I remonstrate! (Dickens 436). In this quote, Joe shows that Pip has grown into a full fledged gentleman, and that while seemingly repaired, his relationship with Joe, and in turn his childhood, is not undamaged. Indeed, all journeys include some sort of damage, and one is never complete without the main character attempting to repair said damage by beseeching the family they had once turned their back on for forgiveness, as Pip does when he says, And now though I ... This small town which was originally known as Secret Ravine originated in 1860, with a population of 440 and is recognized throughout history for its rock quarries and railroads. According to Roy Ruhkala (1974) Rocklin built its first city jail in the middle of the 1880 s, and was crafted of granite, with a small steel window and door. Each night a watchman patrolled the streets and approximately every evening at 8:00pm a curfew bell would ring, warning all vagrants to leave town and notify children to get home. Gary Day (2003 2016) claims the jail was intended to house criminals, but in the early 20th century, it became a place for hobos to escape the long cold nights; however, there was one stipulation, they had to be locked up for the night for fear they would steal the bedding. In 1946 a young boy named Ernest Willard became Rocklin s first chief of police, his father George was the town marshal. Every morning on his way to school, Ernest would go by the Jailhouse to let the hobos out. This haven for hobos was an act of compassion and community service that will forever be remembered. Earnest Willard passed away in 1987 at the age of 90, but in 1983 he served as an honorary marshal in the Rocklin Jubilee parade, at the time he still possessed a key to the original jail house. The landscape paintings represent more than the beauty of nature: it can trigger a memory, tell a story, document a moment. Thru Cole s painting of 1828, where he illustrates the story of Adam and Eve expulsion from the Paradise land, I remember the moment when I returned to Venezuela after spending one year abroad. The Expulsion from the Garden of Eden is based on the biblical metaphor of Adam and Eve; who had the opportunity to live in a paradise land, with the exception that they wouldn t consume a fruit from a specific tree. This was known as the forbidden fruit and if they were to eat it, their time in that world would be over and they would be sent to a different world where hard work has required to obtain what you desired. It might be a strange comparison: a biblical proverb and a trip back home, still, leaving a country that had its problems, but has the right conditions to live in and returning to a country where life had no value, people had no food and the life circumstances got worse day after day, can be a parallel situation to the change of a paradise land to a world where people suffered the consequences of their sins.... The Albatross The particular meaning of death is evidently endless, and with the limitless range of possibilities that follow along with it comes with no amazement that the death scenes in literature sometimes create the most significant themes in their relevant stories. One similar case to this would be the death of the Albatross, in the poem The Rime of the Ancient Marinerby Samuel Taylor Coleridge. In the poem, the Mariner carelessly shots the Albatross, guiding him and his men, without giving any good reasons why he did so. Henrik Ibsen s Hedda Gabler and Bertolt Brecht s Mother Courage and Her Children Henrik Ibsen s Hedda Gabler and Bertolt Brecht s Mother Courage and Her Children present two strongly defined female heroines whose actions not only adversely affect the other characters lives but also suggest a fundamental problem with their societies. Both playwrights establish the macroscopic view of society s ills in the microscopic, individual characters of Hedda and Mother Courage. Though Ibsen depicts Hedda as a cold, unnatural creature who cannot love her husband, her child, or even her lover Lovborg, she nevertheless remains a victim in life and, by her suicide, in death. Society holds no place for Hedda other than as a wife or mother, and the implication remains throughout the play that Hedda, as an intelligent individual, has wasted her intelligence and abilities on her domestic role. Hedda channels her creative energy into a fruitless, harmful end, and the coldness of her character matches the idea that anyone opposing the social roles set forth for them must exist as an unnatural, unfeeling creature. If her life has given her a cage, then her death, which seems to free Hedda, in actuality only gives yet another destructive manifestation of her energies. Ibsen implies, by her death, that the only way Hedda finds freedom from an oppressive system lies in the internalization of her destructive actions, or her suicide. Though Hedda, in view of this restrictive society, potentially evokes our sympathetic emotions, she nevertheless makes choices Ibsen carefully delineates in the play that lead to her ultimate destruction. Mannerism was huge in Italy. One of the greatest pieces created in this style was Leonardo s Mona Lisa . Leonardo uses mysterious elements for the background, it recalls one of his other lesser known paintings named Madonna of the Rocks . The reason this piece is so fascinating is because Leonardo finished very few of his works. He did, however have a notebook of Renaissance Drawings . Since Leonardo was an architect as well as an artist, this led him to create some of the greatest technology man has ever known. They also resembled his ideas of what the Renaissance meant to him and the ideas he gained from this re birth. Some of Leonardo s tactics are still used today. Take cutaways for example. This style of imagery was used long before the age of X Rays. Leonardo was not the only one with Renaissance Drawings. It was common for a lot of Renaissance artists to have notebooks full of drawings. Artists usually used silverpoint stylus when drawing in their notebook. For other works, artists used different materials (ink pen, chalk, charcoal, brush, graphite/lead). This has lead me to believe that artists used different materials to create different moods, and to give each piece a different meaning. Another big name in the Renaissance was Raphael (Raffaello Santi). It is said that Raphael mostly likely learned his tactics and roots of Renaissance art from his father, Giovanni Santi. ... A Research Study On Unintended Pregnancy Literature Review Unintended pregnancy is a great concern in the U.S. with half of all pregnancies are unintended and unintended pregnancy....(is) highly concentrated among low income women (Frost, J.J., Sonfield, A., Zolna, M.R., Finer, L.B., 2014). The benefits of family planning services provided by the government are the preventative health services that are provided, and the cost savings from the reduction of birth related costs. It is composed by the union of 16 individual states, where people have the freedom of religion, press and free market economy. Germany has a long history, this town, just as the majority of all the European towns, was established during the Roman Empire. More than 200 years ago, the north and west regions of Europe were filled with Germanic tribes, and even though Julio Caesar pushed the limits of the Roman Empire to the east of the Rhine river, the Romans were not able to conquered that region nor north Danube, which is now known today as the beautiful country of Germany. In 1949, the German Federal Republic became a constitutional, parliamentary democracy. Since its reunification in 1990, the country has been composed of 16 federal states. There were countless scenes where my heart melted and I felt as if I could feel the pain of the innocent Cambodians in a minute sense. There is absolutely no way I could ever imagine what it was like to live though such a brutal and emotional part of history. The actors who portrayed individuals in the film seemed to be very connected and the relationship between Pran and Sydney was brilliantly displayed. Throughout the movie, I was genuinely intrigued. After Pran escaped from the re education camp, he came across a family consisting of Khmer Rouge official and his son. Even though the official knew Pran was against the revolution, which would normally be very deadly knowledge, he let him stay because his son had grown attached to him. The official thought that it was time for his son to leave because the war was starting to get worse so he left him under the care of Pran. The boy s father was eventually killed and Pran took the young boy and carried him through a mine filled jungle along with a few other soldiers in hopes of giving him a new life. I was surprised by the fact that the Khmer Rouge official allowed Pran to be around his son in the first place. I found the leader to be very easy going considering that he did not have Pran killed when he learned that he could speak French. I feel as if the official knew that the war was turning into something that had gotten way out of control and before he could stop the madness, it was too late. Cambodia was torn to shreds when Pol Pot s regime took over. As seen in the movie, so many innocent people were killed by ruthless soldiers and U.S. bombs. Television was not invented by a single inventor, instead many people working together and alone over the years, contributed to the evolution of television. * In Sorbonne, France1922, Edwin Belin, an Englishman, who held the patent for the transmission of photographs by wire as well as fiber optics and radar, demonstrated a mechanical scanning device that was an early precursor to modern television. * John Logie ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I choose to write about the television invention because arguing that television is educational and entertaining has been overused. The most important quality of television has been overlooked, the ability to change a person s thinking strategy. To categorize everything on television into either Good or Bad is wrong. To inspire hope into the viewer is a gift. The ability to help others visualize a positive concept or idea is a blessing. I believes that the entertainment television has a big and clear effect on real world health by the various programs which offers a wide range of knowledge and information in this sector, for example Dr. Oz Show, and its impact on viewers perceptions of issues such as the quality of managed care, the rights of patients under current law, whether insurance companies are providing sufficient coverage, and end of life decisions. Related work suggests, too, that TV viewers may well mix what they see on news and entertainment together In conclusion, the television is a great technological achievement that has the characteristics of a person, some shows are funny, powerful and inspiring; others are just not worth watching. Although television has a bad reputation, it really is a wonderful tool, bringing into our living room a whole other world. References * (2012, January 9). Report and research. Supporting her argument, Pointon examines garments that are made by tailors, for the reason that they are made by hand and not mass produced and compares their creation to the handiwork of an artist. Pointon explains that both the tailor and the artist start with cloth and that they both work by fabricating, cutting, meshing, and layering. Describing further, the author notes that both tailors and artist piece together shapes, pay attention to horizontal and vertical lines, must fit the figure on to one rectangular surface, and use outlining to prepare for their creation. The author explains that the chemical stages to produce black fabric were many, that there were no true black dyes, and that fabric was dipped in several vats of various colours until it looked black. However, colourfastness was problematic and remains so to this day. On the other hand, an artist also mixes colors to create a black effect, yet an artists pigments remain relatively stable. Dolan also draws parallels to the popularity of black garments and the innovation of black and white photography. Finally, the author relates that like clothes, the photograph will last long after the artist or wearers death. • 42. Evaluation Of The National Curriculum Essay A highly significant change to the national curriculum made at the 2014 update for KS3 is the introduction of assessment without levels (Department for Education, 2014). The system by which children were assigned a numerical level based on their attainment was ceased on the commencement of the new curriculum in September 2014 for all subjects, including science (Department for Education, 2013). This action was implemented based on a report by the Expert Panel for the National Curriculum review, which suggested that due to changes made to the curriculum over various reassessments, the concept of attainment targets, on which level descriptors were based, had been clouded, making levels difficult to understand and apply (Department for Education, 2015). This meant that level descriptors were no longer clear and should be removed to allow assessment to focus more closely on an individuals specific strengths and weaknesses on the content within the curriculum, rather than simply focus on ensuring that a child achieved a certain arbitrary level (Expert Panel for the National Curriculum Review, 2011). The abolition of levels has given schools more freedom to design their own assessment framework and address the perceived issue that emphasis of levels as a tool for measuring school performance had led to negative influence on the way individual pupils were assessed (Department for Education, 2015). Bell (2014) suggests that the introduction of assessment without levels is a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
