This document discusses application mobility infrastructure 2.0. It defines application mobility as the ability to dynamically change some or all of an application's infrastructure without disrupting end user service. Benefits include optimizing an application's location based on performance, cost, or compliance policies. Enterprises benefit from an on-demand, elastic pay-per-use model while customers benefit from improved quality of service backed by service level agreements. Legacy applications can be made mobile by orchestrating or containerizing components, while new applications can be designed for mobility from the start.
