Introduction
 According to Einstein..
 Matter can be turned into energy, and energy into
    matter.
 0.111Kg of hydrogen(in 1kg of water) is equivalent to
    10,000,000,000,000,000 Joules of energy.
 Can all this energy really be released?
 Has it ever been?
 Why?
What is antimatter….?
 Antimatter is comprised of antiparticles….
 Positrons (e+)–electron.
 Antiproton(p-)-proton
 Anti-neutrons(pions): 0 charge, opposite magnetic field
 They have the opposite charge..
 Same mass…
 Obey the same physical laws…
 Our universe seems to be made entirely of matter. The only
antimatter in it is created in high energy collisions and is
  soon annihilated.
Production of antimatter…
 LHC-world's largest particle accelerator
 CERN..
 Produce photons of high velocity…
 collide with a target..
 But if antimatter cant touch matter, how did they
conserve it, well they want to put an electo shield
inside a vacuum with no matter, this elecro flow makes
the antimatter hover, not touching the walls of the
  container, which is matter..
Uses of antimatter..
 Antimatter in Spacecraft….
 Power generation…
 PET(Positron Emission Tomography) in hospital….
 Antimatter weapons..

Antimatter in Spacecraft….
 ICAN-II
 140 Nano grams of antiprotons…
 Only 30 days to Mars…
 1996, the Mars Global Surveyor took 11 months to
    arrive at Mars….
 Heliopause, the point at which the sun's radiation
    ends..
 Magnetic storage rings
 Feed system
 Magnetic rocket nozzle thruster
 antiprotons are injected to annihilate and heat the
 plasma ..
 the charged particles of the antiproton annihilation
are directly released out of the vehicle along an axial
magnetic field at a very high velocity near the speed of
  light..
 Why magnetic nozzle..?
Power generation
 Principles…
 Photons production by the stimulation of atoms with
  electric discharges, light flashes, or any other means;
photons amplification by population inversion of excited
atoms; particle-antiparticle production by the collision of
photons; ion-pairs generation by the striking of high
energy charged particles with atoms at rest, and
  subsequent generation of electron-positron avalanches
within conducting materials; finally, the separation of
electron-positron pairs by the crossing of strong
electromagnetic forces, originating the phenomena know
  as Electricity.
Physical Description…
 Self reflecting chamber
 Cooling chamber-air/water..
 Ferromagnetic core..
 Ferromagnetic core leg..
 Collecting chamber-copper/lead/steel
 Electric coil
Advantages and disadvantage
No pollution..
Greater efficiency..
Capacity in GW…
 Energy from antimatter could be so economical, that it
will be cheaper to SAVE THE PLANET than to destroy
  it.
 4.5 million dollars for equipment..
 270 million dollars for construction.
PET…
 inject positrons into a brain and watch for gamma rays
that flash when the positrons encounter electrons of
normal matter. The two destroy each other, giving off a
light pattern that is different in an afflicted brain than
in a normal one, thus revealing neurological
 aberrations….
Antimatter weapons..
