realization that Rose hit a deer, Chris gets out of the car and hears the deer whining
in the woods. Chris then goes to investigate the woods for the deer and Jordan Peele
incorporates mysterious music and close up shots of Chris to create a feeling of
suspense for us. We become anxious and become concerned for Chris s encounter

Chris enters the woods and sees the deer laying on the ground, with its eyes open
looking up at Chris. At first, this scene did not make sense to me, but later on I

In Geoffrey Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales, an eclectic mix of people gathers
together at Tabard Inn to begin a pilgrimage to Canterbury. In the General Prologue,
the readers are introduced to each of these characters. Among the pilgrims are the
provocative Wife of Bath and the meek Pardoner. These two characters both
demonstrate sexuality, in very different ways. Chaucer uses the Wife and the
Pardoner to examine sexuality in the medieval period.
The Middle Ages were a time of expanding and experimenting sexually for the
people. Religious figures who had taken vows of celibacy had children, sometimes
with more than one woman. Even some popes of the time had illicit affairs. However,

I personally was not as excited about this piece as I hoped. I like louder and more
exciting music that changes from soft to loud and has a more upbeat tempo. The
second piece preformed was, Sedona by Steven Reineke. I really like this piece a
lot. It reminds me of Christmas and happy times. I like how in the beginning the
piece starts off softer, but you can still hear all the different instruments playing
their part. The tone of the flutes is very beautiful to listen to and I really enjoyed
how the piece slowed down to really enhance that sound. Overall, I really enjoyed

created by Pavel Tschesnokoff and Bruce Houseknecht. This piece starts off soft

Hamlet And Death In Hamlet
The play Hamlet, Prince of Denmark by William Shakespeare, when broken down
to its essence, is about a man who seeks fulfillment in life or death. Hamlet s life
before his father s death was one of ease and comfort as seen by him living in
Germany as a college student. However, with King Hamlet s death, his complacency
is destroyed, and he is left feeling unsatisfied with life. He returns to Denmark and
his family to mourn the loss of his father, but in less than two months the rest of the
palace has moved on while Hamletcontinues to mourn (1.2.138). This causes an
emotional response from Hamlet to do something to ease the pain of his
misfortune, that something being either suicide or murder. While many emotions
and people motivate and persuade Hamlet s course of action, such as depression,
the ghost, Laertes, and revenge, in the end, revenge pushes Hamlet into action
with support from Laertes. Depression is the first emotion that begins to sway
Hamlet s outlook on how he should respond to his father s murder. The first
appearance of Hamlet shows his inner turmoil and depressive thought that if, Too
too solid flesh would melt/ Thaw and resolve itself into a dew, meaning that
Hamlet wishes that his flesh was not so solid that death was such a difficult result
to come by (1.2.129 30). The use of the impersonal terms melt and thaw both allude
to the thought that Hamlet views his body more as a vessel than his actual being.
Hamlet continues his soliloquy by questioning God s Commandment against
suicide; for if there were no consequences, Hamlet would willingly leave this stale
world (1.2.131 34). By viewing the world in such a negative way, Hamlet is
changing his mental state and conscience from one that acknowledges possible
consequences and avoids the sinful act of suicide to one where any consequence is
ignored for the world itself is an unweeded garden (1.2.135). This change of outlook
is seen in Hamlet s aside when he says, A little more than kin, and less than kind,
where he openly states his distaste in his uncle and now step father Claudius (1.2.65).

Endangerment For Snow Leopards
Snow Leopards are natives to the rugged mountains of Central Asia. Snow
leopards are very shy towards humans. In fact, there has never been any type of
verification on snow leopards attacking a human being even when being disturbed
during a meal chances are they will run away scared instead of attacking. There are
between 3,920 and 6,390 snow leopards left in the wild. Even though numbers are
shown to be improving over the years there is still high chances of endangerment
for Snow Leopards. Some of the reasons for the snow leopards approaching
endangerment is poaching. Trades with snow leopard parts tend to happen low
key. Between the years 2008 and 2016 snow leopards were often killed and traded
every day Roughly 220 to 450 cats per year. Poaching also takes away from the
snow leopards resources. With its main prey species sheep and goats also being
threatened by illegal huntingall through the snow leopard range which means if their
populations decline, so do the snow leopards. Warming temperatures could also spell
trouble for snow leopards as it causes tree lines to move up the mountains causing a
lot of farmers to plant their crops and livestock at higher altitudes that they are not
used to, forcing the snow leopards into extremely smaller ranges where they are often
coming into conflict with humans. Increasing temperatures could drastically change
the flow of water down from the mountains and threatening livelihoods of people
