Symbols Used In Ground Zero Cross
Among one of the most famous symbols used in Ground Zero is the Ground Zero Cross. It
represents the spiritual and physical healing this country desperately needed. After the attacks on 9
11, Fr. Brian Jordan OFM, a Roman Catholic Franciscan priest, said it was a symbol of hope... [a]
symbol of faith... [a] symbolof healing. Symbols are very important and influential to everyone.
Symbols holds a hidden meaning that, in most cases, are more influential than telling it blunt. Yes,
sometimes telling it bluntly works but putting it as a symbol shows a deeper meaning and
relevance to what you, your community, or your nation stands for. This symbol, the Ground Zero
Cross, reveals that our country believes in freedom for all. Focusing on religious freedom, we see
how this cross shaped symbol shows that even when hit, literally or figuratively, for our beliefs we
can still fight, move forward, and survive.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The previous name for one of the monuments honoring 9 11 was Freedom Tower before it was
changed to One World Trade Center . Another trait is that even when hit in difficult times, the
people in a nation can join forces and bring their country back to its feet. Volunteers, firefighters,
policemen and dogs all worked together to help clear the rubble from the twin towers and help
save lives. This memorial is a tribute to 9 11 by showing the younger generations, who weren t
around or too young to remember, all about the terrorist attacks on 9 11. By displaying things
found in the rubble at the Ground Zero Museum it shows a walk through of what happened on that
day. From the Ground Zero Cross to the names etched around the pools where the towers once
stood, it s a remembrance striving to make sure we never forget what happened on the horrible

Essential Drug Delivery Route Is No Doubt The Oral Route
Introduction: The most essential drug delivery route is no doubt the oral route. It has
advantages like convenience of administration and less developed cost. Drugs administered by
oral route are solid oral dosage forms particularly tablets, the preferred class of product. Today
drug delivery companies are concentrating on solid oral drug delivery systems that suggestion
increased patient amenability and effect. Melt in mouth tablet (MMT) or fast disintegrating
/dissolving or dispersible tablet, which is known to be one of the most innovative ways in oral
drug delivery. The conception of Fast Dissolving Drug Delivery System developed from the
desire to provide patient with conventional methods of taking their medication. Owing to
physiological alterations associated with, especially, elderly and pediatrics are quite unable to
swallow (Dysphagia). Rather, this is a common problem for all age groups patients. Solid dosage
forms that can be disintegrated, suspended, or dissolved by saliva in the mouth resulting in easy
swallowing can give significant benefits to the pediatric and geriatric population, in addition to
other patients who prefer the convenience of easily swallows able dosage forms. This tablet
disintegrates immediately when placed on tongue, releasing the drug that disperses or dissolves in
the saliva.

My Thoughts On Type Of Training Essay
I would like to formally write this letter to express my thoughts on the type of training I have
experienced while starting this position. I appreciate everything you have done for me so far and
though there were great qualities to this training program, I believe that there are many areas that
could be improved upon as well. I know that you have put ample time into a training manual to
make sure that new employees are learning everything they should. The purpose of this letter is
solely to give you input from the other side of the training manual. There may be things that you
may not have realized and I personally think this would be beneficial to your employees or
prospects. You may have noticed that after the initial training period, I still had plenty of questions
that were not addressed during the training session.
I would like to start this letter with the great aspects of this training program. I really appreciated
that you have cleared your schedule for 2 days to explain to me the process of my job. My first
impression was when you had pulled out a list of topics that you would like to discuss over. It
seems very organized and well thought out. The list of topics hit every important task that I am
going to have to do along with the programs needed in order for me to do my job correctly. Not
only was this list informal, but it also allowed for you to check off the topics that we have already
addressed.
Another part of the training process that I thought

fighting for their rights as people. Welcome to Nineteenth and Twentieth Century America. The
suffragettes are taking a stand against an unfair system and earning their right to vote.

Comedy in I Henry IV and II Henry IV by William...
Comedy in I Henry IV and II Henry IV
In I Henry IV and II Henry IV, William Shakespeare brings together drama and comedy to create
two of the most compelling history plays ever written. Many of Shakespeare s other works are
nearly absolute in their adherence to either the comic or tragic traditions, but in the two Henry IV
plays Shakespeare combines comedy and drama in ways that seem to bring a certain realism to his
characters, and thus the plays. The present essay is an examination of the various and significant
effects that Shakespeare s comedic scenes have on I Henry IV and II Henry IV. The Diversity of

(II Henry IV, II. iv. 113 122)
The scene is filled with bawdy references and second meanings, meanings which the audience
would undoubtedly find uproarously funny. Hal, too, often speaks this language of the lower
classes, especially when chiding Falstaff: These lies are like the father that begets them gross as a
mountain, open, palpable. Why, thou clay brained guts, thou knotty pated fool, thou whoreson
obscene greasy tallow catch (I Henry IV, II. iv. 224 227). The language Shakespeare uses in the
tavern scenes is certainly different from the more solemn and courtly language found in the plays
more dramatic moments, as in Hal s gallantry towards Hotspur upon the latter s death:
Prince. But let my favors hide thy mangled face;
And, even in thy behalf, I ll thank myself
For doing these fair rites of tenderness
Adieu, and take thy praise with thee to heaven.
Thy ignominy sleep with thee in the grave,
But not remembered in thy epitaph. (I Henry IV, V. iv. 95 100)
The differences in styles of language truly brings alive the plays various characters, from the
lowliest drawer to the noblest knight. The playwright s audience would have been composed of a
similarly diverse spectrum of society, from the groundlings at the foot of the stage, to the members
of the court in attendance, and these disparate members of the audience might very well have come
away from the plays with different interpretations of

The Presidential Candidate Of Education Reform
I for one believe Hillary Rodham Clinton is the best presidential candidate of education reform in
the 2016 election. Mrs. Clinton has an impeccable record on this issue and consistently fought for
the rights of all American s access to quality education. Her crusade as a public servant for quality
educationbegan thirty three years ago in 1983.The Arkansasschool system ranked 50th in the nation.
Mrs. Clinton was appointed by Governor Bill Clintonto chair the Educational Standards Committee,
to recommend reforms. It is not an exaggeration to say the state s educational system remains
broken. TIME Magazine dubbed Arkansas the long time Dogpatch of the nation s school system
However, this crisis in education extended from coast to coast. In pushing for higher standards,
Mrs. Clinton stated, Our schools are not doing as good as they must. While there may be many
causes for our dilemma, there is only one solution. We Arkansans have to quit making excuses and
accept instead the challenge of excellence once and for all. (ED Reform,2016) The newly
established committee solicited advice from the public, in all of Arkansas 75 counties. Following
this extensive research, Mrs. Clinton came up with a comprehensive set of regulations aimed at
overhauling the state s failing education system. The Education Standards committee s
recommendations included: Upgrading curriculum standards and course requirements. Increasing
teacher salaries and possible merit pay. Establishing a

Persuasive Essay On Respect
As children we are taught to always show respect to those around us. We are taught to never say
no to an adult, to listen and to use manners to everyone around us. But as we grow older we
develop a sense of rebelliousness, and an urge to question every single moral and value we have
learned.
So the burning question arises: Should respect be given to everyone no matter what, or is it
something that needs to be earned? I believe that respect is a given. Like a natural right, it is
born with it, and it is your choice whether you can gain more or lose it. People around the world
have been fighting all around the world for equality. Isn t that the same as respect? We have been
fighting for respect this whole time, so why should we suddenly discriminate every organism on
this planet. Everyone has a side of insecurity and if we keep making people feel ashamed of that,
there would be no respect. Respect is what separates me from you, him from her. But shouldn t
everyone get respect no matter the case? From CEOs to retail workers?
According to The Positivity Solution, an organization dedicated to spread positivity, dignity,
and kindness, Rudeness is often a by product of a lack of respect. Not to sound like Captain
Obvious here, but most people don t choose to be rude and disrespectful to people who they
respect, do they? . What they are trying to convey is that people often don t give everyone the
respect they deserve. When we do not give people respect, we lose respect for ourselves and
become rude in other people s eyes. As we learn to realize that everyone deserves respect, we can
see that even the most small things can earn our attention. If you are consciously deciding to give
people respect or not, that is a mistake. Why do people need your acceptance to be treated equally?
They do not. And if you are making a choice based on shallow judgment, you are destroying the
love and kindness that others have shown to you. To be critical like that is unacceptable and wrong
universally.
A person s a person, no matter how small said Dr. Suess, an award winning children s books writer.
Everyone wants to be accepted, some people at all costs. But would we like to see these people

The Bill of Rights of 1689 By Christos Stamelos The Bill of Rights of 1689 The Bills of Rights of

statement that is formal written enactment of a legislative authority that governs a state, city, or

assignment of it to William the Prince of Orange and the call to all regional authorities to send their
representatives to be present in the proceedings. After that, the document defines the changing
relationship between the crown and Parliament by declaring that no monarch will ever again

Essay about Poetry Analysis Mezzo Cammin
Mezzo Cammin
The poem Mezzo Cammin by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow explains his regretful life and his
reasoning at why he didn t live it to its full potential and how he looks at his past. It then looks to
his future as being near and bearing a huge weight down on him. The way Longfellow talks about
his life is depressing. He doesn t speak of the good accomplishments, only the things he hasn t done
until he looks back into the past and then forward at how the future may be. In the first part of the
poem Longfellow talks about his life being halfway over and everything that stopped him from
really living his life. In the very first couple of lines he says I have let the years slip from me and

He describes it strangely, And hear above me on the autumnal blast The cataract of Death far
thundering from the heights. These lines are very open ended and in one way he could be
speaking of death as far away by the way he describes the thundering waterfall very high up. The
reference to height could mean its at a good distance that he can see it, but its still far away. It
could also mean he has more of his life to live up to and his regretful past doesn t mean much to
him anymore because he has his future to look forward to as he is on his metaphorical hill of
life. In another view, he could be describing death as being right around the corner and him
looking right at it when he describes the waterfall. You could look at it as him having a life
threatening disease and him knowing his death is coming soon, which could also describe the
way he views his past full of regret. If he knew the end is coming soon and he doesn t believe he
fully lived his life to how he wishes, the regret is understandable and the cataract of death makes
sense in this point of view. Overall, this poem shows the past, present, and future of the writer. His
life is full of regret at points and then seems hopeful in others. This poem could be viewed in
many ways but mostly you understand it as a man who wishes he could change his past because
he knows his future is near and his life will soon be coming to an

The Increase Of The Mc Influenced Fi And Bwg Table 5
Experimental data
Results confirmed that MC was the limiting amino acids in the respective dilution series. The
increase of levels of the MC influenced FI and BWG Table 5. The maximum FI could be observed
between the second and the forth levels in the initial phase, first and second level in growing and
finish phase to male and female broiler fed with increased level of MC.
The increase inclusion of MC in the feed caused a range in MCi between lower and upper levels
in female broiler of 23.16 initial, 407.72 grower, 775.97 mg/bird.day in finish phase and 242.04,
463.99 and 904.84 mg/bird.day initial, grower and finish phase in male, respectively. The range
of BWG in female was: 18.78 initial, 27.11 grower, 30.72 g/bird.day in finish phase and male
broiler: 20.06, 34.67 and 45.92 g/bird.day during initial, growing and finish phase, respectively. It
is possible observed that the males have higher range of responses in BWG and MCi in the three
phases studied when compared to female s broiler. For BWG is observed that the plateau is
reached between the fourth and fifth levels of MC.
Parameters of monomolecular

A Study On The Cardiac Rhythm
Introduction: The electrocardiogram remains the single most important tool for interpretation of
the cardiac rhythm. 1 It can be used to successfully pick up conduction abnormalities, rhythm
disturbances, possible myocardial ischemia, and a slew of other abnormalities that can be
linked to various cardiac or metabolic diseases. 1,2 ECGs can also be used as a preventive tool
to screen for abnormalities early in the disease process. 3,4 In 1982, Italy passed a law that all
individuals who want to compete in competitive sports undergo a clinical evaluation that included
an assessment of family history, person history, a physical exam, and an electrocardiogram. The
bulk of the evaluation relied heavily on the ECG looking for any abnormalities... Show more

This program recruited community volunteers to perform the ECGs and were given a
standardized training on how to correctly obtain one. The ECGs were then interpreted by 6
cardiologists experienced in adolescent ECGs. Among the 32,561 screened, 2.5% had abnormal
ECGs. The importance of this study was to show that mass ECG screenings can be efficiently
obtained and still yield quality results when assessing for risk factors for SCA. This study
reported that the cost per ECG was only $8.67, which is more proof of why ECG screening
should become a standardized preventive modality. ECGs can play an essential role in
monitoring the status of a patient and for recognizing trends in the patients progression. Fesmire
et al5 reported that serial ECGs were more sensitive for evaluating acute myocardial infarctions
(AMI) and acute coronary syndrome (ACS) than an initial ECG. Serial ECGs were 68.1% more
sensitive for identifying AMI compared to 55.4% using an initial ECG. For ACS, serial ECGs
were 34.2% more sensitive compared to 27.5% for an initial ECG. The purpose of this ECG
workshop is to teach people to be proficient at reading ECGs. The amount of information that an
individual can obtain from an ECG can be extremely beneficial in helping with diagnosis of patients
or determining the proper treatment. This workshop will include hands on learning, lecture, and

Provision of Care for Patient with HIV
Provision of Care for Patient with HIV:
As a global epidemic, HIV has created several challenges for doctors and health care facilities
since it represents an overwhelming public health crisis. While there are various factors that
contribute to its spread, initiatives to combat the virus are usually influenced by the availability of
human and financial resources. In the past few years, several measures have been undertaken to
help curb the spread of the virus and its effects on patients. These initiatives are primarily divided
into two categories i.e. provision of care to patients and treatment of the virus. One of the major
ways in which HIV patients are provided with care is through policy and programming that is
centered on HIV and AIDS related care (Ogden, Esim Grown, 2006, p.333). Generally, caring for a
patient with HIV needs significant time and resources, which has contributed to the shift of clinical
care to the home and community.
The provision of care for patient with HIV includes a series of various steps in the care continuum
in the home and the community. The first step is follow up care that is built on strong routine
screening processes, which help in early identification of infected persons ( Connecting HIV
Infected Patients to Care , 2009). Regular screening contributes to early diagnosis and treatment that
can considerably enhance the health of the infected patients and prevent new infections. The second
step is connecting to care through proper

Advantages Of Bhakti And Prapatti
Bhakti and Prapatti corresponds to the operation of the Divine ascent and descent both point to the
same fact; for RaМ„maМ„nuja there is no material difference between them. Divine grace is
achieved by both. VedaМ„ntadesМЃika agrees that even Prapatti like Bhaki is a means of pleasing
God and Prapatti is the soul of Bhakti . Bhakti and Prapatti are like two blades of the scissor. Bhakti

Advantages of Prapatti over Bhakti:
The chief advantage that Prapatti or NyaМ„sa VidyaМ„ has over Bhakti Yoga is that it is easier to
practise than the latter. Bhakti Yoga as seen has many obstacles on the path to the goal. The
requisite for Bhakti are not easy to fulfil. God, on the other hand, who is the very home of love, is

Finding immigration services in the Dallas area has gotten more and more difficult in recent years
because the immigration process has grown incredibly complicated. In the last few years numerous
new regulations have been put into effect, altering how immigration will go forward. At the same
time, those new regulations have been rendered more problematic by recent court decisions. All of
these changes mean that it is incredibly challenging for an individual to sort through the aspects of

The first step towards making sense of all of these new immigration reforms lies in understanding
whether or not they might apply to you. Again, you need to remember that right now many of the

The History Of Early Law Enforcement

Law Enforcement
The history of early law enforcement really has been around since ancient times. In these times
guards that worked for the lords of kingdoms were assigned the job of collecting taxes. Though
the first real law enforcement as we see it today goes back to the colonial age in both England and
newly found America. Colonial America followed the the British form of a policeorganization. This
idea was a sheriff appointed by the governor of a colony, enforced laws, collected taxes and
maintained public property throughout the colony. In the times of these law enforcement efforts
many were seen to be largely inadequate to maintain order. As time went on many things went on to

These levels allow more control because some departments focus on bigger issues in the states
where as smaller local departments will work on smaller issues in their own communities. The
amount law enforcement has evolved over the years has made it more capable and able to deal
with the problems of this new age much different than that of the revolutionary time period. Law
enforcement has evolved because as time went on technologies came along which criminals had
access to and crimes got more creative and complex. For example a rather new crime with modern

equipment that they carry. The first law enforcements system in the United States in the pre
revolutionary and revolutionary times was the night watch which was similar to the modern day

suspicious activity and made people aware of anything that went wrong. Then as time went on this

The Polish And African Americans
Over many generations long before our creation were our ancestors. They had many trials and
long suffering to endure. Many travelled and migrated from place to place to gain freedom. Some
of our ancestors were captured and became slaves. This was not only for African American,
American Indians, Hispanics, Asian Americans, Middle Easterners, North West, South and East
Europeans. It was for all minority groups, from religion to sex gender, women, the elderly and
people with disabilities. Here is one example of the Polish Americans groups and how they were
affected; and what happened or changed over time in the process of migration to America.

Although, many Polish came to the U.S. unwillingly many felt that work was more important than
education. During, that time many spoke West Slavic and English. Mainly, all of the Polish
American children ranging from ages 8 through 12 have minimum schooling. Their practice was
first communion, school at a minimum of two years and then work. It was strongly felt that the U.
S. education was a waste of time and could potentially become dangerous to undermine the
traditional ways of life, instead of being brain washed by American life. Polish did not want to be
bothered by the educational system providing children with strict morals and disciplined
atmospheres; a high school diploma was the least of their worries a paycheck meant more.
(Wikipedia, 2015) During the time from 1795 to 1918 the Polish state did not exist and all of its
borders were destroyed during World War I and World War II. In 1940 this caused 50% of the Polish
to marry other American ethnics with no exemptions. Many immigrant families found adjusting
was too difficult which then lead to crime, delinquency, divorce, desertion, prostitution, and
economic dependence; leading to family disorganization. Therefore, not many Polish desired
assimilation, but also wanted churches to become a blended staunch Roman Catholics which is
Polish culture. This was to include a full social service available to assist immigrants in becoming
acculturated as it did in their previous churches for the

Comparing The Sixth Sense And The Shining
What if you had a unique ability? What would you do with it? How would you use it? In the
movies, The Sixth Sense and The Shining, that is just what the main characters have the ability to
achieve, a supernatural ability. The Shining revolves around five year old Danny Torrance. Danny
s father, Jack, receives a job at the overlook hotelas caretaker. After moving into the hotel and
residing there for five months Danny s supernatural ability advises Danny of a tragic event that is
soon to occur in the hotel. After Danny s father is taken over by the spirits and goes insane trying

Both The Shining and The Sixth Sense share a common theme. A theme that is found in both
movies is a supernatural theme. When an event occurs that is supernatural, it is most times
perceived as a frightening, almost terrifying event. In both movies there were many supernatural
occurrences. For instance, in The Shining, when Jack enters room 237 he sees a young woman
sitting in the tub, a ghoul. Upon seeing Jack, the ghoul slowly pushes back the curtain and
immerges from the tub walking towards Jack. Jack seeing a, sexual invitation, advances towards
the women. The women grabs his face and begins kissing him. Jack notices in the mirror that the
women is rotting and becomes frightened, and runs away while the ghoul laughs hysterically.
This is bizarre for the reason that the only humans in the Overlook hotel are Danny, his mother
Wendy, and his father Jack. Therefore it can be concluded that the ghoul is a ghost in the hotel.
There are also scenes towards, the end of the movie, that display to the viewer that the hotel is
aiding Jack in killing his wife Wendy. For example, when Wendy is escaping the Overlook Hotel
towards the end she meets up with the ghost with a bloody hand as a way of stalling her from
escaping before her son is killed. Both these instances, along with many more, prove the theme of
supernatural in the movie The

Marrying Absurd
Joan Didion s essay Marrying Absurd is a comical review of Las Vegas and its wedding business.
It gives the reader a more in depth look at the things they always expected were happening in
Nevada but were never concerned enough about to do the research. While I already knew most of
the information in the essay, Didion presented it in such an entertaining, sarcastic manner that I
was never bored. Without coming right out and saying just what she thought of the industry she
told us exactly how she felt about the Las Vegas spur of the moment way of life by choosing her
words very carefully. All of these services, like most others in Las Vegas...are offered twenty four
hours a day, seven days a week, presumably on the premise that... Show more content on

The picture of the wedding party sipping pink champagne (minus the bride who is too young to do

bride was several months pregnant she shows that the Las Vegas wedding is probably not the real
desire but the necessity, demonstrating that drunken impulse is

Macbeth Quotes From Banquo
Character: Banquo
Partner: Macbeth
Quotation #1: All s well./ I dreamt last night of the three WeГЇrd Sisters./ To you they have showed
some truth (Mac. 2.1.24 26).
Translation: All is fine. Tonight I dreamed of the WeГ
Їrd Sisters. They have showed some truth in
what they foretold about you.
Fighting for: Banquo is fighting to calm Macbeth. Banquo does not know why Macbeth is awake,
but as his friend he wants to ensure that Macbeth is fine, able to relax and return to sleep. Banquo
is also explaining why he is awake. Banquo strives to convey his worries over the WeГЇrd Sisters
and their encounter with them.
Circumstances: Banquo is awake because his thoughts are troubled over his encounter with the
WeГЇrd Sisters. The WeГЇrd Sisters foretell that Banquo s children will become kings. In order for
this to occur, one of Banquo s sons would have to commit a regicide. This thought is so terrifying
that it is preventing Banquo from sleeping. Meanwhile, Macbeth is about to commit a regicide and
pauses on his journey to converse with Banquo.
Poetic Device:
The second line scans in iambic pentameter, whereas the third line does not scan. There is
assonance on the long e sound of three, and WeГЇrd. There is alliteration on the w of well, and
WeГЇrd. There is consonance on the d sound of dreamt, WeГЇrd, and showed, on the r sound of
three, WeГЇrd, Sisters, and truth, and on the t sound of dreamt, last, night, Sisters, to, and truth.
Conclusion: Night is used to explain when Banquo thinkings about the WeГЇrd Sisters. The words
imply that they are in the back of his mind constantly and present enough for him to dream about
them. The night is when Banquo subconsciously ponders their mysteries. Night also signifies that
this though happened recently and the time was important.

How To Write An Essay About The Discovery Of The Sea
When he got to his console and surveyed the data he gasped at the magnitude of life it had found.
A thirty thousand feet below was a multitude of flying beasts that seemed to cover the waters as a
blanket would cover a newborn. These animals ranged in size from fist to ship size. This discovery
was awesomely unexpected. He watched as they soared almost effortlessly among the thermals,
randomly dove into the ocean and reappeared moments later mouths full of wriggling sea life.
Sitting down he did a more in depth scan and found the ocean teeming with small fish just below

Analysis Of The Movie Poor Kids
There are millions of people in poverty. People can be very well off and then within a few
months they could become poor. Becoming poor can cause a lot of stress and depression. The
movie Poor Kids displays how being poor can affect kids and their families. In order for one to
better understand how being poor affects the economy, one could view Poor Kids to see
examples of how being poor affects children s activities, children s future jobs, and their health.
When a family is poor, there are not very many activities for the children to partake in. In Poor
Kids, Kaylie Hageman and her siblings spend most of their days trying to make money for the
family. Her family is very poor because her mother can not hold a well enough paying job long
enough to pay their bills. Most days Kaylie s older brother goes around town mowing lawns for
$10 a lawn while Kaylie collects cans to refund. This is very hard on kids since they do not have
enough money to buy items for activities. Instead of playing games, the kids have fun by earning
money which almost all of it goes to the mother to pay off bills. This can lead to stress and
depression, which can affect a childs motivation to make friends or work hard in life. If the child
does not have motivation, they will not acquire the skills necessary to obtain and keep a job that
can help them survive. While children have a hard time in partaking in activities, being poor in
childhood can affect their future lives as well. When

Women have been the most discriminated against group of people in the entire history of
humankind. They have been abused, held back in society, and oftentimes restricted to the home life,
leading dull, meaningless lives while men make sure the world goes round. It seems strange that
half of the world s population could be held down so long; ever since the dawn of humanity,
women have been treated like second class citizens. Only in the past 100 years or so have women
started to win an equal place in society in the Western world. However, the fight for equality has

Such a statement demonstrates how she has not only fallen for his false piety, but she has also
unknowingly adopted his hypocrisy. She treats her own family in the worst of ways, being both
smug and argumentative at the same time. Mme. Pernelle obviously does not embrace the Christian
virtues of kindness and love for one another.
Madame Pernelle knows her station in life as set forth by society. The reader can assume that
she is an older lady and has been brought up in social circles. Despite being a widow, she does not
seem to possess great independence. Her harsh words to her family members preach traditional

After all, there was a reason why the framers of the Constitution of the United States regulated the
powers of the branches of government, and also granted and denied powers to the government. In
terms of powers to the branches, the framers wanted to have three separate branches of government
with their individual powers, working together to form a more synchronized and unified

Japan runs under a Constitutional Monarchy, however, like the US, they do have 3 branches of
government. One of the main similarities between the US and Japan is the supreme court. Both
supreme courts are the highest law of the land, and both assume very similar powers, such as
judicial reviews, and declaring acts unconstitutional. Also similar to the United States, the National
Diet, Japan s legislature has two houses, the House of Councillors, and ironically, the House of
Representatives. Japan s legislature assumes many of the same powers as the US Congress, as it
has the ability to make laws and control the national budget. Unlike the US, the National Diet has
the power to select the Prime Minister of Japan with a majority ruling. A main difference between
the US and Japan is the executive branch. Japan has a national emperor, however, the emperor
assumes no real political power and is merely a figurehead. The political head of the executive
branch is the Prime Minister, who has very similar powers as the President of the United States. In
terms of powers granted to the government, in Japan, they are almost all granted to the national
governments. Unlike the United States, the 47 prefectures (states) of Japan have little to no power,

The Environmental And Environmental Impacts Of The Fast...
The fashion industry has changed a lot since ancient times and the 1800s. The way fabric was
traded and made is different now. The fabrics in past decades were more natural and handmade.
More recently fabrics have changed to a manmade or synthetic fabric. These fabrics pollute the
environment and make it harder for people to live.
Many people buy cheap clothes from chain clothing stores, like forever 21, H M, and Zara.
Although these clothes are cheap, these clothes have a big backstory before they get to the
stores. They have lots of reasons why these clothes are so cheap. There is a term for clothes that are
made from overseas, by workers who are paid less. It called Fast Fashion, fast fashion are clothes
are cheaper and are usually low quality (Ojiala). Fast fashion has been developing over the past
two decades(Pagotto). Many of the brands that support the fast fashion trend release 18 collections
a year ( Cris in Our Closets ). The Fast fashion industry provides marketplaces with inexpensive
clothes for most young women (Luz).
Fast fashion has a big impact on the environment and on the employees of the fashion industry. The
environment is deteriorating because of the fabric and clothes in the industry. The fast fashion
industry creates 10% of the world s pollution (Bedat). With each part of making the clothes, from
the fabric, to the shipping creates an environmental and occupational hazard (Luz). Not only is the
environment impacted, but so are the employees. Many of

programs designed to prevent a plethora of foreclosures and reduce further damages to the

Failure to implement homeowner relief programs would yield results that far exceeded local
and state boundaries creating a nationwide catastrophe. As it is with the wide array of relief
programs that 30% of those who qualified for relief have defaulted again (ElBoghdady, 2014).
Now, imagine the level of defaults if such programs did not exist. The lasting impacts of such
programs could do wonders for the borrowers receiving help from the modifications or aid
associated with the aforementioned relief programs. However, this would be less than desirable
from an investor position who contributed to or agreed to offer relief in various forms. The
unknown variables in the housing market could fall and result in the borrowers being upside again.
Further affecting the banks with undervalued assets could result in a loss of investor confidence
and face a collapse similar to that of Lehman Brothers. Although Lehman Brothers had other
contributing factors to their collapse, contributory actions in the collapse was a result of bad
mortgages and lack of investment to sustain its debts and operating expenses. Not having programs
such as these could result in large investment firms either going out of business or the government
deciding to use tax payer dollars to bail out the investment banks. Either way this depreciates
property value and reduces income. The second and third order affects associated with reduced
income and plummeting property values will directly affect consumer spending. This absence of
consumer spending will create a ripple effect that could result in less supply and demand and
increase unemployment. All of which could put the country into a depression that it may not be

Graham Greene s Use of Characterization in A Little Place off the Edgware Road
In A little place off the Edgware Road there are two focal characters. We learn the name of only
one of these characters and the other remains unnamed throughout the story. This is the first
interesting thing about Greene s use of characterization. By not naming one of the characters we
see him as more mysterious and it helps us to realise at the end that he is just a figment of Craven
s imagination. Greene writes in the third person rather than giving us the ultimate insight into
Craven s head by writing in the first person. This also gives us a certain distance from Craven and

Recent research on the life of Graham Greene has shown that he hired many prostitutes. This is
reflected in Craven s view that you need money for love, which is what Greene also believed.
Craven is also losing his faith in God.. He asks himself, Why should he be asked to believe in the
resurrection of this body he wanted to forget? We also get the impression from this Craven might
be old and his body decaying. But this decay of his body is not merely in the physical sense. It has
a spiritual meaning too. In the Christian religion resurrection of the body upon the return of Christ
is an important theme. Again this is interesting because it gives us another insight into Greene
himself. He came from a very strict Catholic background which he rebelled against. Consequently
much of his work is about guilt, conscience and the effects of straying from godliness.
Craven finds posters advertising a theatre which is showing a film. This theatre is much like
Craven. Old, decaying and tired. The film he goes to see is about death and suicide. I think that the
fact that this is the only film that is showing is meant to show that death is inevitable and
unavoidable and there is no choice about it, it just happens. There is an interesting line from the
film Craven is watching which says, I am not afraid of death, Lucius in your

Crowded classroom conditions not only make it difficult for students to concentrate on their
lessons, but inevitably limit the number of time teachers can spend on innovative teaching methods
such as cooperative learning or group work or, indeed on teaching anything beyond the barest
minimum of required material (Burnett, Rivera Batiz, Marti 1995 p. 1). Students will disrupt the
teaching atmosphere because they just don t want to learn or just don t understand what is being

Replacing parts on an instantaneous unit is easy, which extends the life of the unit even more.
Cons
The upfront cost of the unit.
Tankless water heater installation is expensive.
Due to its high powered burners, special venting systems are necessary with on demand water
heaters. Units that operate on natural gas frequently need a larger diameter gas pipe, which
increases the cost of installation.
Smaller units cannot produce the amount of hot water needed in most households. These smaller
units can only serve one faucet at a time.
Larger tankless units have the ability to provide sufficient water for an entire family. However,
these units are much more expensive than the smaller units are.
If an on demand water heater turns off following a task and you turn the hot water back on a few
minutes later, you may experience a cold water sandwich. The hot water that remained in the
piping after the first task will flow out and then cold water flows past the water heater before the
unit is triggered to turn back on (Hot Cold

Common Themes In Dystopian Movies
Throughout all four of my dystopian films a strong theme that has been brought to the surface is
the idea of individuality is the enemy . As a dystopian film is an illusion to the perfect society,
they go hand in hand. The illusion of a perfect society is typically maintained through the use of
corporate bodies and entities. Dystopian films are typical to play on the worst case scenario of a
situation, within the four films studied Divergent, Macbeth, V for Vendetta and Mokingjay part 2,
the worst case scenario is seen when the government takes control and citizens are under constant

These are all themes that relate to homicides, people are generally killed when they have more
power then someone else or they simply don t want to deal with the problem anymore. It is in this
movie that we see Tris and Four defeat the system, they firstly defeat the system through their
manner, the fact that they are able to confront their deepest fears and are able to see through the
idea of a perfect society. Divergent s also work out that you don t need to be paired with people
that share the mutual hate that you have towards another faction in this case. Tris and Four
manipulate the system as they can see that the government has split up everyone so that they don t
unite and combine all of their skill sets. This is why we see that the government purposely divides
people to stop them from combining their skill sets and becoming more powerful then the
government.
This relates to the homicide rate in Chicago in the current world as the year that Tris and Four
defeated the system the homicides in real life decreased. Showing that the homicide rate in Chicago
was used as a draw point to establish themes throughout the movie. Through the use of editing
within Divergent it is established that the relationships between the recruits and each other are

The Horror Of The Vietnam War
Well Done
Since the Vietnam War was fought in Southeast Asia, it is difficult for many Americans to imagine
what the people of South Vietnam experienced during the Vietnam War. To better understand, the
American people had to rely on eye witness accounts, film clips, and photographs. One photograph
in particular captures the horror of the Vietnam War. It is the image of Phan Phuc, a naked, nine year
old, South Vietnamese girl, taken on June 8, 1972, by Nick Ut. The photograph shows the horrors
of napalm, the emotionless soldiers, and photo journalists, and children suffering.
Jets tear through the air over a green jungle in Vietnam. What is a beautiful, peaceful, thriving
jungle, with villages and families will soon be a charred ash pit with nothing but the lingering
feeling of what once was. As bombs drop and the liquid fire races through the jungle, everything
in its path is destroyed. Trees that have stood the test of time, burned over. Resource providing
plants turned to ash. People s homes and everything they have, destroyed. They flee, screaming
for their lives. Mothers and fathers separated from their families. Children left to die in a burning
jungle. While some make it out, most are likely charred to crisp. Left homeless, with nowhere to

burnt flesh burns your nostrils. Thick, black smog fills the air and begins to flatten out over the

the late 1970s where neurological studies boomed and credited Alzheimer s as an accepted
disease. Later as a result, the Alzheimer s Association was created in 1985. (Reger 2) This
gradually perpetuated further understanding of this disorder that is still being continued today.
Although research has not shown any definitive causes of AD, there are significant risk factors.
The most highly prominent known risk factor for AD is in fact age. Age plays a crucial role in
determining the severity of ones AD and is distinguished by two types: early onset (Familial
Alzheimer s disease or FAD) and late onset (Sporadic AD). FAD rarely appears and follows an
obvious inheritance pattern. Statistically less than ten percent are classified as FAD. Early onset
usually makes itself known between the ages of thirty to sixty years of age. This may also present

The Importance Of Groups In Sociology
The groups with which an individual associate themselves plays an important role on that
individual s socialization and maturation throughout their life span. Groups and categories can
differ in their definitions, but according to Discover Sociology: Third Edition written by William
J. Chambliss and Daina S. Eglitis, the groups which we belong to can range from intimate
relationships such as familial and spousal to less intimate but still close relationships such as
friendships and work relationships to acquaintanceships such as people that we are around often
but do not have a specific relation to. The textbook also discusses how these specific relationships
can be split up into two broader categories, primary and secondary groups. Primary groups are
defined as relationships with intense emotional ties, intimacy, and identification with membership
in the group while secondary groups are defined as large, impersonal groups with minimal
emotional and intimate ties (Chamblis Eglitis, 2017). The groups that an individual belongs to
directly impact their socialization as they can impact an individual emotionally and even
biologically. Some group memberships are chosen, while others are chosen for us. For example,
each of us is born into our main primary group, the family, while we have more say in our
involvement with our secondary group such as our athletic organizations and work groups.
According to Charles Horton Cooley, primary groups have a long lasting significance on

Republican President Ronald Reagan served as...
Republican President Ronald Reagan served as Commander in chief from January 1981 to
January of 1989, holding his position in office for two terms. When Reagan took his oath into
office, he inherited prior damage from predecessor Jimmy Carter, including the issue of the
Iranian Hostage Crisis as well as damage inflicted by the Vietnam War from years prior. Reagan s
start in politics was not the normal approach. Coming from a successful career as a popular
Hollywood actor, Reagan acquired his interest in politics in a more unconventional way. As
president of the Screen Actors Guild, Reagan became involved in disputes over the issue of
Communism in the film industry. His political views quickly shifted from liberal to conservative

Reagan inherited a misery index (the sum of the inflation and unemployment rates) of 19.99%,
and when he left office it had dropped to 9.72% . Under Reaganomics, 16 million new jobs were
created. Not only did he cut tax rates, but the Tax Reform Act of 1986 simplified the income tax
code by eliminating many tax shelters, reducing the number of deductions and tax brackets.
Reagan s dream of tax returns fitting on a postcard has been nullified as Congress has regressed
and continued to make the tax code more complex, necessitating a new push for reform. Reagan
played a large part in restrengthening the weak, ineffectual, and vulnerable military which left
behind after President Carters time in office. The Reagan administration funded research and
development of weapons systems, including stealth technology and precision weaponry, later used
in Persian Gulf wars. Reagan s buildup was the largest peacetime defense enlargement in history,
which included larger training ranges and military pay increases, helped invigorate the American
military from its Vietnam War era despondency. The Vietnam War had left severe damage on
America s military forces as well as the country as a whole, and even years later still had an impact
on our military efforts. Reagans contributions began rebuilding it up, and eventually

Machiavelli Characteristics
Machiavelli lived in Italy, in the 1400 s. Italy was divided into city states and every state had its
own leader, but everyone also was ruled under a king. Machiavelli wrote this book, The Prince,
in order to help a leader how to lead. It was very important at that time that a leader was strong in
order to develop and move forward with his rule and empire. Machiavelli created this theory in
order to help these leaders control their society powerfully. He tries to represent the perfect leader
and his ways on how to rule. Machiavelli thinks mainly that man by his nature is evil. That s why
people only pursue their own self interest. That s why a ruler should be feared than loved according
to Machiavelli.

New principalities are principalities that have just been created and it is not hereditary, the ruler
will start to build himself from scratch, and wanting to be the ruler and finally accomplishing his

started for a long time, but the leadership does not pass from father to son. Finally is the heredity
principal, which is the principality that a ruler inherits from father to son. Machiavelli stated on
how to rule the different principalities and what challenges going to happen to the ruler in each
case. The hereditary leaders have an easier time than new princes because the people are already
used to their hereditary leaders, accept their power, and they have an idea already on how they

up to date and relevant within the market place. There are a number of reasons as to why
organizations need to change; essentially the organization is in need of a change of because of
external factors or a need for a change within the organizational culture. External evolutions of
technological and cultural factors can all impact the success of an intended organizational change.

The Life You Save May Be Your Own Short Story Analysis
What brings you true joy? Is it family and friends, a religion, or some material item? In the short
story, The Life You Save May Be Your Own, Flannery O Connor gives examples of what can
bring Tom Shiftlet joy and what he chooses instead. A tramp, Shiftlet, wanders to the Crater
house in search of a job. Mrs. Crater knows her farm needs a good fixing, so she allows Shiftlet
to sleep in the car and will feed him if he fixes things at the house. Mrs. Crater tries to pawn her
daughter, Lucynell, off on Shiftlet. Mrs Crater offers the car Mr. Shiftlet fixed, a place to live, and
$17.50 just to marry Lucynell. Shiftlet finally agrees and accepts the bribe. On their honeymoon,
Shiftlet leaves Lucynell at a diner and moves forward with his new car. A major theme that O
Connor repeated throughout her short storywas how many things can block your vision of what
truly matters in life. O Connor reflects in all of her writings that God, and his gifts, are the things
that can bring everlasting joy. She knows that there are always roadblocks in the way, though.
Throughout the short story, The Life You Save May Be Your Own, Flannery O Connor uses
literary elements of symbolism, characterization, and naturalism to develop her theme of finding
what truly matters in life. Symbols within a story can help to represent greater meaning out of
one piece of work. Flannery develops symbolism through the car and through Shiftlet. Shiftlet is
compared to Christ the savior many times, but then later reveals himself to be more of an anti
Christ. O Connor describes Shiftlet as a wanderer who, swung both his whole and his short arm
slowly so that they indicated an expanse of sky and his figure formed a crooked cross (O Connor
675). This is the first time that Flannery compares Shiftlet to JesusChrist by forming a cross. The
cross is very symbolic towards Jesus because that is how God shows his love to all mankind.
Shiftlet only has one arm, though, which shows that if he were to be compared to Jesus, he
would be a flawed Christ. Not only does the crooked cross symbolize a flawed Christ, but also
foreshadows that Shiftlet may tend to show a flaw or even deny God s compassion. The car that
Shiftlet voluntarily fixes is also a

the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready no matter when
it may overtake me. This mindset made itself quite apparent as he engaged in intense battle after
battle where bullets were all around him. Unfortunately he was shot in the left arm by friendly
fire while he was riding in front of his lines at dusk at the Battle of Chancellorsville. His left arm
was amputated. While on his deathbed, Jackson said, You see me severely wounded, but not

Abstract
The article focuses on the model of security engineering, which can be separated into two different
parts: operational and controllable. The operational part of model provides useful data on the
performance of the system. With the collected data, it can lead to creating a better result on the
second part of the model which is to define the security controls. Security control provides the
measurement of the system. For each phase, there is a certain control that needs to be performed.

Document the high level concept and bring into the next phase, design phase.
The second phase is called design phase. Capture the information from the previous phase and
establish a plan. A plan that provides an architectural view to put into action. The design phase
comes after a good understanding of customer s requirements (Alwan, 2015). The design phase is
basically creating an action plan for the rest of the process to follow.
The third phase is called the development phase. In the development phase, the engineers are
focusing on the objectives.
The fourth phase is called the deployment phase. During the deployment phase, the development
product should fulfill the criteria of the customer. In some life cycle model, this stage usually being
called integration, verification, and validation. Moreover, in the deployment phase, this is where
the engineering s object being integrated into the system (Marchant, 2013).
The fifth phase is called the operations phase. The operation phase is simply making sure all
activities are sustained and function properly. Not only making sure the objects are working, but
also providing support, updates, and repairs.
The last phase of the SDLC is called the retirement phase. Without the retirement phase, the security
vulnerability may be exposed. Disposing the old system and making sure the API, and database is

  • 4. Symbols Used In Ground Zero Cross Among one of the most famous symbols used in Ground Zero is the Ground Zero Cross. It represents the spiritual and physical healing this country desperately needed. After the attacks on 9 11, Fr. Brian Jordan OFM, a Roman Catholic Franciscan priest, said it was a symbol of hope... [a] symbol of faith... [a] symbolof healing. Symbols are very important and influential to everyone. Symbols holds a hidden meaning that, in most cases, are more influential than telling it blunt. Yes, sometimes telling it bluntly works but putting it as a symbol shows a deeper meaning and relevance to what you, your community, or your nation stands for. This symbol, the Ground Zero Cross, reveals that our country believes in freedom for all. Focusing on religious freedom, we see how this cross shaped symbol shows that even when hit, literally or figuratively, for our beliefs we can still fight, move forward, and survive.... Another trait is that even when hit in difficult times, the people in a nation can join forces and bring their country back to its feet. Volunteers, firefighters, policemen and dogs all worked together to help clear the rubble from the twin towers and help save lives. This memorial is a tribute to 9 11 by showing the younger generations, who weren t around or too young to remember, all about the terrorist attacks on 9 11. By displaying things found in the rubble at the Ground Zero Museum it shows a walk through of what happened on that day. From the Ground Zero Cross to the names etched around the pools where the towers once stood, it s a remembrance striving to make sure we never forget what happened on the horrible ... I appreciate everything you have done for me so far and though there were great qualities to this training program, I believe that there are many areas that could be improved upon as well. I know that you have put ample time into a training manual to make sure that new employees are learning everything they should. The purpose of this letter is solely to give you input from the other side of the training manual. There may be things that you may not have realized and I personally think this would be beneficial to your employees or prospects. You may have noticed that after the initial training period, I still had plenty of questions that were not addressed during the training session. I would like to start this letter with the great aspects of this training program. I really appreciated that you have cleared your schedule for 2 days to explain to me the process of my job. My first impression was when you had pulled out a list of topics that you would like to discuss over. It seems very organized and well thought out. The list of topics hit every important task that I am going to have to do along with the programs needed in order for me to do my job correctly. Not only was this list informal, but it also allowed for you to check off the topics that we have already addressed. Another part of the training process that I thought ... Comedy in I Henry IV and II Henry IV In I Henry IV and II Henry IV, William Shakespeare brings together drama and comedy to create two of the most compelling history plays ever written. Many of Shakespeare s other works are nearly absolute in their adherence to either the comic or tragic traditions, but in the two Henry IV plays Shakespeare combines comedy and drama in ways that seem to bring a certain realism to his characters, and thus the plays. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... (II Henry IV, II. iv. 113 122) The scene is filled with bawdy references and second meanings, meanings which the audience would undoubtedly find uproarously funny. Hal, too, often speaks this language of the lower classes, especially when chiding Falstaff: These lies are like the father that begets them gross as a mountain, open, palpable. Why, thou clay brained guts, thou knotty pated fool, thou whoreson obscene greasy tallow catch (I Henry IV, II. iv. 224 227). The language Shakespeare uses in the tavern scenes is certainly different from the more solemn and courtly language found in the plays more dramatic moments, as in Hal s gallantry towards Hotspur upon the latter s death: Prince. But let my favors hide thy mangled face; And, even in thy behalf, I ll thank myself For doing these fair rites of tenderness Adieu, and take thy praise with thee to heaven. Thy ignominy sleep with thee in the grave, But not remembered in thy epitaph. (I Henry IV, V. iv. 95 100) The differences in styles of language truly brings alive the plays various characters, from the lowliest drawer to the noblest knight. The playwright s audience would have been composed of a similarly diverse spectrum of society, from the groundlings at the foot of the stage, to the members of the court in attendance, and these disparate members of the audience might very well have come away from the plays with different interpretations of ... • 12. The Presidential Candidate Of Education Reform I for one believe Hillary Rodham Clinton is the best presidential candidate of education reform in the 2016 election. Mrs. Clinton has an impeccable record on this issue and consistently fought for the rights of all American s access to quality education. Her crusade as a public servant for quality educationbegan thirty three years ago in 1983.The Arkansasschool system ranked 50th in the nation. Mrs. Clinton was appointed by Governor Bill Clintonto chair the Educational Standards Committee, to recommend reforms. It is not an exaggeration to say the state s educational system remains broken. TIME Magazine dubbed Arkansas the long time Dogpatch of the nation s school system However, this crisis in education extended from coast to coast. In pushing for higher standards, Mrs. Clinton stated, Our schools are not doing as good as they must. While there may be many causes for our dilemma, there is only one solution. We Arkansans have to quit making excuses and accept instead the challenge of excellence once and for all. (ED Reform,2016) The newly established committee solicited advice from the public, in all of Arkansas 75 counties. Following this extensive research, Mrs. Clinton came up with a comprehensive set of regulations aimed at overhauling the state s failing education system. The Education Standards committee s recommendations included: Upgrading curriculum standards and course requirements. Increasing teacher salaries and possible merit pay. Establishing a ... • 13. Persuasive Essay On Respect As children we are taught to always show respect to those around us. We are taught to never say no to an adult, to listen and to use manners to everyone around us. But as we grow older we develop a sense of rebelliousness, and an urge to question every single moral and value we have learned. So the burning question arises: Should respect be given to everyone no matter what, or is it something that needs to be earned? I believe that respect is a given. Like a natural right, it is born with it, and it is your choice whether you can gain more or lose it. People around the world have been fighting all around the world for equality. Isn t that the same as respect? We have been fighting for respect this whole time, so why should we suddenly discriminate every organism on this planet. Everyone has a side of insecurity and if we keep making people feel ashamed of that, there would be no respect. Respect is what separates me from you, him from her. But shouldn t everyone get respect no matter the case? From CEOs to retail workers? According to The Positivity Solution, an organization dedicated to spread positivity, dignity, and kindness, Rudeness is often a by product of a lack of respect. Not to sound like Captain Obvious here, but most people don t choose to be rude and disrespectful to people who they respect, do they? . What they are trying to convey is that people often don t give everyone the respect they deserve. When we do not give people respect, we lose respect for ourselves and become rude in other people s eyes. As we learn to realize that everyone deserves respect, we can see that even the most small things can earn our attention. If you are consciously deciding to give people respect or not, that is a mistake. Why do people need your acceptance to be treated equally? They do not. And if you are making a choice based on shallow judgment, you are destroying the love and kindness that others have shown to you. To be critical like that is unacceptable and wrong universally. A person s a person, no matter how small said Dr. Suess, an award winning children s books writer. Everyone wants to be accepted, some people at all costs. Essay about Poetry Analysis Mezzo Cammin Mezzo Cammin The poem Mezzo Cammin by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow explains his regretful life and his reasoning at why he didn t live it to its full potential and how he looks at his past. It then looks to his future as being near and bearing a huge weight down on him. The way Longfellow talks about his life is depressing. He doesn t speak of the good accomplishments, only the things he hasn t done until he looks back into the past and then forward at how the future may be. He describes it strangely, And hear above me on the autumnal blast The cataract of Death far thundering from the heights. These lines are very open ended and in one way he could be speaking of death as far away by the way he describes the thundering waterfall very high up. The reference to height could mean its at a good distance that he can see it, but its still far away. It could also mean he has more of his life to live up to and his regretful past doesn t mean much to him anymore because he has his future to look forward to as he is on his metaphorical hill of life. In another view, he could be describing death as being right around the corner and him looking right at it when he describes the waterfall. You could look at it as him having a life threatening disease and him knowing his death is coming soon, which could also describe the way he views his past full of regret. If he knew the end is coming soon and he doesn t believe he fully lived his life to how he wishes, the regret is understandable and the cataract of death makes sense in this point of view. Overall, this poem shows the past, present, and future of the writer. His life is full of regret at points and then seems hopeful in others. The increase of levels of the MC influenced FI and BWG Table 5. The maximum FI could be observed between the second and the forth levels in the initial phase, first and second level in growing and finish phase to male and female broiler fed with increased level of MC. The increase inclusion of MC in the feed caused a range in MCi between lower and upper levels in female broiler of 23.16 initial, 407.72 grower, 775.97 mg/bird.day in finish phase and 242.04, 463.99 and 904.84 mg/bird.day initial, grower and finish phase in male, respectively. The range of BWG in female was: 18.78 initial, 27.11 grower, 30.72 g/bird.day in finish phase and male broiler: 20.06, 34.67 and 45.92 g/bird.day during initial, growing and finish phase, respectively. It is possible observed that the males have higher range of responses in BWG and MCi in the three phases studied when compared to female s broiler. For BWG is observed that the plateau is reached between the fourth and fifth levels of MC. Parameters of monomolecular The responses of MCi to BWG was studied in three rearing phases in both sexes through of the nonlinear model. The range of the responses of experimental data were enough to adjust the function with good fit. The monomolecular model estimated the BWG.max in 30, 64.9 and 89 (g /day) in female and 32.0, 73.7 and 116.1 (g/day) for male initial, grower and finisher phase, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 17. A Study On The Cardiac Rhythm Introduction: The electrocardiogram remains the single most important tool for interpretation of the cardiac rhythm. 1 It can be used to successfully pick up conduction abnormalities, rhythm disturbances, possible myocardial ischemia, and a slew of other abnormalities that can be linked to various cardiac or metabolic diseases. 1,2 ECGs can also be used as a preventive tool to screen for abnormalities early in the disease process. 3,4 In 1982, Italy passed a law that all individuals who want to compete in competitive sports undergo a clinical evaluation that included an assessment of family history, person history, a physical exam, and an electrocardiogram. The bulk of the evaluation relied heavily on the ECG looking for any abnormalities... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This program recruited community volunteers to perform the ECGs and were given a standardized training on how to correctly obtain one. The ECGs were then interpreted by 6 cardiologists experienced in adolescent ECGs. Among the 32,561 screened, 2.5% had abnormal ECGs. The importance of this study was to show that mass ECG screenings can be efficiently obtained and still yield quality results when assessing for risk factors for SCA. This study reported that the cost per ECG was only $8.67, which is more proof of why ECG screening should become a standardized preventive modality. ECGs can play an essential role in monitoring the status of a patient and for recognizing trends in the patients progression. Fesmire et al5 reported that serial ECGs were more sensitive for evaluating acute myocardial infarctions (AMI) and acute coronary syndrome (ACS) than an initial ECG. Serial ECGs were 68.1% more sensitive for identifying AMI compared to 55.4% using an initial ECG. For ACS, serial ECGs were 34.2% more sensitive compared to 27.5% for an initial ECG. The purpose of this ECG workshop is to teach people to be proficient at reading ECGs. The amount of information that an individual can obtain from an ECG can be extremely beneficial in helping with diagnosis of patients or determining the proper treatment. • 18. Provision of Care for Patient with HIV Provision of Care for Patient with HIV: As a global epidemic, HIV has created several challenges for doctors and health care facilities since it represents an overwhelming public health crisis. While there are various factors that contribute to its spread, initiatives to combat the virus are usually influenced by the availability of human and financial resources. In the past few years, several measures have been undertaken to help curb the spread of the virus and its effects on patients. These initiatives are primarily divided into two categories i.e. provision of care to patients and treatment of the virus. One of the major ways in which HIV patients are provided with care is through policy and programming that is centered on HIV and AIDS related care (Ogden, Esim Grown, 2006, p.333). Generally, caring for a patient with HIV needs significant time and resources, which has contributed to the shift of clinical care to the home and community. The provision of care for patient with HIV includes a series of various steps in the care continuum in the home and the community. The first step is follow up care that is built on strong routine screening processes, which help in early identification of infected persons ( Connecting HIV Infected Patients to Care , 2009). Regular screening contributes to early diagnosis and treatment that can considerably enhance the health of the infected patients and prevent new infections. In these times guards that worked for the lords of kingdoms were assigned the job of collecting taxes. Though the first real law enforcement as we see it today goes back to the colonial age in both England and newly found America. Colonial America followed the the British form of a policeorganization. This idea was a sheriff appointed by the governor of a colony, enforced laws, collected taxes and maintained public property throughout the colony. The amount law enforcement has evolved over the years has made it more capable and able to deal with the problems of this new age much different than that of the revolutionary time period. Law enforcement has evolved because as time went on technologies came along which criminals had access to and crimes got more creative and complex. For example a rather new crime with modern society and new technologies brought on is cyberbullying. As the time went on and the law enforcement system evolved and crimes got more serious and in depth and technologies advanced for both criminals and police. This is why another important thing changed in law enforcement, the equipment that they carry. The first law enforcements system in the United States in the pre revolutionary and revolutionary times was the night watch which was similar to the modern day neighborhood watch. They didn t wear uniforms or carry guns they mostly just watched out for suspicious activity and made people aware of anything that went wrong. Upon seeing Jack, the ghoul slowly pushes back the curtain and immerges from the tub walking towards Jack. Jack seeing a, sexual invitation, advances towards the women. Becoming poor can cause a lot of stress and depression. The movie Poor Kids displays how being poor can affect kids and their families. In order for one to better understand how being poor affects the economy, one could view Poor Kids to see examples of how being poor affects children s activities, children s future jobs, and their health. When a family is poor, there are not very many activities for the children to partake in. In Poor Kids, Kaylie Hageman and her siblings spend most of their days trying to make money for the family. Her family is very poor because her mother can not hold a well enough paying job long enough to pay their bills. Most days Kaylie s older brother goes around town mowing lawns for $10 a lawn while Kaylie collects cans to refund. This is very hard on kids since they do not have enough money to buy items for activities. Instead of playing games, the kids have fun by earning money which almost all of it goes to the mother to pay off bills. This can lead to stress and depression, which can affect a childs motivation to make friends or work hard in life. If the child does not have motivation, they will not acquire the skills necessary to obtain and keep a job that can help them survive. Instead of continuously storing hot water, tankless units heat the water when the faucet is turned on. These units are also referred to as on demand, or instantaneous water heaters. However, this type of water heater is not for everyone. Take a look at the pros and cons of an on demand water heater to decide if this kind of water heater is right for you. Pros and Cons of an On Demand Water Heater Pros On demand water heaters are more energy efficient than conventional water heaters. Tankless water heater installation is expensive. Due to its high powered burners, special venting systems are necessary with on demand water heaters. Units that operate on natural gas frequently need a larger diameter gas pipe, which increases the cost of installation. Smaller units cannot produce the amount of hot water needed in most households. These smaller units can only serve one faucet at a time. Larger tankless units have the ability to provide sufficient water for an entire family. However, these units are much more expensive than the smaller units are. If an on demand water heater turns off following a task and you turn the hot water back on a few minutes later, you may experience a cold water sandwich. The hot water that remained in the piping after the first task will flow out and then cold water flows past the water heater before the unit is triggered to turn back on (Hot Cold ... As a dystopian film is an illusion to the perfect society, they go hand in hand. The illusion of a perfect society is typically maintained through the use of corporate bodies and entities. Dystopian films are typical to play on the worst case scenario of a situation, within the four films studied Divergent, Macbeth, V for Vendetta and Mokingjay part 2, the worst case scenario is seen when the government takes control and citizens are under constant supervision or fear for their everyday lives. Divergent s also work out that you don t need to be paired with people that share the mutual hate that you have towards another faction in this case. Tris and Four manipulate the system as they can see that the government has split up everyone so that they don t unite and combine all of their skill sets. This is why we see that the government purposely divides people to stop them from combining their skill sets and becoming more powerful then the government. This relates to the homicide rate in Chicago in the current world as the year that Tris and Four defeated the system the homicides in real life decreased. Showing that the homicide rate in Chicago was used as a draw point to establish themes throughout the movie. The Horror Of The Vietnam War Well Done Since the Vietnam War was fought in Southeast Asia, it is difficult for many Americans to imagine what the people of South Vietnam experienced during the Vietnam War. To better understand, the American people had to rely on eye witness accounts, film clips, and photographs. One photograph in particular captures the horror of the Vietnam War. It is the image of Phan Phuc, a naked, nine year old, South Vietnamese girl, taken on June 8, 1972, by Nick Ut. The photograph shows the horrors of napalm, the emotionless soldiers, and photo journalists, and children suffering. Jets tear through the air over a green jungle in Vietnam. What is a beautiful, peaceful, thriving jungle, with villages and families will soon be a charred ash pit with nothing but the lingering feeling of what once was. As bombs drop and the liquid fire races through the jungle, everything in its path is destroyed. Trees that have stood the test of time, burned over. Resource providing plants turned to ash. People s homes and everything they have, destroyed. They flee, screaming for their lives. Mothers and fathers separated from their families. Children left to die in a burning jungle. While some make it out, most are likely charred to crisp. Left homeless, with nowhere to go. Bodies lie on the scorched jungle floor like burnt pines in a California wildfire. The Importance Of Groups In Sociology The groups with which an individual associate themselves plays an important role on that individual s socialization and maturation throughout their life span. Groups and categories can differ in their definitions, but according to Discover Sociology: Third Edition written by William J. Chambliss and Daina S. Eglitis, the groups which we belong to can range from intimate relationships such as familial and spousal to less intimate but still close relationships such as friendships and work relationships to acquaintanceships such as people that we are around often but do not have a specific relation to. The textbook also discusses how these specific relationships can be split up into two broader categories, primary and secondary groups. Primary groups are defined as relationships with intense emotional ties, intimacy, and identification with membership in the group while secondary groups are defined as large, impersonal groups with minimal emotional and intimate ties (Chamblis Eglitis, 2017). The groups that an individual belongs to directly impact their socialization as they can impact an individual emotionally and even biologically. Some group memberships are chosen, while others are chosen for us. For example, each of us is born into our main primary group, the family, while we have more say in our involvement with our secondary group such as our athletic organizations and work groups. • 45. The Life You Save May Be Your Own Short Story Analysis What brings you true joy? Is it family and friends, a religion, or some material item? In the short story, The Life You Save May Be Your Own, Flannery O Connor gives examples of what can bring Tom Shiftlet joy and what he chooses instead. A tramp, Shiftlet, wanders to the Crater house in search of a job. Mrs. Crater knows her farm needs a good fixing, so she allows Shiftlet to sleep in the car and will feed him if he fixes things at the house. Mrs. Crater tries to pawn her daughter, Lucynell, off on Shiftlet. Mrs Crater offers the car Mr. Shiftlet fixed, a place to live, and $17.50 just to marry Lucynell. Shiftlet finally agrees and accepts the bribe. On their honeymoon, Shiftlet leaves Lucynell at a diner and moves forward with his new car. A major theme that O Connor repeated throughout her short storywas how many things can block your vision of what truly matters in life. O Connor reflects in all of her writings that God, and his gifts, are the things that can bring everlasting joy. She knows that there are always roadblocks in the way, though. Throughout the short story, The Life You Save May Be Your Own, Flannery O Connor uses literary elements of symbolism, characterization, and naturalism to develop her theme of finding what truly matters in life. Symbols within a story can help to represent greater meaning out of one piece of work. Flannery develops symbolism through the car and through Shiftlet. Shiftlet is compared to Christ the savior many times, but then later reveals himself to be more of an anti Christ. O Connor describes Shiftlet as a wanderer who, swung both his whole and his short arm slowly so that they indicated an expanse of sky and his figure formed a crooked cross (O Connor 675). This is the first time that Flannery compares Shiftlet to JesusChrist by forming a cross. The cross is very symbolic towards Jesus because that is how God shows his love to all mankind. Shiftlet only has one arm, though, which shows that if he were to be compared to Jesus, he would be a flawed Christ. Not only does the crooked cross symbolize a flawed Christ, but also foreshadows that Shiftlet may tend to show a flaw or even deny God s compassion.
