 As on October 2013 LinkedIn was available in 20 
languages. 
 The % of users who check LinkedIn daily are 40% of its 
users. 
 Total number of LinkedIn endorsement 1 billion as on 
march 2013.
Weakness 
 An average user spends only 17 minutes a week on 
LinkedIn. 
 Less engagement of users. 
 People don’t interact on LinkedIn rather they just use 
connections for professional purpose.
Opportunities 
 It is the best platform to connect with those people who are of similar 
field or of similar interest. 
 It could be the best to find clients, service provider, subject experts. 
 It is best professional platform for getting job, new career options, 
business opportunities. 
 LinkedIn Q&A tool the most popular and useful tool which helps in 
relationship building, idea generation, brainstorming and establishing 
thought leadership. 
 LinkedIn direct Ads which can target to a particular class of people 
who are beneficial for us. 
 Videos and images can be used to engage attention.
THREAT 
 Only 13% of millennials (15-34 year old) are available on LinkedIn as per 
September 2013. 
 Any negative action can lead to a big professional loss.
