Donnell March 16th, 2015 Alfred Hitchcock s Vertigo is a classic movie of the mystery genre.
The film takes what appears to be a relatively conventional mystery plot and enacts a process
whereby it proceeds to continually fold it within itself in order to develop a film that appears to
change its nature several times, but that nonetheless continues to perpetuate a sense of mystery.
Indeed, in many ways the experience of watching Vertigo is the experience of seeing something
essential about the world unravelling; something that both applies and does not apply to the

legalizing and regulating such casinos have expressed concerns regarding potentially negative

of Indian tribes, negative impacts could relate to industry monopolization. According to the
National Gambling Impact Study Commission Report (n.d.), large scale Indian casino gambling

Our purpose of the lab is to study the different types of waves, along with, their properties. The
procedures we did was to send a single wave to your partner. Then, move one end forward and
back to create a longitudinal wave. Although, you move the slinky up and down to create a
transverse wave. The result that we got was quite surprising. The waves created different energy
outputs. We learned that the different motions we make with a slinky can create different waves.

On a smooth surface, stretch the slinky out between you and your partner, to a length of about four
meters.(Caution Do not overstretch the slinky)
Send a single wave to your partner.

Observe the what happens when you vary the rate at which your hand moves or vibrates. Next,

Results
Analysis The main purpose of the lab is to study the two basic waves along with, their properties.
The results we got were diverse from each other. The longitudinal waves compress than stretches to
become a rarefaction. However, with the transverse waves, the medium was much slower when it

problems through conservation and management. Some suggestions may not be successfully

The seas around Scotland are the richest seas in Europe for their marine mammals, holding over
twenty species of cetaceans. Both residential and migratory communities are increasingly interfered
by human activities such as fishery by catch, shipping, tourism and pollution, which are disrupting
the natural behavioural patterns of marine creatures, causing injuries and even death. To prevent
these marine mammals from extinction, we have to take actions to protect them and increase their
population abundantly. The majority of Cetacean species are marine; some estuarine and freshwater
species can be found in tropical and sub tropical niches. Cetaceans are aquatic, they have undergone

The Joy Luck Club. Schell starts out by giving some historical background information on China,

The character of Flynn is very likable and relatable. It s easy to care about her. She s not perfect
but that s why the audience likes her. Consider exploring the idea of her fear of abandonment a bit
more. She mentions her father leaving when she was young. This would explain her need to give
Chase a consistent and secure father. It would also trigger some feelings about Nathan leaving her
and her feelings that he abandoned her, especially when she was pregnant, even though he didn t
know about her pregnancy.
At the end, she grows as a character as she realizes not just what is best for her, but what is best
for Chase and Nathan. She also decides to explore her art passion again, which she abandoned,
perhaps out of guilt and/or that she lost a sense of her own identity when Nathan left. One isn t sure
