This study aimed to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of entrepreneurship education programs at universities in Bali. The identified results are used as the basis for formulating strategies
for developing entrepreneurship education in order to be able to create more and more young entrepreneurs. The approach used in this research is SWOT analysis and internal–external matrix. The results of the study indicate that entrepreneurship education at universities in Bali has been going well; however, there are still obstacles or threats faced and weaknesses from the entrepreneurship education programs that have been running, such as lack of high public appreciation, especially parent’s respect toward the entrepreneurial profession, and the lack of awards obtained from universities. Based on the existing environmental conditions, in the future, the obstacles and weaknesses of existing entrepreneurship education need to be improved by frequently conducting literacy on entrepreneurship education to the community and giving higher awards to students who succeed in becoming entrepreneurs.

Strategic planning
It is an essential part of running a successful organization. It can help organizations reach their goals, gain competitive advantages, and maximize resources. It is a process of setting goals, identifying objectives, developing strategies, and creating a plan of action to achieve these goals (George et al., 2019). Doing so helps organizations align their activities and resources to create the best possible results. By planning, organizations can set objectives, develop strategies aligned with their mission and goals, and utilize resources most efficiently to achieve those goals (Brozovic, 2018). Additionally, it allows organizations to stay ahead of the competition by developing a comprehensive and well-thought-out plan for the future (George et al., 2019). Strategic planning also helps organizations better understand their external environment, such as their competitors, which helps them anticipate change and develop strategies to adjust accordingly.
Possible gaps
As the former principal of George H. Oliver Elementary School, I have had the opportunity to observe the strengths and weaknesses of our organization. Over the past few years, there have been many changes and challenges to the school, yet I feel there are still gaps that need to be addressed. One of the most pressing gaps is in technology, and infrastructure-the school has made great strides in the past few years in terms of technology, yet there are still areas such as inadequate Internet access, equipment, and software (Rachmadtullah et al., 2020). The institution must invest in the necessary infrastructure to ensure students have the tools they need to succeed. Another gap I feel is present in the school is the area of student engagement. There are a lot of great teachers and staff that are doing a fantastic job of engaging students. Still, there is a need to go beyond the traditional classroom setting and involve outside activities and classes to engage students (Leighninger and Niedergang, n.d). The administrators must find ways to reach out to the community and involve them in school activities.
Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT)
The SWOT Analysis is an essential strategic planning tool used by businesses, educational institutions, and organizations to assess their internal and external environment and plan their strategies for the future. It is essentially a comprehensive evaluation of an organization's current situation and is used to identify areas for improvement and capitalize on strengths (Teoli et al., 2019). This analysis helps organizations to assess their current position and to develop strategies to improve their future performance. For elementary schools, a SWOT analysis can help school administrators, teachers, and staff gain insights into the current educational environment (Phadermrod et al., 2019). It can determine the school's strengths and weakness.

FAMILY FINANCIAL STATUS AND STUDENTS’ ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION: THE MEDIATOR...IAEME Publication
The paper investigated whether entrepreneurship education mediates the
relationship between students’ family financial status income and their
entrepreneurial intentions or not. Family financial status is defined in this study in
terms of parent’s annual income. Questionnaire was employed to collect data from a
total sample of 320 final year under graduate students of higher education institutions
in Northern Nigeria. The students were selected by using multi-stage stratified random
sampling technique. Mediation analysis using PROCESS MACRO was employed and
bootstrapping technique was used to test the hypothesis of the study. The result
indicates that Family Financial Status (FFS) is indirectly related to students’
Entrepreneurial Intentions (EI) through its relationship with Entrepreneurship
Education (EE). First, the result showed that Family Financial Status had significant
effect on Entrepreneurship Education, and the observed effect on Entrepreneurship
Education was subsequently related to higher Entrepreneurial Intention. The
bootstrap samples indicated that the indirect effect of Family Financial Status on
students’ Entrepreneurial Intentions through Entrepreneurship Education was
completely above zero, which led us to conclude that Entrepreneurship Education
mediates the relationship between Family Financial Status and Student’
Entrepreneurial Intentions. The study recommends that entrepreneurship education
should be encouraged as it proves to be a powerful stimulant for promoting
entrepreneurship intention among students

Evaluating Effectiveness of Training Program in Eastern Samar State Universit...ijtsrd
The accountability issue of training and development among employees is evaluating the effectiveness of a training program in order to determine whether it accomplishes its goals and objectives, appraise the value of training, identify training gaps and to get rid of any training that isnt necessary. In this descriptive study, the effectiveness of training program of this university campus is evaluated in terms of faculty participants and the department heads viewpoints. Using an adapted and modified training effectiveness questionnaire, the faculty’s perceived learning right after the activity, application of knowledge and skill acquired three months later, and the department head’s evaluation of the faculty’s demonstrated learning in terms of its impact on job behavior and job performance were taken into account. Results show faculty participants “agree” that the activity courses have achieved their individual objectives, they have acquired deeper understanding about the subjects of the training program, and their performance level will rise as a result of their attendance to the training. Further, they “agree” that the TSPs have the full readiness to perform the activity courses, the resource persons are experts within the area of competence, the facilities were equipped with the highest quality standards. In terms of impact on their job performance and their application of learning three months after the conclusion of the activity courses, faculty participants “somewhat agree” they had the chance to make the best use of the skills they have learned from the activity courses and their job performance level have increased as a result of their attendance to the activity courses. Meanwhile, the department heads “somewhat agree” they have noticed an increase in the faculty’s performance in the workplace since their attendance to the training and they have noticed indicators that proved faculty participants benefited from the acquired skills in the training. The top two reasons why faculty failed to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the capability trainings are “they havent had the opportunity” and “they are very busy”. Dr. Bernadette R. The role of entrepreneurship in job creation and unemployment reduction is well established by prior studies. Hence, one of the ways to address the unemployment issue among young graduates in Malaysia is to explore how entrepreneurial intention could be embraced into the broader context of the country's education system. Empirical research found that prior studies on entrepreneurship education in Malaysia tends to focus on reviewing educational policies, issue and challenges. The concept of the entrepreneurial intention determinants beyond entrepreneurial education remains ambiguous. Hence, this study advances the discussion in entrepreneurship education by reviewing determinants for entrepreneurial intention from holistic perspective by integrating Model of Personality Traits and the theory of planned behavior (TPB). Five determinants for entrepreneurial intention are identified from literature review, which are entrepreneurship attitude, subjective norm, behavior control, entrepreneurship education and personality traits. The study is quantitative based, 360 questionnaires were distributed to the undergraduates from three faculties of a public university in Malaysia, with 199 responded. Data was analyzed via Pearson correlation and ANOVA analysis. Finding from the study suggested all the five entrepreneurial determinants are significantly correlated with entrepreneurial intention, and there is no significant difference on entrepreneurial intention based on faculty. However, one of the remarkable finding is Entrepreneurship Education is viewed as determinant with the lowest correlation coefficient with entrepreneurial intention. The implication of this finding is perhaps the content of entrepreneurial education shall emphasize on cultivating students’ entrepreneurial attitude, behavioral and personality rather than the theoretical part of entrepreneurial and entrepreneurship.
Abstract: This paper assessed the effect of training and development on employee performance using Bank BIC as
the case study. The study focused on the objectives which sought to assess the effect of training and development
on employee performance at Bank BIC, to determine the training and development practices and purposes at
Bank BIC, and to determine the training and development policy at Bank BIC Namibia. A mixed research method
was used with a sample size of 35 respondents. The study found that the majority (59.09%) of the respondents
agreed that training and development are improving their job performance at the Bank BIC. The majority (50
percent) of the respondents strongly agree that training and development are important for growth at the Bank
BIC. The majority (54.55 percent) of the respondents agree that training and development have improved their
morale. The majority (50 percent) of the respondents on the job training is an efficient tool for learning new skills
and improving current skills. The majority (40.91 percent) of the respondents agree that the training and
development that employees received is relevant to their work. The majority (59.09 percent) of the respondents
indicated that there was no specific training schedule at the Bank BIC. The majority (59.09 percent) of the
respondents indicated that the objective of training and development at the Bank BIC is to improve performance.
The majority (86.36 percent) of the respondents indicated that Bank BIC uses on-the-job training and that the
training and development policy at Bank BIC entails involving all the employees in the training program and
making them aware of the objectives of the training program. The study recommended that Bank BIC's training
and development practices should be reviewed regularly, with an appropriate assessment of the organization's
needs and identification of individuals' skills, knowledge, and educational backgrounds. On the other hand, the
organization creates appropriate training methods for employees based on their abilities and educational
backgrounds. The training and development program should be related to the needs of the employees and should
be matched to the objectives of the organization and the training should be chosen based on a proper need
assessment. This allows the organization to determine whether employees are comfortable with their jobs and
work environments, as well as how they deliver quality service
With the continuous development and application of modern logistics technology, logistics cost has become one of the important factors of enterprise competition. For the special field of cold chain logistics distribution, cost control is particularly critical. By studying the control method of cold chain distribution cost, this paper introduces how to reasonably optimize the distribution cost while effectively controlling the distribution cost so as to improve the competitiveness of enterprises. This paper sorts out the relevant theoretical overview and conceptual analysis and analyses the current situation of cold chain distribution cost control in logistics companies. Then, the existing logistics cost control system is evaluated, and the hierarchical analysis method and model comprehensive evaluation method are used to analyse the current control system score and problems that require additional attention and find the cause of the problem. Finally, rectification suggestions are put forward to improve distribution costs to enhance the competitive strength of enterprises.
The advancement of both society and the economy may be traced back to the industrial sector. Businesses and academic institutions alike have shown considerable enthusiasm for the Industry 4.0 initiative. Although “Industry 4.0” as a concept has been explored in academic circles for some time, it is only recently that the term has become popular in both academic and industrial settings. Academic studies, on the other hand, aim to better the industrial sector by clarifying the meaning of the concept and developing relevant systems, business models, and methodologies. Businesses need a thorough understanding of the features and substance of Industry 4.0 in order to make the transition from machine-dominated to digital production. These data will be useful when they formulate a plan. Along this route, there have been many discussions and plans put forth. The rapid progress of industrial science is linked to this ailment. This paper conducts a literature review to investigate the relationship between Industry 4.0 and the development of industrial engineering science, the challenges that this field faces, and the impact that the industrial revolution had on human resources, all of which contributed to the emergence of Industry 4.0. To improve productivity, efficiency, and unemployment, the concept merges digital technologies, the Internet, and conventional industries. Moreover, some of the ramifications concern the detrimental effects of Industry 4.0 on human resources. The fundamental objective is to furnish labor forces with tools by expanding employment and spawning new avenues for business ownership across several industries and institutional configurations

The company under study specializes in producing garment products. The production process of the company has so much waste, a long production time, a high cycle time, and a high defect rate, leading to low productivity, low quality, and late deliveries, affecting the competitive edge of the company. In this article we have discussed how Six Sigma can be applied to improve the company production process to reduce waste, the process production lead time, the cycle time, and the process defect rate and then to improve productivity and quality and finally increase the on-time delivery rate and the competitive edge of the company. The research methodology is based on Lean Six Sigma theory, with the platform of DMAIC procedure, including five steps: define, measure, analyze, improve, and control. The tools used in the steps of DMAIC procedure include cause and effect diagram, Pareto diagram, value stream management, work design, SMED, line balancing, Kanban systems, FIFO, autonomous maintenance, visual management, design of experiments, and control charts. After applying Lean Six Sigma tools, the company has reduced the production lead time by 89.21% from 279 to 30.1 min, reduced the production cycle time by 36% from 25 to 16 s, reduced the process defect rate by 37.45% from 14.9 to 9.32%, and then improved the on-time delivery rate.

The qualitative methodology was applied along with an interview technique. This study revealed the impact of COVID pandemic on impacts within the organization, remote working strategies, and technological adaptation. HR managers faced the challenge of employee satisfaction and organization productivity at the same time. The paper discusses about the challenges of HR on remote working and the strategies to overcome these challenges. The study revealed that the employees had to face problems such as communication problems, lack of motivation to employees, family problems, and health issues.
The warehouse under study is an important link in the supply chain of a multinational company. At the moment, wastes still exist in warehouse operation processes, which lead to a low rate of order fulfilment and a low customer’s service level and negatively affect the company’s competitive advantages. This research shows how warehouse operations can be improved by using value stream management as a platform with the objective to reduce the non-value-added time and decrease the lead time and hence reduce the late order rate and increase the customer’s service level. The current state map has been drawn. Non-value-added activities in the current state map are analyzed to define causes and solutions to the problems; then the future state map is drawn. The result shows that the non-value-added time reduces by 50.69%, from 143 (mins) to 70.5 (mins), and the lead time decreases by 19.07%, from 464 (mins) to 375.5 (mins).
This paper is all about a study that is mainly focused on daily work management (DWM) charts at TVS Motor
Company, Mysuru. The objective is to study the process of managing DWM charts and simplification of the process
and its impact on the team leader’s decision-making process. The essential information has been gathered from
the team leaders of the engine and vehicle assembly through face-to-face interviews, observation, and a deep
study of current DWM charts. Secondary information was gathered from books, journals, articles, and websites.
Implementation of a dashboard has caused various effects on the DWM of team leaders in different ways one of
the major impacts is the reduction (40%) in the time the team leader takes to store the data. It also resulted in a
reduction in the shift handover time due to the availability of relevant data in the digitalized format. Not only this, the
implementation of digitalized format has also reduced paper consumption in the organization to a greater extent.
It has been noticed that the shift handing over time has been reduced to 20 min from 30 min due to a simpler and
more precise representation of data from the previous shift through dashboards. Since it has been proved that the
digitalization of DWM charts has reduced non-value activities of the team leaders, digitalization of DWM charts can
be made in the other units as well.
This article presents the influence of female lower body characteristics as a waist position to the bottom of the foot on the design of women’s trousers. First, the author designs patterns for people with straight legs. Second, the product will wear on people with bow legs, X-legs, and people who have big waists and small thighs. Third, the author analyzes the fit of each pattern in every sample and gives directions for pattern correction. Finally, the samples are sewn again until they fit samples and are not wrinkles. The anthropometric theoretical research method is used in the product fit analysis. The theory designs trousers pattern that is used to design patterns for people who have straight legs. The experimental research method is used to conduct actual surveys on 40 people from four groups with different lower body parts through the Likert scale for five evaluation criteria on five levels. The survey results are analyzed on the SPSS software. The results show that Cronbach’s alpha index is over 0.7. Research has made practical contributions in the field of garment product design as well as consulting customers when buying and selling clothes.
Managing a three-dimensional (3D) printing facility was found to be more challenging than using the technology. Our research laboratory provides 3D printing services to students and faculty who need the technology to fulfill their education or research objectives. Students enrolled in Senior Design classes, in particular, rely on the availability of services to support their capstone projects. While demand increases, the laboratory becomes less efficient and sometimes chaotic. To improve the operations, Lean Six Sigma methods were applied to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Through a DMAIC project, we enhanced the availability of resources for requestors and prevented delay or accumulation of work. The new operating procedures enabled the laboratory to provide quicker services with fewer mistakes. This case study demonstrates that Lean Six Sigma is not only useful in manufacturing but also in research and educational settings.

The paper aims to analyze whether if, there is a correlation relationship between Credit Rating Agencies’
(CRAs) watch announcements on EU sovereign bond yields and EU sovereign bond yields after the implementation of CRA II regulation. In theory, the role of rating agencies is to provide key information to investors regarding the risk associated with in investing in sovereign bonds. . . However, it remains unclear whether CRAs influence EU sovereign bond yields. Sovereign bond yields are collected for Austria, Germany, Belgium, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Portugal. This country sample represents the empirical analysis of our study.
Data used for this analysis includes information on European sovereign bond yields, credit watch announcements from Standard & Poor’s Financial Services, Moody’s Investors Service and Fitch Ratings and interest rate volatility are all extrapolated from Bloomberg Database. European sovereign bond yields are collected from 1940 until 2015. Our study conducted multiple linear regressions tests in order to determine if evidence exists whether there a change in yield is determined by a watch announcement made by the big three credit rating agencies before and after the introduction of the CRA II Regulation and hence, whether CRAs do influence yields with their watch announcements. According to the F-test and p-value results, the study of sovereign bonds with ten and five-year maturities shows statistical significance in both situations at a 95% and 99% confidence level. With 0 for all regression analyses, interest rate volatility is also statistically significant.

Lessons have presented that one of the creation’s fundamental references is data as important to
determining trouble and settling on choices affected by both the contemporary and the forthcoming. On that point, it is reasonable to argue that the degree of doer use by an organization and its partners is dependent on the amount of data taken away. The expectation of this artifact is to resolve the evaluation of a few fundamental assessments on data the executives to qualify the keen of present information, design, decide the spread, and structure a model for an advanced overview in the field of data the board. The exploration archive was produced from referred to diaries, for example, Emerald, Science direct, IJRIC South African Journal of Information Management, and numerous more. The appraisal shows that the data the executives have is multi-disciplinary and consolidates knowledge and reference from certain fields. The evaluation also discovered that data executives are framed differently than data innovation. While investing in data innovation has had no effect on organizational activity, executives’ investments in data have resulted in organizational execution. Lack of references like accounts, human resources, and design and the
board help have been explained as the essential trouble for data the executive’s system. The appraisal finds that the conceptualization of arrangements and plans in line with the organization points and design, the dealings of appropriate innovations and administrative help are fundamental for productivity data across the board. At last, the
appraisal has distinguished that the specific perspective on data the executives has been immediately emphasized, but adjusted fascination has not been remunerated to the administration trademark. It is, therefore, recommended that scientists’ trademark interest to be reasonable in data across the board.
. Facility location is an important problem faced by companies in many industries. Finding an optimal
location for facilities and determining their size involves the consideration of many factors, including proximity to customers and suppliers, availability of skilled employees and support services, and cost-related factors, for
example, construction or leasing costs, utility costs, taxes, availability of support services, and others. The demand of the surrounding region plays an important role in location decisions. A high population density may not necessarily cause a proportional demand for products or services. The demography of a region could dictate the demand
for products, and this, in turn, affects a facility’s size and location. The location of a company’s competitors also affects the location of that company’s facilities. Another important aspect in facility location modeling is that many models focus on current demand and do not adequately consider future demand. However, while making location
decisions in an industry in decline, carefully and accurately considering future demand is especially important, and the question in focus is whether to shrink or close down certain facilities with the objective of keeping a certain market share or maximizing profit, especially in a competitive environment. This paper develops a model which enables companies to select sites for their businesses according to their
strategy. The model analyzes the strategic position of the company and forms a guideline for the decision. It investigates which facilities should be closed, (re)opened, shrunk, or expanded. If facilities are to shrink or expand,
the model also determines their new capacities. It depicts the impact on market share and accounts for the costs of closure and reopening. A number of papers deal with location theory and its applications, but few have been written for modeling a competitive environment in the case of declining demand. Existing papers in this area of research are mostly static in nature, do not offer multi-period approaches, nor do they incorporate the behavior of competitors in the market. To demonstrate the validity of the model, it is first solved using a small problem set – three facilities, three demand locations, and three periods – in LINGO solver. To get a better understanding of the model’s behavior, several additional scenarios were constructed. First, the number of demand locations was extended to 10. Our findings show that the model presented provides an extension of existing facility location models that can be applied to a variety of location problems in commercial and industry sectors that need to make their decisions considering future periods and competitors. The developed heuristic shows multiple options for solving the problem, including their advantages and disadvantages, respectively. The Java code and LINGO fragments thus developed can be used to provide easy access to related problems.
The curriculum management strategies of highly experienced and less experienced secondary school
principals were compared in this study. The study was guided by a single research topic, and a null hypothesis was tested at the 0.05 level of significance. The study was conducted using a descriptive survey research approach. The participants in this study were 106 secondary school principals and vice principals from 44 public secondary schools in the Nnewi Education Zone. Because the research population was manageable, no sampling was done. As a result, the study’s population size was made up of 106 secondary school principals and vice principals. Data was collected using a questionnaire produced by a researcher called the Curriculum Management Practice Scale. Two professionals independently verified the tool. Cronbach alpha was employed to examine the instrument’s internal
consistency, and reliability values of 0.75 were obtained. The researcher and five research assistants used direct administration to collect data for the study. There was a 100% return rate. The study question was answered using arithmetic mean and standard deviation scores, and the null hypothesis was tested using a t-test at the 0.05 level of significance. The study’s findings indicated that there is no discernible difference in the curriculum management techniques of highly experienced and less experienced secondary school principals. Most school heads do a review of all course curricula and hold meetings to establish what type of extra-curricular activities are required. The study’s implications and findings were drawn.
Academic pursuit is a long-term commitment, which can lead to negative consequences, such as lack of motivation, dissatisfaction, and disappointment if performance in an examination is low. Enjoyment in academic pursuits can sustain the interest and focus necessary to learn and perform. The flow theory, optimal level of arousal, positive academic self-perception, and positive emotional environment provide the necessary intrinsic motivation and important directions to develop strategies to enjoy academic pursuit. A framework has been developed to indicate that simultaneous activation of positive academic self-perception and positive emotional environment
routes leads to effective learning with consequent improvement in performance. Students can use these devices through continuous academic self-assessment. Research directions and applications are indicated.

Abstract. This study aimed to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of entrepreneur-
ship education programs at universities in Bali. The identified results are used as the basis for formulating strategies
for developing entrepreneurship education in order to be able to create more and more young entrepreneurs. The
approach used in this research is SWOT analysis and internal–external matrix. The results of the study indicate
that entrepreneurship education at universities in Bali has been going well; however, there are still obstacles or
threats faced and weaknesses from the entrepreneurship education programs that have been running, such as
lack of high public appreciation, especially parent’s respect toward the entrepreneurial profession, and the lack
of awards obtained from universities. Based on the existing environmental conditions, in the future, the obstacles
and weaknesses of existing entrepreneurship education need to be improved by frequently conducting literacy on
entrepreneurship education to the community and giving higher awards to students who succeed in becoming
entrepreneurs.
Keywords: SWOT analysis, strategic positioning, entrepreneurship education, and development strategy.
INTRODUCTION
The output of entrepreneurship education programs car-
ried out at universities can be seen from the number of
students who are entrepreneurs. All universities have a
goal to produce entrepreneurs from among students and
graduates as much as possible. This is because one of the
performance indicators of higher education institutions in
the field of student affairs is the number of entrepreneurial
students [22]. To achieve this goal, universities should have
a strategy for developing entrepreneurship education that
is suitable for the situation and environmental conditions
that exist both now and in the future.
To formulate a suitable strategy, it is necessary to analyze
the situation and environmental conditions, both exter-
nal and internal. This analysis is referred to as a SWOT
(strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analy-
sis [3, 19, 21]. SWOT analysis is also used to formulate
strategies for developing entrepreneurship education at
universities in Bali. SWOT analysis is a combination of
external and internal environment analysis that produces
opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses faced
and owned by the current entrepreneurship education
programs [13, 17]. Entrepreneurship education at univer-
sities in Bali is certainly a program derived from the
existing entrepreneurship program from the Directorate
of Higher Education (Dikti). Dikti is supporting this
entrepreneurship program in order to boost the number
of entrepreneurial students in Indonesia. Furthermore, the
effectiveness of this entrepreneurial program is influenced
by factors such as information technology (IT) advance-
ment, the openness of the global market to encourage
students that the product market would remain open, and
the public’s opinion of a career as a student. Furthermore,
the internal environment factors that can affect the success
of this program are learning methods for entrepreneur-
ship courses, entrepreneurship course materials, course
objectives, financial support provided by higher education
institutions, and awards for entrepreneurial students [22].
Previous scholars have conducted extensive study on
strategy development based on SWOT analysis [4, 8, 12,
18]. According to Ajmera [1], SWOT analysis is based on

reasons that may maximize strengths and opportunities
while simultaneously minimizing weaknesses and threats
and can be used to create development strategies. Based on
the background of the existing problems, the purpose of
this research is to identify opportunities, threats, strengths,
and weaknesses that exist in entrepreneurship education in
Bali as the basis for formulating a strategy for developing
entrepreneurship education programs at universities in
Bali in order to achieve the goal of creating an increasing
number of entrepreneurs.
THEORETICAL REVIEW
SWOT Analysis
SWOT analysis discusses the strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats that are most often used in
planning corporate strategy or organizational strategy [5,
10, 11, 15, 16, 20]. SWOT analysis, according to strategic
management researchers, offers the foundation for achiev-
ing the desired alignment of organizational problems [23].
The strategy formulation process is carried out through
three stages of analysis, namely, the input stage, the anal-
ysis stage, and the decision-making stage. Hendriani [14]
revealed that SWOT analysis is the matching of internal
and external factors with specifics, thus creating a strate-
gic matrix; internal factors are within the control of the
organization, and external factors are beyond the control
of the organization. The four combinations are called SO
(Strength-Opportunity), WO (Weakness-Opportunity), WT
(Weakness-Threat), and ST (Strength-Threat).
Results of External and Internal Environmental Analysis
According to Bolland [7], external factor analysis sum-
mary (EFAS) refers to social, technological, economic,
environmental, and political aspects that can be recog-
nized through brainstorming among strategy makers in
businesses. External variables that are beneficial to the
organization are known as opportunities, while those that
are detrimental are known as threats. Internal factor anal-
ysis summary (IFAS) relates to the company’s internal
weaknesses or strengths that can be changed, controlled,
or manipulated by the company. An IFAS matrix can be
formed to determine which internal factors are considered
relatively important and which are less important, what
are the strengths and weaknesses of the organization, and
what factors should be prioritized in considering strategic
decisions.

courses, leaders of study programs, leaders of business
incubators, and the industrial world. Data were collected
using a questionnaire with an answer column containing a
size of five levels of a Likert scale.
Internal environmental analysis uses a variable
approach to learning methods, learning materials, course
objectives, supporting facilities, lecturer competencies,
and awards to students, while external environmental
analysis is the role of the central government/higher
education, public views on the entrepreneurial profession,
IT development, market opening products, and economic
growth. SWOT analysis was used to analyze the data,
and the results are reported in the EFAS and IFAS tables.
Respondents as entrepreneurship education strategists
provide their perceptions of the weight (the magnitude
of each factor’s influence) and a rating to describe the
type of influence, and the total weighted score is used as
a basis for determining opportunities or threats based on
the results of the EFAS and the strengths or weaknesses
based on the results of the IFAS. The EFAS and IFAS scores
are then entered into the internal–external (I-E) matrix to
determine the position of the entrepreneurship education
plan as the foundation for building strategies to create a
large number of entrepreneurs.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Based on the results of data collection and interviews with
respondents, they obtained the results of their opinions
about the magnitude of the influence and the type of
influence of the variables determining the entrepreneurial
education strategy both from the external and internal
environment, which are summarized in EFAS and IFAS
tables.

a. Weighing of Future External Strategic Environment
To carry out a series of analyses of the external strategic
environment, the indicators of the external strategic envi-
ronment variables in the future are first weighed (Table 1).
b. Future External Strategic Environment Rating
The external strategic environment assessment is pre-
sented in Table 2. This table provides information on the
types of influences faced by entrepreneurship education at
universities in Bali in the future.
Most of the external environmental factors in the future
will provide opportunities for entrepreneurship education
at universities in Bali. This can be seen from the perception
given by strategists toward the creation of many young
entrepreneurs from students in the range 3–5, reflecting the
value which implies that the external environment consists
of the role of government / higher education, community
views, IT development, opening of global product markets,
and economic growth, while there are no threats.
c. Determination of Future External Environment
Weighted Value
The next analysis is to determine the weighted value of
each indicator to obtain the total weighted value (Table 3).
From the results of the I-E matrix analysis, the total
weight score was 4.70. From the total weighted score of
4.70 (greater than the cutoff value = 3), it can be said
that in the future (2023–2027), entrepreneurship education
at universities in Bali Province has many opportunities to
develop with a total score of 4.70.
Description of External Strategic Factors in the Future
Based on the summary results as presented in Table 3, it
can be described several things related to external strategic
factors of entrepreneurship education at universities in Bali
in the future, as follows:
Opportunities
1. Role of Government
The role of government in the future will be even greater.
Moreover, the government really wants to create many
young entrepreneurs and bring universities closer to the
industrial world.
2. Public’s Opinion
Over time, the views of the community and parents can
be opened by seeing many examples of success stories of
young entrepreneurs from among students. These success
stories are able to change their views and appreciation of
the entrepreneurial profession.
3. IT Developments
Of course, rapidly growing IT provides opportunities for
young entrepreneurs to carry out marketing communica-
tions to various marketing domains with the use of IT, such
as using various social media platforms such as Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram, and others. IT-based social media will
significantly expand the network or market reach of young
businesses. This circumstance resulted in improved sales
performance.
4. The Opening of a Global Product Market
Access to global marketplaces will become more open in
the future. This is aided by the rapid development of IT.
Furthermore, with the assumption that SMEs’ abilities are
improving, the use of IT is becoming more intensive, which
makes the opening of the global market a chance for young
entrepreneurs who originate from among students in the
province of Bali.
5. Economic Growth
Better local, regional, national, and international economic
growth all help young entrepreneurs expand because
people’s incomes are rising, their purchasing power is
improving, and there are chances for young entrepreneurs
to enhance their sales performance.

a. Internal Strategic Environment Weighting in the
Future
The steps taken in analyzing the internal strategic environ-
ment in the future are the same as the steps in analyzing the
current internal environment. From the prediction results,
it appears that the weight of the variables for the future has
changed because the assumptions underlying the devel-
opment of entrepreneurship education at universities in
Bali for the future have changed, which to achieve its goal
is to produce many young entrepreneurs who are able
to provide value to the community. The first step is to
determine the future importance of each aspect. Table 4
shows the findings of the analysis, which demonstrate how
the weights for each factor were determined.
Table 4 shows that the internal variable indicators have
weights that are almost similar to the previous conditions.
Only according to respondents’ perceptions, rewards for
students who have succeeded in becoming entrepreneurs
are given more awards so that they are the same as the
best graduates, and at the time of graduation the names of
students who have succeeded in becoming entrepreneurs
are also mentioned.

ship education at institutions in Bali has general strengths
or disadvantages. The total score result is 4.35, suggesting
that entrepreneurship education at colleges in Bali will
produce more entrepreneurs between 2023 and 2027.
Description of Internal Strategic Factors at This Time
Based on the summary results presented in Table 6, it can
be described several things related to the internal strategic
factors of entrepreneurship education at universities in Bali
Province, as follows:
Strengths
1. Course material
Entrepreneurship course material given to students
is great because it includes an explanation of the
concept of entrepreneurship, the characteristics that
an entrepreneur must possess, the goals of an
entrepreneur, the benefits or contributions that an
entrepreneur can make, and strategies to become
a superior entrepreneur, as well as the process of
becoming self-employed as an entrepreneur.
2. Teaching staff
The teaching staffs who teach this course are qual-
ified because of their level of education, with the

majority of them having doctoral degrees in man-
agement, then adding to numerous entrepreneurial
trainings, and having expertise in the field of
entrepreneurship.
3. Supporting facilities
The supporting facilities provided for students are
great, because the university has provided both
attention and financial support for students who are
interested in becoming entrepreneurs.
Weaknesses
1. Teaching method
What still needs to be improved is the teaching
method which is often only filled in in the classroom.
This is a bit far from the real world, so cases about
an entrepreneur are only an explanation. This con-
dition can be addressed further by directly inviting
students to internships at several start-ups so that
they can see the real conditions in the field to become
entrepreneurs, and then the meetings in the class are
balanced with 50% theory and 50% practice by doing
internships in start-up companies.
2. Rewards
Likewise, the rewards given need to be increased in
value so that it can motivate the students.
Entrepreneurship Education Position at Universities in
Bali
Determination of Business Positioning based on Internal
and External Strategic Factors
The I-E matrix is used to conduct tests on the extent
to which there are strengths and weaknesses, as well as
opportunities and threats, that are an integral part of the
internal and external strategic factors of entrepreneurship
education at universities in Bali Province. The I-E matrix
maps the strategic position of entrepreneurship education
at higher education in the Province of Bali by referring
to the numerous variables that exist in each dimension,
namely, external and internal dimensions. Internal dimen-
sions that are used as references include teaching methods,
teaching materials, course objectives, support facilities, lec-
turer competencies, and rewards to students; and the exter-
nal dimension is on the variables such as the role of gov-
ernment support, the public’s view of the entrepreneurial
profession, the development of IT, the opening of the
product market, and economic growth.
Based on the results of the analysis of internal strategic
factors from entrepreneurship education at universities in
Bali Province, it shows that the total score of internal strate-
gic factors in the future will reach 4.35, which is categorized
as a position classified as above average because it is less
than 3.00 as a cutoff value. Analysis of internal strategic
factors shows that entrepreneurship education at higher

education in Bali Province is good, such as in the method
of writing, learning materials, course objectives, support
facilities, and competence of lecturers, as well as rewards
for entrepreneurial students.

ship education at universities in Bali Province shows that
the total score of external strategic factors in the future
will reach 4.70. When included in the external strategic
factor matrix, it is in a position classified above the average
because it is greater than the value of 3.00 as the cutoff
value. These findings can be used as input for higher edu-
cation leaders in the Province of Bali in making decisions to
develop entrepreneurship education so that more excellent
entrepreneurs can be produced. The strategic position of
entrepreneurship education at universities in Bali Province
in the present and future can be described in the I-E matrix
(Figure 1).
Strategic Formulation of Entrepreneurship Education

According to the SWOT analysis and an I-E matrix
approach built from the General Electric model, the
6. 50 Ni Nyoman Kerti Yasa et al.
strategic position of entrepreneurship education in higher
education in Bali Province is above the cutoff value.
This condition indicates that entrepreneurship education
in higher education in the Province of Bali is in rapid
growth, which is located in cell I in the upper left cor-
ner so that it is very prospective for future development
in producing superior entrepreneurs. Thus, the relevant
strategy applied by universities in Bali is the Build and
Growth strategy. The Growth and Build strategy is to
develop all organizational strengths including intangible
resources and to take advantage of opportunities that exist
from the external environment. This is in accordance with
the results of previous research studies [2, 6, 9, 10]. The
growth and development strategies that can be carried
out by universities in Bali in the field of entrepreneurship
education are to improve teaching methods by balancing
the delivery of lecture materials 50% in class and 50% in the
field (internships in companies); improve teaching mate-
rials: more practice or create a business project; improve
goals courses: creating entrepreneurship, increasing sup-
port for facilities: creating more business networks and
greater financial support; improving the competence of
entrepreneurship lecturers: participating in certification in
the field of entrepreneurship; and increasing appreciation
for students: by giving gifts in the form of materials and
also mentioning their names at the time of the graduation
of the faculty and graduation at the university.
CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
Based on an analysis of the entrepreneurship education
environment at universities in Bali, both internal and exter-
nal, the following conclusions are obtained:
1. Based on the results of the analysis presented in the
IFAS matrix, a total internal score of 4.35 is obtained
and because the total score is above the average,
which is above 3.0, this shows that in general,
entrepreneurship education at universities in Bali has
the power to create more and more entrepreneurial
students.
2. Based on the results of the analysis of the external
environment presented in the EFAS matrix, the total
external score was 4.70; and because the total score
is above average, which is above 3.0, it shows that
entrepreneurship education at universities in Bali
faces good opportunities, such as the role of gov-
ernment, community views, IT development, global
market opening, and economic growth.
3. Based on the mapping in I-E matrix, the strategic
position of entrepreneurship education at universi-
ties in Bali is internally and externally located in
cell I, namely, Build and Growth strategy. Based
on the results of the SWOT analysis, IFAS matrix,
EFAS matrix, and I-E matrix, it is suggested that
the strategy for developing entrepreneurship educa-
tion at universities in Bali is to continue to grow,
improve teaching methods and materials, achieve
higher goals, and increase student rewards.
