HOW/WHERE TO GET RIGHT GUIDENCE TO START OWN BUSINESS
If you are starting your own business and work for yourself but don’t have a right guidance for business in mind, you probably think that what kind business are going to start. Start the business you know immediately.
Don’t urgently move in the business what someone tells for you. So keep in mind “customers will give the hard-earning money only if they know that they are getting worth” so you need to keep in mind what kind of business are you doing and what task you are going to do.
Business you know
Choose a business in which you have already have experience will give many advantages. In this business you can see the knowledge about the industry, training and skills, network of contacts, were you can find financing, suppliers and customers for your new business.
If you know the business which you are interested in turning into business talk to the related business people you are presently working in, and are the necessary tasks to run the business. Try to get knowledge about start-up-costs for the business, expenses, and how much revenue or income you can expect in your business.
If you have much interests in your business and choosing the best business, so you need to consider your strengths, find the education and skills for the business opportunities and research the marketplace to see that what type of business presently need in your area.
If someone else gives the bad idea of turning the business and earning into a lot where you cannot promote the business, how to explain the business for the customers and not having enough knowledge to supervise the salespeople your business will fail.
Try to learn much about the business which you are going to start set on it, spend more time in learning it before you start the business.
This brand guidelines document provides guidance on building Dr. Katie Henry's brand identity. It outlines her brand's core message of helping people find joy through transformation. Key elements include focusing on childlike curiosity, embracing one's inner child, and living a joyful life. The document covers brand foundations like vision, values, and credibility. DO I NEED SPECIAL INSURANCE FOR MY BUSINESS?
The term business insurance encompasses the many different types of insurance available to protect businesses, business owners, and employees of businesses. As a new business owner it can be stressful to think about the additional costs involved in getting your business up and running. However, every business owner should have some basic types of business insurance. Obtaining insurance for your business is an investment that will help to protect your business and your livelihood in a number of different emergency circumstances.
What kind of insurance coverage do I need to have for my small business?
One, you may need business property insurance to cover your assets against various losses that result from natural and man-made causes. Check the policy to determine what assets and an event it covers, and purchase riders for any additional coverage you feel is necessary. You may want to cover any building you own and its contents (e.g., furniture, office equipment, inventory, and supplies). If you lease space, you may still want to purchase property insurance; your landlord's building insurance will not cover your business possessions. If you run your business from your home, you should consider purchasing separate business property insurance. In most cases, your homeowner’s policy does not cover the use of your home for business purposes.
Special insurance for the business
It is wise for any business to possess a general business insurance policy, which includes liability and other standard coverage. Your place of business, if you own it, should be insured; and if you rent, you still want to possess your own coverage. Don't rely on the landlord's insurance.
If you have one or more employees, there are three types of insurance that are mandated by law; social security, unemployment and worker's compensation insurance. Social security and unemployment plans are administered through payroll processing and workers compensation is arranged either through private insurance of employer self-insured coverage.

A FASTEST WAY TO EARN EXTRA CASH
If you're in a money crunch (and who isn't?), you can do one of two things: Sulk or go out and earn some extra dough. We vote for the second. Here, inventive ways to line your purse with a little more green.
The fastest way to earn extra cash tips are
1. Sell stuff on eBay. Clothes, exercise gear, books, housewares — anything you've got lying around that's in decent shape can be put up for sale on eBay or another Internet auction site such as craigslist.org. Post decent digital photos of your items so browsers can really see what you're pawning off; credibility is key to making a sale. Also, ask that the buyer pay the shipping charges, not you.
2. Tutor struggling students. If you have strong writing or math skills (and the grades/résumé to prove it), check in with schools and learning centers and offer yourself up as a tutor. If you're a college student or recent grad living near a university, contact the academic department of the subject you excel in and see if they're looking for tutors.
4. Sign up with a temp agency. Even in tough times, temp agencies still have openings for office work or retail help during evenings and weekends, so you can work a regular job yet take on the occasional shift elsewhere. Yeah, it's not the ideal way to spend a Saturday, but you can rack up at least a Rs. 3000 for a day's work.
5. Hold a mega-garage sale with friends. There's strength and money in numbers. Combining lots of items for a blow-out rummage or stoop sale will bring in more crowds (and cash) than if you sat in your driveway with just your own wares.
9. Sign on with a catering company. Caterers have huge turnover and always need to recruit new reliable, presentable employees to work weekend weddings and parties as waiters, bartenders, and hostesses. You'll earn about Rs.1500 on a day.
The document discusses coaching and provides definitions, benefits, principles, and models for coaching. It defines coaching as a collaborative process that facilitates self-directed learning and growth. Some key benefits mentioned are improved performance, relationships, creativity and unlocking a person's potential. It introduces the GROW and BOOST models for goal setting and feedback in coaching. It emphasizes the importance of listening skills, questioning techniques and putting coaching into practice.
The document discusses growing internal coaches in an organization. It defines coaching as helping people make the best use of their own resources through structured conversations. Coaching is shown to increase productivity and effectiveness. Growing internal coaches has advantages like knowledge of the organization but also challenges like maintaining objectivity. The document provides suggestions for finding, training, and supporting internal coaches, noting that coaching supported by training leads to 88% productivity increases compared to 22% with just training. It encourages organizations to make coaching widespread and asks how attendees can personally support coaching.

The document outlines the 4 must-do's for effective coaching: 1) Observe without quick judgement and examine your own role, 2) Listen to understand rather than respond, minding nonverbal cues, 3) Give timely and permission-based feedback focused on behaviors not individuals, 4) Ask open-ended questions one at a time without leading questions. It reinforces these points using the example of Olga, a Russian Duchess, to help the reader memorize the key coaching practices.
The document discusses the benefits of exercise for mental health. It states that regular physical activity can help reduce anxiety and depression and improve mood and cognitive function. Exercise causes chemical changes in the brain that may help alleviate symptoms of mental illness.
1. The document discusses performance coaching and outlines an 8-step coaching model used by Indo Group to improve employee performance through coaching.
2. The 8-step model includes establishing trust, defining goals, discussing impacts, creating plans, getting commitments, addressing obstacles, clarifying consequences, and ongoing support.
3. Effective coaching skills that build understanding and relationships include active listening, open-ended questions, clarifying, goal setting, and providing constructive feedback.

Steps are provided to discover one's brand, including reflecting on personality, strengths, values and interests. If you asked a customer what they think about your business, how would they respond? Would they recognize your logo or be able to recite your slogan? Would they talk about the quality of your product? Maybe they'd talk about how much they love working with your employees.
These perceptions – both positive and negative – are what form your brand, your company image. A memorable brand will define your business, separate you from the pack, and create loyal customers. So how you do you build a effective brand?
This presentation will help you:
1. UNDERSTAND YOUR BRAND. We’ll learn what comprises your brand and how you already have one... whether you knew it or not!
2. BUILD YOUR BRAND. Your brand is far more than just your logo. We’ll discuss how to discover your brand and make a “brand promise.”
3. STICK WITH IT. The biggest branding challenge is getting enough exposure. You’ll learn why consistency – and patience – are key.
The document discusses business coaching, providing an overview of its history, purpose, benefits, and how it differs from other development services like training or consulting. Business coaching originated in sports in the 1800s and expanded to business starting in the 1930s. It involves one-on-one sessions between a coach and client to help the client improve performance, develop leadership skills, and achieve goals. Coaching uses assessments and questioning to guide clients as they sculpt themselves, unlike consulting which provides solutions. Most large companies and organizations now use business coaching.

The document is a personal branding canvas created by Yasmine Story, a student pursuing a degree in Sports Media and Marketing. It outlines her background, skills, career goals, credentials, and strategy for gaining employment in the field of global merchandising or marketing for brands like Puma, Adidas, or New Balance. It describes her education, experience in social media marketing and design programs, goals of becoming a Creative Director, and plans to enhance her professional network and skills through research, events and training.
Luqman O. Obileye gives a presentation on personal effectiveness and self-branding. He argues that one does not work for an employer but rather works for themselves as the CEO of "Me Incorporated." He outlines four steps to branding oneself as a personal brand: defining your brand, determining objectives, increasing visibility, and living up to your own brand. The presentation emphasizes developing skills, being a valuable resource, differentiating oneself, promoting one's abilities, and anticipating change in order to be professionally successful.
